Y'know, Quark? That one downloadable senario editor used for Half-Life, Doom, Quake, and Hexen maps? Ya, well, I downloaded supposidly the latest verison, 2.1 something or other. Well, it doesn't work at all. Ya, I know how to work it, place walls, insert the textures and everything (Learned it at my friend's house), but whenever I try to do something, it either doesn't respond or just closes out. Anybody know how to fix this?

I'm familiar with QuaRK, just oddly enough I've never used it for Quake.  I usually export the maps over to constructor and then export them as .difs for the Torque engine.  It does work, it just takes some getting used to.  As far as the difficulty you're having, I'm really not sure what the problem might be.  Maybe the latest version is buggy?  (I haven't used 2.1)

Could be a Vista issue or something related to your OS - I'm not sure what version Quark is at (man I haven't heard about that in years) - but it may not work properly in newer OSes? Just a stab in the dark...
