Hi, new to the forum, as well to the game. I recently ran into a problem and was hoping someone can help me with it as I've tried everything.

I'd say based on what i know I'm about a bit more than halfway through the game, with an alignment leaning towards the dark side so i can easily switch to virtuous if i want with some different gear or tatts. BTW I'm playing on PC (should of known this was gonna be a headache).

Ok so my problem is I raised my Guile and learned to steal and discovered its pretty easy to steal in Oakvale over and over again. I don't know if its related but i did get caught a few times... never paid a fine, just used the apology over and over and got away with it cause of my high renown. So here is the thing... with the money i made i went on with the game, then on a recent trip to Oakvale i realized everyone was running away from me. My first reaction was 'oh cool' so i checked my scariness and yeah it was sky high (after i got my dark chainmail/plate outfit), eventually I wanted to marry too, so I got my scariness all the way down to -100 and my attraction really really high forgot how high but high enough for men/women in every other town to toss themselves at my feet. In Oakvale though, no matter what i do they still run away from me. Only certain women/men will talk to me. I have removed all scary tatts, replacing them with attractive ones and i even put on the dress with the red hair. As i mentioned i have as low a scariness as possible and a high attraction. My alignment is even 4 bars into the virtuous now so i know its not that. I married successfully in another town (the one near the guild) and only have this perpetual fear issue in Oakvale. WTF?

Has anyone else experienced this? What the hell did i do? Was it the crime spree? Because i even paid off all my fines and it is still happening. I reloaded the game and its a part of my save...so if i cant fix it im screwed in Oakvale (well not screwed but limited in who i can talk to).

It sounds like you need some positive PR in Oakvale.  Even after paying for crimes, people in a town you terrorized won't be happy with you for a while.  Just stay legal, give gifts (heal spell counts and hits everyone in the vicinity, so I like it), do "nice" expressions like laughing/ flirting/ showing off, and keep up the image.  Eventually, they'll calm down, but it might take a while.
