Can they even make another BW? EA may have rights to it that prevent it. The sameway someone else is making Syndicate and the current status of DK and Pop ( and theme games for the fans of it ). I doubt EA will be quiet about BW3 being published by Microsoft. I also doubt we will see BC back on project either. The only hope here is that they did manage to make Fable 2, so unless microsoft just specificaly made that one game possible, there may be some hope.I didnt buy fable 2 for same reason I did not buy Fable 1. That stupid sexist remark about females not playing rpg games And the further stupidity in assuming that men do not play females rpg characters... I digress... Id love to see bw3 made, but I have put that possibility on the same shelf as DK 3.

i would like to have ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) old b&w1 as coming back with all its features and in a new physic engine... b&w2 and botg was a fail in my opinion... it focus more in build and buy upgrades for your army and people and is more like RTS than a god game...i think the classic b&w style was the best! and the multiplayer completely beat up everything....

I would love to see a sort of Gods VS Titans/creatures The
creatures could basically be sick and tired of being slaves to the gods
and try to take control while you and possibly other gods are trying to
bring them back under your control, destroy or make peace with them. The
first level you could choose between lands and each one would have a
different creature on it that you could enslave/destroy/ally with. As
you play through you could focus more towards Disciple worshipers
acting like clerics/priests or what have you casting small miracles and
taking on the features of whatever creature/titan that serves you, i.e.
goatmen, lion men, ogres, minitaurs etc. These special worshipers would
act like miniature creatures much like on creature island but still
about human size. Perhaps having just one high priest that has that
bonus and all other worshipers have headdress and clothing that depicts
your creature/titan. While they are out and casting miracles your mana
is depleted very slightly for each one cast. You can have the option of
cutting them off in order to allow you to have worshipers/priests and
still collect mana. Having it so that for every creature or god
destroyed by you and or your own creature you or your creature perhaps
both gain an added bonus, either creatures increased strength/size or
an epic miracle or bonus that your god alone has. Creating more
classes among villagers like sheperds and hunters as well as musicians
and assassins (walk into enemy villages disguised to appear like them
and walk around appearing to "mate" but the enemy villager drops dead
moments later) I felt there was really nothing wrong with
the gameplay of B&W 2 only a need for greater variety to allow the
player to truly create a land of their own. Customization is a major
thing for many gamers simply take a look at Fable 2 and Spore and all
the add ons available on Xbox Live simply for players to "customize"
some aspect of their games. Adding variety while keeping a high
standard of gameplay should be the goal of B&W 3 PS: I really wish the ogre had made it into B&W 2 even if he looked ridiculous modding the gorilla is all that's needed ![^^ <img src=]() ">.

- Custom maps
- Ability to control what miracles ur creature casts
- Visibility of creature mana, happiness, health, hunger, and boredom
- MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been posted in another thread.. Now,
I really like most of the ideas; especially the acolytes/priests using
human-scale miracles, but maps with just tranquil city-building? That's
a bit less of godly work and more so being a mayor. My input:
make cities a little more automated. Make villagers be able to build
for themselves but be able to intervene as you wish. -Armies:
platoons were awesome, but we need a more tactical/detailed army arc
than just "here are swordsmen. throw them at the enemy." We need some
axemen "up in dis ***" and possibly some cavalry/spearmen. -Races:
Being able to control the Greeks was cool and all, but I always aspired
to be like Odin or Thor, manly gods with manhammers. That, opposed to
being Aphrodite or Athena would be an obvious choice. Have a choice of
which civilization you want to control. -Game Design: Have it
less based on "lol fantasy magic missle rofl XD" and more based on
actual norse mythology(See: Dominions 3). I really liked the art style
of the first two, so yeah that's a plus, but the only thing that really
irked me was the ![G o o d <img src=]() ">/ ![E v i l <img src=]() ">
asthetic or rather it's lack of subtlety. Don't get me wrong, I liked
the fact that I had an active volcano under my feet at all times, but
it just really annoyed me that everything was so black and pointless.
Same with ![G o o d <img src=]() ">, I liked the whole utopia, didn't like the shine on everything and the happy go lucky. -People,
Diciples and usefulness: Now, in B&W one, I felt like less of a
powerful god. All I could do was assign my people to worship me or...
not. In Black/White 2 I felt like the people were less of ![G o o d <img src=]() ">
for nothing sods who sat around, doing nothing and more like expendable
meat puppets I could give pointy things and hurl at my enemy. Please,
give me things to do with my meat. -Skirmish/maps: Oh god, yes.
I love everything about skirmishing in B&W1. Why'd it change in
B&W2? I don't know, maybe the fact that it wasn't there. A few
skirmish maps with other gods would be nice, or even better... A random
map feature/map maker. It should be easy enough to get into, so it
would appeal to a vast majority of people. Edit: Creatures: Holy
mother of god this is going to be a hot one.. but... Who says we need
to have real creature avatars? I liked having the wolf in B&W2, but
I'd like to have a 3-headed hell hound or a Furiously fantastic Dragon,
those 2 would have a better fight than a big, stoned kitty(trailer park
boys reference) battling it out with a very large cattle. -Story:
Holy *** just drop the "old god new god" drama and have a decent
storyline. You could rip off H.P Lovecraft, or as much as I'd love to
see a star-spawn creature, you could have a pantheon of
pseudo-gods(yourselves) and a true god who killed the pseudo-gods for
fun and stuff, but he ascended, leaving you guys behind and now you
fight for power etc. -Your God Symbol and "Personal Style": I
liked having the symbols in B/W1, I was just saddened when they weren't
in more places. I'd love to see an army of men with giant eyes of Horus
on their shields, wearing my colours and charging towards the Athiest
Army of Awesome.

