I have achieved immortality! -insert maniacal laughter-

    Well kind of...

As some of you may well know I've struggled with the problems of aging in Fable II,
especially where my beautiful E v i l [Evil] hero is concerned...

She always begins to develop wrinkles after I complete the game and play for many hours afterward.
(I know about all the known youth restoring methods)

I would complete Chesty's quest and low and behold a week of play later I'd have wrinkles again...
Making the OCD *** in me want to restart the character because she's flawed...
Don't laugh I'm on my 53rd hero because of things like this.

    -getting to the point-

Well, now on my latest attempt at the perfect file
I have once again got the dreaded "Frozen time" glitch. Oh no!
I freaked out at first and almost deleted her once again
until I realized I'm better off this way, no seriously.

    1.
I've completed all the quests that require you to be somewhere at a certain time.

    2.
I no longer have to worry about a shop or a vendor closing while I'm in the middle of my business.

    3.
    The most important of all...
I don't seem to be getting these wrinkles anymore.

I assume this is because the flow of time in game has stopped aside from
sleeping and fast traveling rendering the space-time continuum completely owned.

(I've also got a spare chesty quest in reserve in case I need it later)

So, a horrible glitch has been turned around and is now being used as a G o o d [Good] thing.
What do you think, I can't replicate the glitch nor can I tell you how I did it but here I am.

    That's it, just my story.
    Anyone?

Finally a glitch you can exploit to your advantage Crimson.  Glad you won't have to worry about your E v i l [Evil] lady getting old this time around.  Wink [;)]  See you in Abion.

Criminson! G o o d [Good] to see we can count on your OCD to learn more and more about the game.  Are you sure the "old" morph isn't connected to your corruption? I've been trying to make my heroes gnarly scarred oldy oldsters, but given my leaning to be G o o d [Good] and pure they usually end up blonde eyebrowed youngsters... I'm not sure I've ever run into the time glitch either - but it is also G o o d [Good] you turned it into lemonade.Up []

I'm not sure about this whole aging thing for F2. I've played 1.4million seconds (3887 hours) and i've not yet seen again take place on my character.

As a relative Noob to these forums you really do not know much about many of the problems Crimson has had over the last year and yet he still plays the game.  I have seen photos of some of his ladies and they do age over time not sure if its because he loves playing E v i l [Evil] corrupt or just a glitch on his disk.

Re: I have achieved immortality! -insert maniacal laughter-

One way to get the frozen time glitch (if you really want it) is to fast-travel to another region from Nightmare Hollow rather than using the bed after the balverines to escape. You might have to revisit Nightmare Hollow after doing the Chesty quest to do this; I'm not sure.

In Nightmare Hollow, time is frozen at midnight. Using the bed to escape restores the passage of time, but fast-travelling does not. Unfortunately, using the bed doesn't seem to restore time if you already have the frozen time glitch, so it seems like that's an irreversible decision.

Though you say you haven't done Chesty with that hero yet, so that's probably not how you got the glitch. Nevertheless, seems like that's one way to get it.

(Anyway, Chesty removes scars, not wrinkles, right? I think the way to remove wrinkles is, as Frank suggested, to eat a lot of "pure" foods?)
I don't 'do' sigs. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: I have achieved immortality! -insert maniacal laughter-

This is puzzling none of my characters are old and wrinkley,  I have a G o o d [Good] , an indifferent, and a straight out E v i l [Evil] toon and all are young.  My wife on  the other hand has her own xbox and copy of fable 2 and all of her toons no matter how pure and G o o d [Good] or E v i l [Evil] all develop the old age wrinkles they look older than dirt.  lol it really ticks my wife off she keeps making new toons to just have the same thing happen  she can't figure out why mine look so young and awesome.   I wish I knew why of course it is kinda fun teasing my wife about her old wrinkely alter ego (my couch isn't that bad anymore, and hey it is closer to the xbox!) lolCrazy []Crazy []Crazy []

All you have to really do is give 50,000 gold to the temple of light every one in a while. That way you stay 18.

That is if you didn't purge Oakfield of the temple already.
