Well if they abandon it,

for me!
I have an ENTIRE blueprint for the best god game ever, just means less competition then.
I'd share it with them, but i'd want to see it done exactly to blueprint...
Of course, Lionhead if you're reading this, i have a full blueprint of the game mechanics (the programming code and other resources would be up to you). Feel free to email me at my email address on the forums if you're interested. i've spent the past 2 years refining the idea, just don't have an outlet. If you're interested i'll present it to you and you can say whether you like it or not. (ie, game modes, methods of winning, buildings, purposes behind things, how it actually AFFECTS things... because seriously? in BnW2 a lot of civic buildings seemed useless).
I'd recommend you take more of an RTS style approach to building purpose, along with adding a priesthood. I'd also recommending borrowing the idea of creating your own civilization and creatures and architecture and ruling paths from SPORE. Not to mention allow for diplomacy so you can take over abandoned or other towns without force, but without having to do

by giong to war.
(seriously, i need that ore mine at that outpost and no one lives there. was is taking an abandoned town

?)
These are tip of the iceberg suggestions, but you should take a hint from the game Actraiser for the old SNES too as far as a leveling system (yes you heard me, leveling by population, along with allowing a one on one duel inside the enemy god's stronghold at the end of that god's story arc!)
Not to mention make it longer. I'd gladly pay MONTHLY for new content always coming out!
Anyhow, if you want a larger exposition on the full set of ideas, contact me. I want to see what you think.
