    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

I LOVE Fable and Fable 2, def. my favorite Xbox/Xbox 360 game(s). But do think that they could improve some stuff.

-Piercings! If you can have tattoos, why can't you have facial and body piercings?

    -More tattoo options

-As said before, more unique looks for your spouses and the citizens of albion and your kids.

-More hairstyles. I don't like the hairstyle options for my heroin! Better hairstyles for the male and female character Tongue Tied [:S]

    -More clothing.

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

Bring back the old Will/magic system from Fable.

It was better beause the mana-usage added an extra slight challenge to things in moderating it so you couldn't just shoot out unlimited magic without end.

Plus there's the novelty of seeing your enemy rithing in agony as you continuously flow pure lightning directly into his body. Very satisfying indeed. If only they could work out enemy vocals of cries of agony and even the occasional "for god sake stop!" or "have mercy!". It would make decemating an innocent citizen much more satisfying indeed. Devious [:evious:]

I really love the game, thats because my aditions are details, like if you save your weapons they are sticked to your back,or dissapear in case of pistols.so I like if the character have a SHEATH.to put his sword or pistol.and the art of the same will change if the weapon is master or rusty and that.

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

I like how you can make your world different to other players worlds, but there should be more of this. I liked the statues, but they were a bit boring, it would be awesome to have huge statues, and ones of you killing beasts like dragons or a trolls dramatically. And to have statues of previous heroes (obviously that wasn't possible in Fable 2, but it could be in Fable 3). Towns, villages and the wild should change more often, and as you go on they should change more dramatically. Little settlements should become towns, and they should be changed differently than just through G o o d [Good] and E v i l [Evil]. Like for example a guild could be built for training either skill, will, or strength.

Another thing that should be in Fable 3. Items should be visible, when you give people items you should be able to see them holding the items and you should be able to see your hero eat food, and drink potions, this could also make fighting more challenging in a G o o d [Good] way, so you can't just bring your health straight back up without and trouble.

Armour and bows were awesome in Fable TLC they should bring them back. It also would be kick-ass to ride a horse, and a horse drawn cart or wagon.

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

In Fable 3 I'd like clothes that actually look like armour! Like, proper armour! And for the Will-lines to change colour depending on your alignment.

Two guns! Definitely two guns! And better guns. As it stands the only really G o o d [Good] skill-user weapon is the Red Dragon.

And for the Heroes Guild to have been re-built by G o o d [Good] ole' Sparrow! Seeing a massive building full of Heroes like they had in the original Fable would be awesome.

And the ability to permanently ruin things. Reinforce that 'actions with consequences' thing by making every little action permanent. Like if you go through Oakfield (for example) and kill off everyone it becomes a total ghost-town.

And another thing: destructable scenery. Not just some crates and stuff and doors. The lot. Like you can go through destroying buildings (with people inside) and burning fields and farmer's land. And it all stays fucked up.

And the ability to hire people as your lackeys or minions or whatever like you could do in Fable. Only this time instead of only being hired hands for a while you can set up, like, a base of operations for your own private army, kit 'em out in awesome armour and then use them to launch a massive assault on the rebuilt Heroes' Guild (if it is rebuilt like I want it to be, and if you're E v i l [Evil]) or just use them for other stuff (to be decided by the game's dev team).

And for a revised Will/Magic system. As it is in Fable 2 atm I don't much like it. Maybe not just like Fable but different and better than Fable 2.

And a better story. Both Fable games have been lame on the main quest storyline:

Fable 1: A bandit killed and captured my family and burned down my village. I want revenge.

Fable 2: An old man is trying to destroy the world. I need to gather 3 seemingly random people because a blind fortune-teller said only we can stop him.

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

Well, let me apologise to begin with; for if below has been written down before, you need not to read further.

But an idea I recently came across an idea that, I think, would really, really really really increase the experience of any future Fable games (SPOILERS may be there):

In Fable and Fable: TLC and Fable II, you spent your first hour of the game near your family.
After that hour, your family is killed, and you set off to seek revenge during the rest of the game.

BUT! When my "father" died and Theresa was captured and tortured in Fable (: TLC), and when my sister was shot by Lucien in Fable II, I was only like: "Hmm...".
I think people should be like: "Wth?! Did he actually just killed them? Oh boy, if I ever come across that *****, he'll regret ever coming out of his mother's womb..."

I don't think anyone really got near that feeling, and I think I may have discovered why:
the time spent with your "family" was just too short.

This is proven by the fact that the majority of G o o d [Good] people (me included) felt really bad after seeing their dog being shot. I know for one that I'll ALWAYS be picking "The Choice of the Few", no matter if I miss the other 2 Achievements because of that...

And why do we feel so sorry for our dog, an animal - but not our own kin?
    The time spent!