B&W2 was set quite a while after B&W. It was ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) to see that the people had actually advanced.
So I'd like the third one to go even further on this. Maybe people could go round in horse and carriage, there could be travel between cities, and so on. Some people say that B&W made them feel more godly because the people were more reliant upon you and you had lots more miracles, but all it did for me was make me feel like some kind of babysitter. I want the people to be more independent, for me making a civilisation out of nothing is a lot more godly than making a few houses and your people never doing anything from there.
Apparently there was also an idea in Lionhead for B&W2 that the creature could be anything on the land. You could find something like a sheep, cow, even a rock (if the rumours are to be believed ![Stick out tongue [:P]](/emoticons/emotion-4.gif) ) and turn it into your creature. That would be pretty ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) for a B&W3 as well as more customisation, like changing the colour, changing the shape slightly, length of fur, things like that. I liked the tattoo feature in B&W because it made the creature unique, not just something you got lumbered with. It was yours, not Lionhead's. Flying creatures were considered as well I've heard, but I don't really like that idea much either.
Controlling the creature directly like you could control the minions in Dungeon Keeper would be pretty ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) too ![Stick out tongue [:P]](/emoticons/emotion-4.gif) .

But to everyone asking, I'm not sure if Lionhead have officially announced they'll never make a BW3 (Peter Molyneux did after all say he'd make 5 B&W games) but they have announced that they're only working on a secret game right now, and that that game isn't in the B&W series. So, unless they're lying, we have a long wait for B&W3 if it's ever going to be here at all.

First off... Middle ages = fun Renaissance = not fun Middle ages = Awesome races,IE: barbarians, civilized white guys, chinese, muslims, the very end of the roman empire possible swords/possibly sorcery. Much faith in god(see: dark ages) and some awesome ways to be ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) Renaissance = Just "the white guys" and "the muslim guys". Possibly "the chinese guys". Guns/technology with less magic and more "WELL THERE MAY BE NO GOD". Until you come around. I don't like the horse and carriages, because that almost always implies it's going to be more of a city building sim with a giant hand you can beat things with. I do agree with you on the godly babysitter vs. great deity argument, though. I really liked the freedom to say "im gonna go up to the store and loot some beer from the norse" and being able to come back and see that my city is not in ruins and priests are not raping little boys. I'm still pretty adamant about creating a unique god, not a vague miracle-casting guy with a big kitty or cattle. I'd like to even perhaps see a messiah pop up or something. Something to do with converting people, beyond "THIS IS UR INFLEWNS RING, DONT GO OUTSIDE" playpen. I want my number of believers in certain regions to influence my power over there. Possibly making prophets and priests. I think black and white has the potential to be a fun, if a bit mature game of godly fighting. I didn't really like the creatures anyway.

i think adding different tribes so your not always doing the game over again as the same people. More diverse range of creatures. more variety of troops and buildings. Houses try to make them look different. even being able to take control of a villager/ soldier to get you more involved. interact with your creature more like in black in white 1 in the second one you were really torn away from you creature because of all the things you had to do.

