Married two women, received a letter to meet someone in Brownstone to pay a bribe to keep my adultery a secret. Met him in Brownstone, received the Renown bonus WITHOUT 'Accepting' the bribe payment. Now, the 'Accept' choice for this bribe payment is stuck. When I hit the 'A' button to accept, the green circle fills, but the bribe is NEVER taken. This bug has blocked my ability to select anything in the game requiring the 'A' button. I am also not able to change quests due to this bug. I receive a message about waiting for the scene to finish.

Help? Anyone? Please??? Lots of gaming hours are at stake.......

You're game is finished, you can't play any more.

You can thank lionhead for not properly play testing the game before release.

Can you try just shooting the guy?  Yeah, it seems , but he IS blackmailing you. >.>

This happened to me too. Grrr Can't shoot the guy he disappeared the game saved and then it is stuck and you can't talk to people anymore.

Ditto, and now the 'A' button doesn't really work unless I hit it a few times. And even far, far worse, I can't pick up anything, which means I can't finish the Hero of Skill quest --> can't finish the game. Please tell me I didn't waste my money on this.

You would probably be better off deleting fable 2 from your xbox and starting a new save  ... maybe thatl work ?

And then run into the same glitch or another game ending glitch? Restarting is a waste of my time and the money I spent on this game. I just want to know if Lionhead is working on this specific issue.

All you have to do is stand infront of Kenneth the guy who's collecting the bribe and after a few seconds he'll give in and get scared

Ok this is getting weird for me. I have played fable 2 for many hours and even beat it and the only bug i ever encountered was after the spire my kid wouldn't budge but i continued with the main sory line and my kid returned to normal. So i guess im lucky when it comes to no bugs lol.
