hi guys...i rly need some help please....i tried all methods...i event tried to connect to the sv previous guyz gave...but didnt manage to play bw online or with my friends ( on lan....can someone please help me with some info?  add me please  at this id   Punk4life_098@yahoo.com    please i rly want to play this game online

there should be no problems on LAN unless of course theres a router between the connections blocking UDP broadcasts..

What about Mac version of that? Uh?

Hi can anybody help me?...I have a question i make a server, i connect to my server everything is ok but when i go to play BW i cant see my server on local connection what should i do?

Is there a location where you can find games?, because i really just want to play and the one Dero put in the Readme is inaccessible. It's frustrating not having anyone to play with 'cause you don't know where to look.

I also have a question about network connections. I have hamachi as well as the BW client (of course), so do i have to enter the IP address into both to play a game?

Once my client is finished there will be no more looking for games, because they will all be centralized and managed by the same server.

Alright I'll need some help with this program. I didn't feel like going through 30 somethin' pages of post so I don't know whats what. I went through 'bout five of them and still can't figure out how I work the damn thing. I put in the IP address and I get some sort of error message that says Socket Error on Connect: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused [IP Address.] : 10061.

Having said that, if you haven't got an existing LAN connection, if you install hamachi, you can tell bw to use the network interface hamachi gives to you, then use my program to seek other game clients in LAN without connecting anywhere.

How do you explicitly tell B&W to use the Hamachi interface?

I have an ADSL PPP, LAN & Hamachi interfaces...

all working...

and B&W still refuses to let me Join a LAN game... I only get the check option to Join Online games (((((((

Hehe, I agree, since the last few months I've played BNW on my macbook instead of my desktop...

Still playing on my creature from 2001! Love it, anyway did anyone know how to teach the creature how to ignore lightning damage or damage in general so it doesnt get interrupted while casting mega blast increase? This guy Shifter showed me how it was done on my first creature but this one doesnt seem to know it, so open for suggestions and ideas!

10 ports to forward in B&W!!?!? (www.portforward.com)

I don't have 10 ports to spare in my DrayTek port redirection page....

But I notice 5 ports are repeated... both for TCP & UDP... do you reckon we can get away with just forwarded the TCP ports?

Portforward.com's BnW1-specific information was for the original multiplayer hosted by Lionhead, to get Phoenix working you only need to forward the three ports in the original post. 

It's the way how he said it in the original post.. quote:

So I went to portforward.com for more information and that website says to portforward 10 ports!!!!

Anyway, so we only need to portforward 6012, 6014, 2612... TCP ofcourse... but what about UDP?

I forwarded those ports in the OP with "Both" selected, and I can successfully host now, and have played a few games with a friend.  Of course, I don't know too many people with BnW1 so I can't play online as much as I'd like to.

My stupid DrayTek doesn't do BOTH only either TCP or UDP... and there's only 10 slots... and most are allocated/owned by my other associates since we share the net connection

So that means I need 6 or 8 port forwards

Could someone tell me if this works with Creature Isle?
