    Millie!

Apparently if you're unhappy with Milo, you can choose to talk to Millie, a female equivalent.

Wait…did you hear that? That was the sound of a thousand paedos jumping for joy.

    Re: Millie!

you've got to admit this game is completely open to manipulation by the media because of whats involved.

    Re: Millie!

because paedos dont like little boys? i bet there will be no paedo following to this, as they will not create any part of the game to include any sexual abuse. Its all innocent

    Re: Millie!

I'm sure there'd be some sort of anti-naked function in the game.

Player: "Hey Milo...what colour are the clothes I'm wearing..."

    Milo: "you're not wearing anything....."

    Re: Millie!

    when was Millie mentioned?

I also doubt it'l be used by paedophiles, but the fact is, you cant let some bad people stop you from making any game.If we did, there would be no crime simulators, no shoot em ups, etc.

Just make the game, sell it and let the buyers decide what they do with it.

I personally dont mind if its a boy or a girl what I find interesting is the concept of the game , and the future of it if its succesfull (and no I dont mean that in a wrong way <_<)

    Re: Millie!

The boy and the girl don't concern me, but it's the DOG!!! Can I talk to the dog?! Big Smile [:D] Also will there be other characters such as his/her friends or family comes to his/her little camera and want to talk to you? Or is it just Milo and Millie?

    Re: Millie!

I'd probably prefer a female child, for some reason. Maybe it's my inner paedophile, but maybe it's my growing obsession with having a daughter finally taking over.

Also, is anybody else wondering why the child has the dog's name, whereas the dog has the human name?

    Re: Millie!

I doubt Lionhead would program Milo or Millie to be responsive to any abuse of that kind.

My thoughts too. I think people forget that they do have to program his actions and his responses to quite a large degree. Apparently he won't recognise 'rude' drawings you give him and stuff like that.

He'll probably say something like " I dont understand that" , or just ignore it all together I guess

    Re: Millie!

Personally, I probably couldn't pull *** moves (pun not intended) with milo or whatever the female counterpart is. While it is AI and it won't have any ramifications in the long run, but not in my genetic code to be a complete ass out of lulz, even in a video game (took my forever to get used to being E v i l [Evil] in Fable, sacrificing and killings all I got nailed down).

They watched too much Indiana Jones?

Well, quite some sacrifices start with getting nailed down so you're on the right track in a way. Smily [:)]

Nah, I think the majority of them will keep to J-Games.

But the important question is will there be differences between Milo and Millie beyond appearance and voice?

And if so, will they fall into gender stereotypes or be realistic presonae still?

I doubt milo will even respond to anything like that

"Milo, what is this drawing of?"
"Lets go play a game!"Crazy []