I'm going to be blunt and honest, and I don't expect a ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) reaction. Black & White 2 was a bad game. Black & White 1, however, is a classic. What do I want for Black & White 3? A return to basics. Take the original Black & White game as a base model, use the Black & White 2 engine (it was beautiful, no matter how dull) then just make a few minor tweaks to the original game. First of all, make it so villagers only need homes when there are homeless, children when they are running low on people ect. Black & White's people where too needy, especially since you where managing multiple villages. And before anyone says anything, the solution is not to have one city like in Black & White 2. The whole machanic of persading people to join by building or going out and concuring....It became very boring very quickly. Black & White had building, but it also had persading and you had multiple settlements. This ment you where never without something to do, one of the things that Black & White 2 suffered for. Secondly, don't use the creature from Black & White 2. B&W2s creature wasn't an animal or a pet, it was a robot or an actor. There where too many menus when it came to the creature. In fact, scrap the menus completely. It makes a game feel stale and machanical, not organic like Fable and B&W felt. Lionhead have forgotten this, and for it there games are loosing they're soul. This needs to be rectafied. Anyway, the creature. B&Ws creature may have been stupid, but he was lovable. This is the difference between the two games. B&W2s creature felt irrataiting and over powered from the get go. He seemed to know what he was doing straight away, It didn't feel like you where nurturing a animal, more directing a annoying actor, or programing a machine. The other problems I had with B&W 2 have less to do with machanics and more content, or lack of. Seriously, 4 creatures?! What the hell lionhead? Sure you brought out more, but only by spending more money on a pretty shitty game. Bring back the horse, rhino, zebra, tortois, sheep, bear (make the polar bear the ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) morph), chicken and croc. Plus, add some more for ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) measure, like an elephant, giraffe, stag/deer, pig, walrus ect. This is suppose to be a sequel, an upgrade of the origanal. Don't take content out! Another thing is storywise. While I never played B&W for the story (it wasn't exactly shakespear) you at least got the feeling like you where against impossible odds, you felt like one amongst many. You can't make a ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) story without the main character being the underdog. Yes, I know thats pretty hard in god terms but in B&W you where facing other gods, many gods in fact. You where just one insignificant high power in a sea of much higher power. As you watched nemesis concure other gods more powerful than you, you just thought "bugger, how the hell are we going to beat that?!" You never felt like that in Black & White 2. You knew you where always going to win. It was god versus...the aztecs?! Not exactly an almight heavenly struggle for power. Just another thing to make the game dull. Time setting is another important thing. Theres really no need to move forward in time any more, it didn't feel right in B&W2 and it won't feel right when you directing villages called London and New York. B&W felt like a myth or a fairy tale, set in a time long forgotten in a world far away. That's the feeling I want to get from 3. Bring back all the original tribes (directing just one is...yep, you got it, boring) but it's ok to make a few changes to they're look obviously. The norse tribe for instance should look like a tribe of vikings, with buildings to match. I feel the norse tribe suffered from a bit of an identity crisis in B&W, which is strange when they're such an iconic people. B&W2 got this one right, its certainly best to use their buildings and look for the 3rd game. Also, Lionhead, Peter, for the love of god (pun totally intended) bring back online. Yes, B&Ws online had it problems, but it's nothing that can't be fixed. One of the problems it had was finding someone of equal power, which certainly wouldn't be hard to fix. Simply add the option to balance your power, have your creatures the same size and they choose some miracles that both can cast. It wouldn't be hard to do, and it adds so much replay value to almost any game. Personly, what I want to see is a new game, an online mode and a remake of the original gamein one. B&W is a classic that everyone needs to play, and it'd be so wonderful if this could be done. Look at what VALVe did with the Orange Box. Now thats a developer to look up to. But I'll be honest, do I expect this game to be make? No. Either Lionhead is going to give up on B&W completely (which wouldn't be a bad move if I'm honest) or they'll try smething new to make the game even easier and less fun to play. Peter, if you read this, heed these words. Stop making a bunch of features and calling it a game. Look to the past. Make games with soul.

Why not the renissance? Imagine the more tech you gain for your people. The more influence you lose. Since moreknowledge they get. They start to think for themself. So ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) god will be defined how much freedom you will give your people. And ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) god will hold the people in an iron fist. Then probably you could add the same idea for the people as for creature. If you reward the people for being agressive. When they gain independence (or not) they would be warmongers. One thing I also would like to add. Is a heaven for the dead souls. How would your heaven/hell be like? Fluffy clouds, hot lava or something in between?

