For all you characters out there who chose to sacrifice your youth and beauty for the girl, I'm sure you know that you can get it back by donating to the Temple of Light.

I donated about 10,000 gold, and saw no changes. So I did it again. And AGAIN. I figured I'd come back later, so I did a quick travel to Bowerstone... and I had my youth and beauty back! I was ecstatic, but I probably wasted 20,000 gold.

Just bear in mind that you morph only when you load a new area, so you don't waste gold like I did

I got mine back but didnt want it!

My character looked pretty with glowing red eyes in his monk robes, even though he had a halo above his head.

Now he has big blue eyes and seems to be quite young.

Hehe, maybe in an expansion they can add the option to go back to the shadow court claiming to be Reaver's latest sacrifice...

In the end of Fable 2 i chosed: Wealth

At what point did you donate to it? Do you have to come back to it later in the game after the Reaver part? As i just donated to it straight after changing before speaking to him and i didnt get my looks back

Do you get your 'start of game youth' back or your 'after spire' youth, because your character always looks forty after the spire, Even if he/she is only between 28 and 32

I tried this after I completed the main story. I kept going back to the Temple dumping money in and going to a different area. After a while I gave up because it did not seem to be working for me. I logged off went to sleep and came back on the game to see my character no longer looking like a grandpa.

Does it work? Who knows. Would be nice if there was an place in your logbook telling you how old your character is like it did in the first Fable <sighs>.

No, I dont think so.  But if you have it, there is two areas at the temple of light, and you donate in the smaller area, not the same as when you were younger.

is there anyway of getting youth from the temple of shadows? i noticed that after i recieved the maelstrom, the quest still told me to make a truly sacrifice at the mystical hour of midnight  but i never did anythin. anyone know?

I have the same problem cause I wanted to get the legendary weapon from there. You must of missed the quest to save the Temple like I did. The only thing you can do, is start over.

Two things help get youth back

1) Donating to the Temple of Light

2) Sleep at the top of Brightwood tower

3 things help get rid of the red eyes

Repeat 1 & 2

What are u guys talking about? My character got his youth back after defeating lucien. When I used the box on him all the old age and stuff from the shadow court got transferred to him! So I got it for free. so i dont know if it only happend to me or anyone eles got that but that does happen

I know the ultimate way to gain youth and beauty. WARNING HUGE SPOILERS!!!

By the time you do reaver's quest you should be able to do the quest on brightwood tower. Listen up, dont do it before the reaver quest to wraithsmarsh. what you do is after sacrificing your youth and beauty, do the quest, you will gain youth the red glowy eyes dissapear, and your scarring disappears. Once you do that, if your scars dont disappear you just drink some scar vanishing potion and your . Also this also gives you the quest again after you beat the game, which gives you a total of 200k worth of gold and 200k worth of diamonds of sorrow.

   Oh and just for the hell of it here is a secret you can visit the dream world in the tower at brightwood as an adult just sleep in the bed when you come out of the dream to visit as an adult.

Above is the way I did it. Got my youth back, but... I found that as I went along, one day I checked out the character and found she had wrinkles like the middle age character. Sleeping in brightwood chesty bed didn't help. Oh well. Well one day I donated to the temple of light as I was trying to get some points. I went to Fairfax Gardens Throne Room and BAM, just as young as I was in the beginning of the game. Thought it was a fluke. Well today with the same character... after having two kids that are at the 10 year old mark... she's got wrinkles again. Went to the temple and donated, back to fairfax and now back at the 20 year old mark.

Point is it seems like after you go a certain amount of time between donations you start to age or if you have kids you start to age. Not sure, but I have had to donate twice with this character.
