I think that is rather amusing going from the standpoint that the only way to obtain scars is by dying. So in theory maybe if you try to NOT die you will have less scars? Like me, I get hit a lot but that is only because I use the dodge feature more then the block feature. I still haven't died yet. You could also carry more potions around? That might help.

I also agree with Moroch. LOL

My first character was covered with scars.
As soon as I figured out what caused them I started a new hero
and made sure that I kept plenty of potions and resurrection potions
and I've yet to get a single scar since...

Hell, I've even got that augment that makes you prone to scars and
    I'm still clean.

If you don't want scars then make more of an effort to prevent them.

i guess it's true, your fable character does really represent who you are as a person.

Gotta love guys who sling insults across the internet. What a tough guy...wow

And screw Peter Molyneux, he should know better after the feedback from the first game. He ignores the complaints on this from the first game and forces this on everyone regardless, he doesn't deserve any respect. I hope he stops making games, we don't need developers like him.

well your insulting PM over the internet arn't you d*ckhead! or should i say tough guy!

umm if youd played the game thru and not quit cuz u dont like looking ugly in a game(in wich ,i might add, the main char is already ugly) youd have found out two! ways to get rid of scars..do the perfect world and you resurrect as a young man and the brightwood chesty quest will remove scars....why some one would make a whole new thread is just silly, scared  noone will notice you in the 2-3 other s car forums?
Four times fifty living men, and I heard no sigh nor groan....

The scars are there to show your battle status, Lionhead wanted to add some realism as well as a personal feel to the game mechanics.  The scars offer a way to feel attached to the game mentally, such as a lot of scars show that the hero has been in combat alot and is not afraid to die.

I bieleve if you donate money to the temple of light, that will cure scars and aging, i am not certian though.  Also once lionhead puts out the DLC there is a way to cure scars.

If you are unsatified with your hero, make a new one...DUH!

Forget about the quests or taking on all the guards on in this game. The hardest thing in this game is getting knocked out. Stick out tongue [:P]