yoshilia:What will happen if your suggestions become included? You will hate that game! Because LH took your ideas without any thanks. Always if you are playing it, you will think: "Hell, they took my idea, making money with this, and I ....." You will not only hate that game. You will hate LH and maybe the whole games industry. Maybe you are surprised and proud at first because they have it realized. But only for a couple of minutes. Your frustration on the other side will continue till the end of your life.
Who cares? I just had two of my ideas (alien costume and A-10 warthog) put into saints row 2 as DLC in Ultor Exposed and I love it. By posting what you want here you are pretty much asking them to add it with the fact that it's in the game being your payment. If you are so greedy that the company must pay you or add your name to the credits to use the ideas then you may as well not post them and try applying for a job in the creative department (if any employees read this I'm in the market). Instead of trying to convince us of the percieved s of submitting ideas for future games why not post constructively and add ideas or find another thread. If you dont want your ideas used to make money then wait for the game to come out and MOD them in yourself. BTW, you dont like cheat codes do you.
Back on topic, heres what I'm after:
NO WINDOWS LIVE!!! IT BLOWS!!! Achievements are great but expansion packs should be CD based, NOT DLC based so those who dont have the internet can get it. Windows live is a HUGE hassle to use, anyone who has fallout 3 for pc can tell you this, myself inluded. They HIDE any DLC making modding a hassle even with official tools.
The ability to play as ANY of the game's civilizations.
New civilizations: Germanic tribes, Britons, Chinese, Native Americans, Africans, and Inuit.
Cheat menu for use in ANY mode (story, skirmish, ect.) with things like infinite mana, infinite resources (ore, food, ect.), infinite tribute and/or unlock everything, baby fatory, build anywhere, no influence ring, ect. I wouldn't care if I had to play through story once to unlock them as long as they are there. Cheats add to the feeling of being a god.
Skirmish mode: This really needs to be put in, would have loads of maps and options such as enemy god on/off, influence ring on/off, enemy personality, alliances, and starting locations.
Keep the easy creature training.
New creatures: Asian Dragon (breathes fire and can swim), European dragon (breaths fire and can fly), Hydra, Bear (grizzly), Panda, Spider (uses web construction and attack as well as venomous fangs), Dinosaur, Custom Creature (player creates it with parts of the other creatures).
New hands: Samurai, Clawed, Tribal, Ghostly, Aurora, and Stone.
The ability to design your god with several prest options and wearables, would be used in statues and temples.
Wall fix: make it so they can be built ANYWHERE there is land, sure the vilagers cannot climb the mountain to builds the wall but being a god YOU can. This would get rid of the irritating issue of walls being built in a way that an enemy could just walk around it if it weren't for collision.
Mod tools that do not require scripting for a new map, I just want to be able to make a land, set starting points, and let the AI do the rest.
Naval forces: The Aztecs were defeated right? So why not have a return of seafaring civilizations.

Heres my ideas.
Progress the game to Middle Ages or something around there.
Bring back faith and impressiveness system from B&W 1.
Introduce huge RTS elements, like calvery, light-hev infantry, diff types of seige weapons, light-hev archers, naval combat, and like have human generals/leaders, recruite females into army
Customize villigers like what clothing they should wear, what is appropriate for this gods religion: like poligimey, or not drinking at day or something
customize creature a bit (not a creature creator like in spore) but create haircuts, tattoos, battle armor
Beef up AI
Create more gods, bring back aztec god
most importantly online and offline skirmish (the skirmish alone would make the game)
Failure is an Option.

What I found great in the original Black and White, is that you actually had to train your creature to cast miracles, and in a way was limitless. In Black and White 2, your pet was limited to 4 or 5 battle miracles, and I couldn't really get into the new style, although the battling was much more fun. Also, the creatures in Black and White 2, looked no where NEAR scary enough for being ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) , except for the wolf, but for some reason got super skinny and dumb looking. So what I would look for is some new fightings technics (smoother, and smarter creature), more extreme looks for ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) / ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) creatures, miracle training for creatures (all miracles) rather than buying a few that you are stuck with the rest of the game, different creatures might be fun-unlockable creatures, and not too much new content to overcomplicate the game. Other suggestions like modernized cities might be too far. Keep it close to its origins

I was kind of hoping my idea's would be eventually implemented into B&W2, but they halted production... I think they intentionally made the game a major disappointment just to get people uninterested in a sequel so Fable could progress better. With all the things placed in B&W2 that came directly from Peter's head, I don't think he can be any longer called an innovator. But anyways, if there is any hope for another B&W2 expansion or even another sequel, here are my idea's: -Depending on if the god is ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) or ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) , allow him/her to create different types of angels or demons from 'extremist' believers. -Make an undead race with different needs (ie. not food) -Allow ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) gods to directly convert the undead race, but force ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) gods to purge them. -Send armies on crusades with only the need to press a few buttons, then allow them to do the rest

Possibly even give a "Ressurecgtion" miracle. Re-release fishing so it feels like the villagers have a larger variety of food, also to let you actually make disciples on the meadows instead of it being their own choice. I think it would be nice if you would also gain " ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) " for giving them a larger variety of food."~ ~"A colliseum were you could train your troops here instead of trying to get them to fight aslo a creature training arena were you could get your creater better at fighting and learn new fighting moves!, scratch, bite, kick, punch, head butt, round house kick."~

Especialy the first game (we didn't know what we had to expect) blew everything.. After Peter M. released his fantastic B&W II we we're blown away by the graphical engine.. but the story was not that strong. After all the first version is difficult to beat.. and the army's got in the way especially when you play a ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) God ... But then again I played both games quite oft... I hope sometime there will be a B&W3... no matter how bad or how ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) or what the price will be ... I'll buy it.. but I won't buy an XBOX just to play a/the game.. so it has to be a PC game. (Have to wait for FABLE II to be released for PC, and if not... well then no FABLE II for me... )