An hour with your family is nothing compared to an entire game with your dog!
You grow to rely on the dog, you like him, make sure he's okay, train him, play with him, care for him...

If you could extend the time you spend with your family before they die to, say, 3 - 4 hours, you'd be very sad and angry when you learn of their deaths...

I never really hated Lucien, although he is the "ultimate" bad guy in Fable II.
In fact, I almost felt sorry for him - having lost his family and all that.

When I lose my family - when I see them being shot by Lucien right before my eyes, don't you think I should be like: "no matter what you say, do or want - there's NO way you're getting out of here alive..." ?

So my tip to Lionhead, if only one, is:  'Extend the time you spend with your supposed family, before you let them die!'

Other than that, I really loved all Fable games - and still do!

What we do in life, echoes on into eternity.

Target spell-casting. Like the Rank 2 Dextrous Styles aiming system, but with spells aswell.

And environmental damage. So that, for example, if a group of enemies are stood in a shallow body of water you shoot a lightning bolt at the water and they all get toasted as a result, or, on the E v i l [Evil] side of things, you lock a bunch of people you hate in a building then burn it to the ground with them still inside.

    Fable 3 improvements
    1. the way it is
    2. the way it is
    3. the way it is
    4. the way it is

Fable 3 do not need improvements, only new areas and a new story. the length is G o o d [Good] and the legendary weapons is G o o d [Good] and the cloth is G o o d [Good] to. every thing is G o o d [Good]. Hope Lionhead do as they did with fable 2.

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

    RDan:
Seeing as Fable II was already a blast, more of the same =P By which I mean a longer story and more side quests, as far as that is possible.

Besides that, improvements on II to be implemented in III could include (I put *'s next to the ones I find more important/cooler Stick out tongue [:P]):

    - More attractive character models, so that we can have attractive spouses Lick [:lick:] Especially true for girls playing the game, I've heard plenty of complaints about the lack of men
    - More character models in general, they add so much personality to the game and are a tonne of fun Smily [:)]

-* Less little glitches! There are lots of little mishaps in Fable II, they come up every time I play the game. NPC names hanging in the corner of my screen despite me being miles away, bars with NPC names not going away when no longer focussing on them (LT). And right now my daughter is glitched! =( She just doesn't move at all, it's quite sad. Disappointed [:isappoin]

    - More clothing, weapons (longbows would be cool?), and the possibility of armour? Accessories such as necklaces or bracelets

    - * A character designer, where you could choose the facial features of your hero and possibly other aspects (build etc., although the skill/physique etc. mechanic is already great)
    - The possibility to use your own hero over XBL

    - Don't make this an MMORPG please Tongue Tied [:S]

Hope some of these things could get into III Big Smile [:D] Love the game Stick out tongue [:P] Post some G o o d [Good] ideas guys

I agree with all your points. Please do not make it an MMORPG!

    My two main concerns:

I think Sparrows interaction with the other heros could be more like the other popular ActionRPG on the Xbox. (Mass Effect)
Real in depth conversations or instead of just reading the Hero of Oakvale bring the book to Theresa or something. I think that kind of interaction is really missing and with Milo in development I could really see the potential.

Options for your hero's appearance! Just cause I want my girl to be the best Melee fighter I shouldn't be playing She-Hulk. Physical appearance could be scaled to how you want it while the actual skill points can raise.

    Other:
-More Love interests like Lady Grey or other Heros.
-More diverse housing with the option to arrange furniture.
-Better Money and Weapon incentives for side quests. Sometimes the jobs can be more tedious then anything.
-Skills or Bonuses tied to armor sets like in an Assassin suit you earn more points in skill.
-I'd like to see the Will bar back with maybe some of the old Fable skills. Physical Shield.
-Jack of Blades style end game boss battle.

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

This is True one thing maymake the Fable Franchise Longer Is To make it harder like on Fable 2 i liked the whole powerful thing but i thought that u wereway too powerful also along the lines of G o o d [Good] and E v i l [Evil] i thought it could improve i mean purity makes G o o d [Good] looking but if u r pure E v i l [Evil] then ur ugly as F@#% also the addition of the bow would be beasty maybe add a dragon like on *SPOILER* Fable TLC and definatley armour and atleast mention the hero from the past game a little better
By Dudeman dom "The save system was by far better in fable 1 as you were able to have multiple saves for one character" true but i hated the hero save one beccause maybe u wanted to world save so u didnt have to repeat a quest and with the hero save u could have a billion keys
They Made Crayons Non-Toxic So that U Could Eat Them

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

This might be meddleing with the whole fable story but i think it would be great if the sword of aeons came back into the game. Also if the co-op camera was improved instead of arguing who gets the camera angle each player had the same single player view. But i still think Fable is a great game and that we can expect great things from the series.

