There is no reason why discussion on good/evil play can't carry on in the BW forum, but when it comes to a choice of leaving these threads there and starting new ones here or moving these ones here and starting new ones there, I look at the fact that the threads are 99% RP, and I just have to admit that they belong in here.
    In case you missed it.
I have no idea what I am talking about

Thou shalt not mention that name again! Sorry, I just can't learn my lines for the play Sad [:(] I guess I'm unique among the "Where are the..." RPers in that I didn't lose a large number of posts, but I still have an opinion (no matter how invalid) and I agree with Dero...

    Re: Playing an RP

I'm slightly confused. 1. Lord T are you suggesting that we move the Where Are? threads back to the BW1 section and start new threads in the RP forum to continue our RP? 2. What the heck is Animal Farm and why was I caught quoting it!?!?!?

    Re: Playing an RP

    1. Yes I am. Silly [:p] 2. The Animal Farm is a novel written by George Orwell in the post-war period. The story is about a farm where the animals revolt and expel their human oppressors, in order to govern themselves freely. In the thought that all animals are equal, they set up a code of laws they must abide by. Everything goes well for a period, but the pigs gain influence since they form the intellectual elite. In a military coup, one pig takes control and basically takes the farm back to the days under human sovereign, only with pigs as the upper class. It's a good book, and a comment to liberalism and communism alike. You didn't quote it per se, you just reminded me of a passage when you said you kept changing your mind. It's when the two parties of pigs argue about the future of the farm (one wants to build a windmill, the other doesn't), the animals are usually in favor of the one speaking at the time.

Rolleyes [] Yes, you did. We had three threads back then; right now, there's more than a dozen threads. It's slightly more justified now. Get over that de-rep already. Someone disagreed; no need to take it out on everyone else.

    Re: Playing an RP

Rugby5, try not to moan about de-reps here. Those complaints are supposed to be placed in the rep complaint thread or something. That post had no use at all except perhaps trying to annoy some people with a stupid "I told you so" post. Try not to post such useless posts.

    Re: Playing an RP

i'd like to actual add a rule on to GM of a RP. The GM is aloud to kick members out, So if its a BnW RP for instance, A GM should be able to kick someone out, But actual add in an ending to that player, And if that player spams, Than Mod's are aloud to give them a warning.

    Re: Playing an RP

Ah all the threads besides the alignment threads are doomed to fail anyway. I doubt any other RP will rise that's able to last longer then 1 or 2 months in this forum. The alignment threads are basically the core of this forum and the rest is just people wasting some time with randomness. There's just not good enough RP threads being created with a concept that people find interesting enough to stay connected with for long. There's not enough people interested in keeping going a good RP yet either. Maybe when the current lionhead games get old more people will flow to this forum, with nothing else to do. I mean, the Alignment Threads have like 16 active members(currently not so active. Holidays and all. But still...). There's just not that much RP people around. It's not really possibly for other threads to attract that many active good RPers and keep their attention at this time. Of course part of it may have to do with the threads being in a separate forum. The Alignment threads started in the B&W1 forum, which used to be well visited. That easier got people involved who didn't really have that much interest in stuff like RP before. Like me. The only people who visit the RP forum are people who are already interested in seeing what goes around in the RP forum. If my favorite thread wasn't here even I wouldn't bother visiting this remote section. Makes it hard for new threads to be successful. That said I think I would prefer it if there were less of these other threads around. You know, those threads everyone will have forgotten about in a month. Just ditch all these poorly created RP Threads and leave the forum to the Alignment Threads. Then think up something both original and interesting that draws in the people's attention and keeps it. Advertise some in the OT section to attract some people that have nothing much to do anyway. If that fails just close this forum and place the Alignment threads in the B&W2 or B&W2 fanfic section or something. Which incidently I would have preferred anyway. Good luck to anyone trying to get a good RP started. May you have more luck then I expect you to have.

That is mainly because it is and always will be great threads, no other, as Battle pointed out, will ever be as good because we all have our share of artistic writing capabilities, we have good grammar and our storylines are great! I liked fel's RP however, sad that it died Sad [:(]

Well that's not completely true. It's true that you guys kept terrible roleplays alive, but only temporary. But indeed with you guys gone perhaps there will be less terrible threads around.

They're definitely original; they even boast some great writing and characters. You, I'm afraid, can't even make your letters capital. Tired [:tired:] And what's so original about animals wandering around without any sort of major plot to go with it? Hell, it may be original ... but very bland.

    Re: Playing an RP

Rachel, cheap spam's hardly a decent RP. A collection of one-line posts does not qualify as a proper role-playing game Wink [;)]. Anyway, I think you'll find that the more succesful RPs were long before your time - with more than three people. You, of course, wouldn't know the murder mysteries Big Smile [:D].

    Re: Playing an RP

we never really got to the major plot because RYTEDR wouldnt post... the major plot was a black she-wolf who would seemingly be after only revenge but actally something much much greater (like world domnation!), and also was magical (could turn into a raven and use simple shadow magic.) And guess who that wolf was....Morgra! It oraginal at least.... AND ITS NOT MY FAULT IT DIDNT HAVE MORE THEN 3 PEOPLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE JOINED Silly [:p] *goes to smash something* any way find a Rp (on here) that has more posts then animals. (other the the aligfinment threads!)
