Is the energy sword the strongest weapon in the game? If not then what is. What is the strongest gun... and sword?

To be 100% honest  I have no idea..

I only got the game today, but there was a tip that said something like the weapons, from best to worst go in this order (or similar):

Rusty
Iron
Steel
Master

I think theres somethign inbetween steel and master.
But any weapons with "Master" on seem to be the best?

im not to sure wot is (i dont know what u get with the special eddition) but any master weapon with a gypsy improvment from the gypsy camp

You get 'The Wreckager' from the special edition.

Does 65 damage but has a few Augments on it.
Master wepons seem to be the best for the casual gamer but i think legendary wepons are the best... i may be wrong though.

the legendary weapons have the abilities that are nice but the master weapons in general are more powerful and you can enhance them to your liking with up to 4 abiliy slots. The more slots to upgrade it the more it will cost.

the diachi katana is best in game if u like sword fighting, otherwise augument one yourself to your liking. use a master weapon

from getting all perfect in crucible i got a legendary axe. u cant get scars and some other ***. im sure it hits just as much ore more as master.

I got a legendary blunderbus (ie shotgun) i cant remember its name but it does about 160 damage and has the slash and burn augement, but the pros out weigh the cons of it

I have a master katana with an aug that does fire damage, it's like a level 5 aug so it doesn't do anything back to me.

Anyways I've yet to come across any other melee weapon that's better than it, including legendary and LE weapons :x


As for ranged, I'm not quite sure yet. ATM I'm using the one you get for 1st place at the shooting range, I have one better but this one seems far faster.

The best combo I've made so far is:

Master Katana:
with Ghoul (or something like that... It drains health) and the one that gives you gold(no downside)

Master Flintlock Pistol:
with Lucky charm and the one that gives you gold(no downside)


The pistol kicks butt because it has a fast reload time and it does a lot of damage, and if you ever get low on health, just use your sword and you'll recover in no time.

Well, right now I'm packing...

The Daichi: 96.0 Damage, Cutting, Fast attack speed, Devastation Bewitching and Killerwatt augments. (Best melee weapon in the game, locked in a chest after Archon's Knot dungeon.)

and

The Rammer: 119.0 Damage, Arrow, Normal, 45ft range, Ghoul Flame and Bewitching Augments. (Probably the best ranged weapon in the game, acquired after destroying all 50 gargoyles.)

The Enforcer (The Legendary Blunderbuss) can be awesome with its 177.0 Damage as well for ranged, but it only shoots at a range of twenty feet maximum, and it has a full second reload time and a one bullet clip so.. yeah. Really depends on how you're approaching combat.

The Legendary weapons are the strongest in the game, but most of them have augments that allow for better killing and more points, but make you more prone to scarring.

Seems the best is the Daichi: 96 damage, inflicts electrical damage & you are more attractive.
And the Rammer (crossbow): 119 damage, inflicts fire & drains life of your targets.
Also the Red Dragon: 41 damage, inflicting more damage & you take less.

I'm using the Master Axe with 2 augments (discipline & fire) & the Master Turret Rifle with 2 augments (gold & extra damage). Plus, I have another Master Axe with 2 other augments as well as another Master Turret Rifle with 2 augments.

I'm set for anything...

Actualy im pretty sure the Master Axe is the strongest mele wepon 99 damage, and the Enforser (blunderbus) is the strongest range weapon 199 damage.

Well if you talking about the amount of damage per a single hit then yes, those would be the strongest.
However you also have to consider that the Axe is a 'slow' weapon and the blunder bus doesn't fire very fast ether. Some weapons might be weaker but they are faster and can do more damage over time because of that.
Personally I think a Master 4 slot Katana would be the best melee chose while the Master 4 slot Flintlock Pistol would be the best Ranged chose.

The knothole master weapons all are availble with 4 augment slots, those and the legendary weapons are best namely the daichi found at archons knot!!!!!

the master hammer is the strongest (non legendary) base damage weapon at 107.  as for legendary weapons, they really arent that when you start comparing them to properly augmented master weapons.  the 4 slot master weapons are only on knothole, but even the 2 slotters if done right can be way better than any legendary weapon in the game.  test out a master cleaver with devastation and piercing agony to see what i mean, it blows the daichi outta the water. if you just wanna do raw melee damage just sport the 4 slot master hammer (devastation, piercing agony, mighty oak, luck and skill) and youll be killing literally everything in the game in 2 swings or less. and yes i do mean literally every enemy except trolls will be dead with 2 strong swings.

Yeah it is at the base damage, but it also the slowest weapon in the game along with all other hammers. A decent katana or longsword can easily overpower it.

I keep hearing about legendary weapons. Where do you find them? Is there a legendary longsword?

I believe you've got the best chance with the Daichi. It is a katana with 96atk but it is so fast that it won't let your enemy hit back! So definetly that as a strong weapon

lol lewis there are like 7 legendary melee weapons in albion and about 4 legendary ranged weapons... ive found 5 of the legendary melee weapons in 3 days... and ive amounted a total of 2570509 gold.

Über Fail.

As far as the absolute deadliest weapon goes, it is eaither a 4 slot master clockwork rifle or the red dragon.

The daichi was very powerful pre-knotholde island, but since it "only" has 3 augment slots, and one of them being useless as far as fighting goes, it is not as strong as lets say a four slot katana with lucky charm, flame gift, devestation and ghoul augment.

Red dragon is still probably the deadliest since you can spam it like holy hell, it fires as fast as you can, no other weapon comes close to the speed of this thing, and both its augments are really . Only downside is that its base damage is fairly low, but since enemies are stunned when you shoot them it does not really matter

But I have said this before many times, fable 2 is a very, very easy game as far as combat goes, just pick what you think looks , unfortunately for me, Lionhead decided to make the master longsword look like crap and the only legendary longsword to be a weapon, ruining my knight character, so I use the daichi instead, samurais are cool to