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

They Need To Bring Back The Fight Club and The Lock Pick Skills. And The Open Store's Like In Fable 1 So you could Steal what ever you want. Kicking in doors is fun untill you get cought pay the fine or kill the guards and pay an even Bigger Fine. Bring Back The Lock Pick skills. Thats The only thing i did not like about Fable2. Fable 2 is fun but the game would have been much more fun for me if they put in the lock picking skills. Fable 1 pick locks steal tune of crap then resell it back to the shop owner thats how I made my gold in fable 1. Sorry For The crapy Spelling.(BRIGBACK THE LOCKPICKING SKILLS)

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

Ok time for my little list of things i'd love to see. Sorry if i have the same ideas as a previous post no doubt I will.
I appreciate how much effort it takes to make a game and this is too much to expect but its worth considering some of these and for the record I LOVE Fable II

    - Repairable doors and windows on buildings

    - Better customisation options on house ability to move furniture or add new furniture.

    - Less small annoying glitches.

    - More things to do with experience after beating the game

    - Get rid of experience potions I think it makes it too easy.

    - Make difficulty settings on the game or atleast make it a little harder.

    - Storyline longer.

    - Option to leave your dog at home and for it to have puppies.

    - Horses would be nice, even if you cant ride them it would be cool to have them in the game.

    - Better looking people i mean seriously im not expecting people to be amazing but i don't want them all to be super ugly either.

    - more variety of clothing, armour and jewellery and ability to wear jewellery.

    - Ability to maybe stay under water for a limited amount of time.

    - ability to buy furniture in bulk its very annoying spending hours to try and decorate a town.

    - Make it harder to redeem yourself from being E v i l [Evil] in fable 2 if you do bad things all you have to do is pay a small fee at the temple of light and everybody seems to forgive you.

    - Choice of skin colour, dog type and facial features from start of the game.

    - Make choices more permanent like when i sacrifice my dog for the needs of the many sure i love my dog but i don't want the option to resurrect it when i made what i thought was a permanent decision.

    - More stature plinths I love those things.

    - STD's to actually affect you instead of just being meaningless.

    - Some challenging caves/dungeons with unique weapons/items in them so people have something fun to do after they beat the game.

    - Less places where you can become trapped such as behind doors and when people decide to stand in your way.

    - Make it a bit harder to make somebody love you I have 200 people in the game that want to marry me and quite frankly I've never met most of them.

    - Better co-op camera, I can't play with the current one it drives me mad.

    - Ability to keep your items in your house.

    - Make it harder to steal things like having to picklock a door to get in and chests with locks on ect.

    - Less loading spots, i'd be willing to wait for longer starting up the game so it loaded alot less midgame.

    - Sneaking, pickpocketing that sort of thing.

    - Ability to torch houses and after a reasonable ammount of time they would be rebuilt.

    - Some harder to kill monsters.

    - Get rid of augments that drain opponents health and give it to you, or make them ALOT weaker they make dying impossible.

    - Worse conciquence for dying than just a scar that you can remove with a potion.

    - More things like demon doors their very fun.

    - Concequences to spread out more for example if you burn a farmers crops the village is short of food so people complain of hunger and the produce shop is low on stock and ability to help the people.

    - More influence on whole towns.

    - More character models and speech options and the actual ability to comunicate with speech options.

    - Ability to throw things such as sticks for your dog, it gives much more satisfaction than the same rubber ball.

    - Stealing crops from farms I would find so amusing getting chased by a farmer for stealing his carrots Stick out tongue [:P]

Well that's my small imput hope it gets read and considered, I cant stress enough how much i want to be able to repair the doors and windows I break lol.

    Re: Fable 3 improvements list

OK, here is some things I'd like to see in Fable 3.

*Allow your character to close the door on your house to keep NPCS out.

*Larger variety of enemies to fight.

*More areas. How about some new areas in Albion that were not in Fable 1 or 2.

    *More quests.

*Jobs need to be improved. There boring and make me fall a sleep. How about a messenger job? How have X amount of time to get this message to someone.

    *More Demon Doors.

*Remove the damn Autograph cards. Running into a town and having a dozen kids run up and ask for your Autograph, is annoying!

*Larger homes. The homes in Fable 1 and 2 are cramped. How about large houses out in the middle of no where?

*Add an NPC in Fable 3 who lost her Teddy Bear  Stick out tongue [:P]

*Having NPCs following you around all over. OK, your a hero, they love you, they say some thing and then they move on. I don't need to have the whole town following me around asking me to marry them or what I am going to do next.

*Enemies you fight have a chance of dropping either a common or rare item. OR have them drop a random quest, that's unique.

*Have your child grow up and not remain at the age of 8 or whatever.

    *More Trolls!

*Better looking NPCS! Most of them are U-G-L-Y

*Need more characters who are gay, male or female.

    (I'll add more later)
