Man, you guys have your goals too low.

The point is to make a story so epic, so amazing, that the sun implodes then reforms and finally explodes. You have to kill humanity, not shatter a rock.Cheeky [:cheeky:]

Anyways, lol. Constant moaning. At least you finally started to work on it after that.Stick out tongue [:P]

Whenever i eventually finish this story, then form start my next one, This will be my goal

Actually, the goal is more like this: The story should be SO EPIC, that it has it's own gravitational pull, causing every planet, moon, rock, and star, to just fly towards it and collide. Then the story must still have enough epicness to push all the planets, rocks, stars, moons, and everything else back to their regular position before they implode, reform, explode, and collect back together before they finally all grow a pair then get testicular cancer. THAT is how epic a story should be.

Kit made it cool, randomthought…. You ruined it! Confused [8-)]

Anywho, I’m quite surprised at the activity of this board, then again I am surprised the boards are this active, but we do have people who rush through the game. Paranoid [:aranoid:]

I however wont be on anytime soon, I have just got gold a few weeks ago. I have been glued to my new 360 Stick out tongue [:P] yes new… -_-’ Anyone who wants to play with me, feel free to add my GT but please do tell me who you are, I mightn’t of heard of you. Confused [*-)]

After I have my 360 fun I’ll get back to this topic, and MY fiction, as I was taking a break from writing. I look forward to finishing my fable fiction anthology. Big Smile [:D] ^^ [^^]

Welcome to Lion head forums faerie, don’t be concerned with your forum rank, I know plenty a aged member who still have a low rank, its not to signify how new you are but rather how often you’ve posted. Don’t worry too much with the views over comments, it happens to everyone, just keep writing and eventually someone will be inclined to post.

I’m sure if you love writing, and are dedicated to it, then you’ll be up there. As this topic is in light of the minority of writers who seen their stories as more than a bit of fun for a few days, but a piece of work which required time effort, and devotion, the majority of the board in my view is just a few people thinking “oh wouldn’t it be cool to write a story haha” then giving up on it after a few days. Stick out tongue [:P] or not bothering to enhance their writing skill.

Regularity is something a reader will see and commend the writer for, you’ll find writers who post updates frequently are more loved than those who are lazy and or busy.

    Again welcome to the board.

If you write it, they will post . . .Stick out tongue [:P]  As long as you stick with a story you like and keep up the quality, someone will post eventually.  Enough views will get you a "favorite" mark on your work, and that will attract more readers.  Don't be too concerned with attention, you've still got a lot of time to work on your reputation as both a writer and a forum member.

When you get G o o d [Good] reviews, don't be full of yourself like I was, that mistake will probably cost me in the future...somehow.

I'll have to keep that in mind then. Cheeky [:cheeky:]

But yes, do not get to full of yourself because the fall will hurt when you hit the ground. Always keep a level head about your writing.

And can we see more critiques with stories while we're at it please? Yes, it's always nice to have someone praise your story but some helpful, non-flaming criticism is always nice to see. Especially when it comes to updating this thread in the future.

And am I meant to be the common critique? Sad [:(] I would think people with accomplished quad-trilogies would help others with their stories more so than others. Stick out tongue [:P]

But yeah as said in the opening post, the community can make suggestions for this topic, please make sure its of high quality. Smily [:)]

Beware of one star ninjas (*Ninja [:ninja:]).  They escaped from TMO and may be attempting to misrate your works .  Don't let them get  you down; if they target you, you must have gotten some attention they want to ruin.

    One Star Ninjas? Oh dear...how...unfortunate.

But yes, do not let them get you down. Hell just ignore them.

What I find odd is...is that it's one person making multiple accounts to play the one star ninja game. I mean, if it was a roaming bunch of different one star ninjas, then maybe I'd issue Order 66 and hunt them down but one man? Nah, not worth the trouble.

How sad do you have to be to do that btw?

The one star Ninja [:ninja:] have striked again! My first attack from them, hmmn i don't feel angry, Ha! their attack has no effect, so why do it? Why attack only the recent posts? They are bias that way, its obvious who they are, but is there no way to stop them?

Re: Those That Paved The Way

i rate them low, to show that i don't care if they (The one star ninja's) rate them at all, to show that the rating means nothing to me. Its the comments from the readers that matter. Other writers rate theirs high, but i see no point and rate mine as average because i believe they are that, average, nothing special. You probably wouldn't understand. im just annoyed that the writers that deserve 5 stars are given low rating for no reason but profanity.

Re: Those That Paved The Way

^it is the same guy, he basically admits it in his sig/title

and even though it doesn't really do anything, it's still annoying when your story gets 1 star...that usually discourages the writer

I agree... I just got attacked by the same one-star ninja. In fact, he does it so often that he's more of a one-star assassin. The ratings don't matter as much as the comments, but its still frustrating.
