Thanks for the summaries Battle Sadly I didn't really get a idea of the overall picture, as in what's happening around the place (plots, schemes etc.). I get the feeling Master Fei is some sort of villain-guy. Yes, I have been gone for a long time.

I'm going to try and ease into it, run a little solo-storyline that may or may not end up interacting with the rest of you guys. I missed expressing myself creatively, so here I am.

But just you go ahead, LT, we have every confidence in you . But you, know there'll be even more confusion when you realise that one era (which we skipped) is yet to be written out . And you'll be finding that half of your citizenry has been killed by their risen ancestors .

I was actually going to summarize the current situation in this thread for people like you, basically explaining the exact situation. However I got friends over, so I had to postpone that. I'll explain you anything you need to know online when I see you.

The short story about Fei is that the gods teamed up to fight Kaiser, and in the process had to fight through the interesting and powerful servants he had working for him including:

1. The Dreamer: The largest of all shades, drawing energies from pain and negative emotions. A beast of epic proportions, using a small girl as its host no interact with the world more easily. It features a prominent role as the master of the shades and producer of "Dreamer Energies" in the form of a dark liquid.

2. The Shades: Beings formed from events of pain and sorrow, given influence into the world within Kaiser's influence. They are weak foes, but specialize in attacking the mind with illusions. Fused together they can form larger and more powerful foes, like the monster Mr. Bobo that controlled water and was hosted in the teddy bear of the Dreamer's host.

3. The Sohei: Eyeless super-humans with minds dedicated to fighting and following orders. Created by infusion with Dreamer Energies in a process developed my Kaiser's follower Lord Oda, a merciless genius.

4. Monks and a lycanthrope monk called The Emissary, now deceased.

5. Kaiser's daughter Xial, who joined the side to try to redeem her adoptive father.

6. The Slayer: The manifestation of every mortal that ever dared oppose Kaiser's rule. Has undergone the Sohei creation process and has possibly thousands of lives...

7. Kaiser himself: Malformed but epic manifestation of divine energy combined with power of The Dreamer. His only weakness was his daughter, and the fact his creed was divided in three elements of which he possessed only one.

8. Master Fei: Treacherous former henchman of The Kaiser, made blind and became old. Forced to teach Kaiser's daughter, whom he had previously meant to raise as his own.

The gods predictably killed everything in their path, including The Dreamer. Master Fei tricked them all, fusing Kaiser's Creed in Dreamer Energies when the god was beaten. He used it to usurp Kaiser's power, his control over the vast amount of Dreamer energies, and the control over the shades and Sohei. He killed Kaiser's daughter, to break him both in mind and body. The gods escaped, with BattleF08 taking the child that was host to The Dreamer as his own daughter.

Now Master Fei seeks to gather and awaken all the powers he can possibly can to his side, to forever end... probably everything that does not obey him, under the banner of improving the world. The remaining forces to stand against him are banding together, as he has already darkened the skies and his no doubt preparing the final stages of his plans. The gods are preparing for what is to come.


Of course that explains the story of Master Fei. There is more going on, from the swamplands, to the gigantic Tree Temples, to the gods shopping for items at Mount Doom's imp workshop, but those situations should be easier and more fun to get into yourself when you want.

I don't need to know the explicit back-stories of everything, just sort of the state of things. If anything happened to my territory that couldn't realistically be ignored in my description of it I should probably know too. Or I could just carry on, and sod the invariable inconsistencies, making for more fast-paced and care-free gameplay.

Ah, ye, might be interesting to know that you were attacked by Kaiser back in his hey-day (I think), you let Solar in your lands and Ceron had dumped the old Thread back in your land (I presume that is all still your land, seeing how you had a large part of the Thread, my odds are fifty-fifty ). Now, Solar might have buggered off in the meanwhile while the Thread might have been blown up by us Gods . Other than that: it's all peachy keen and clean .

Said thread is actually sitting quite comfortably in the area between messirs Terrible and Fei that I have presumptuously claimed in the name of Undeath, and is serving as something of an office building as the forces of darkness (though all parties involved would take issue with that label) conspire to seize power and do other sorts of mischievous things.

Solar is now wandering around in the Wild East being all mysterious-like. And shopping, apparently.

It's probably also worth noting that history is currently in a state of flux owing to the Ceron campaign (the one previous to this) having not yet been written. I am personally exploiting this opportunity to have my character's make absolutely outrageous claims about the past, "Hah, you would have thought you would have learned the last time you challenged me in one to one combat and I dropped a flaming boulder with sharks taped to it on your head." That sort of thing.

As of noteworthy, on my end all I can think of is the world being completely pitch black as the sky is blotted out by manifestations of . Other people no doubt have other noteworthy things, but as they are all subtle and clever, I couldn't possibly tell you what they're up to.

The Undead Thread will take a little to complete, since I will have to find out all the things established as canon during that storyline that haven't been played out yet, and find the fastest way to get us through it. There's no reason to keep that thread up for long. I figure we can end it with a few selective quality posts, by the end of next week or so, to finally put that storyline to rest.

Can't get it done this week unfortunately. Got one heck of a math-related test on Friday that I will not be spending enough time studying for already. At any rate, I'm impressed with how we've all come together and are posting and working together actively like this! Keep it up and let the times roll, I say.

Also Kaiser, get online once in a while! Haven't talked to you in ages!

Ah, I finally got a post in. Many thanks to Kaiser for the intervention - I was trying to think of an excuse to join up with the other gods without it seeming like a very embarrassingly obvious coincidence

Heheh. That would have been stretching it a bit too thin. Thanks again to Kaiser for providing me with a get-out clause (whether he intended it or not)

Just noting it for everybody to see, but I'll post whenever I have enough time (and not too much stress). With revisions, exams and a paper however, that may be a while. I've sent an e-mail to The Kaiser, so provided that he read it, he knows what to do should he want to continue before I finally post.

Depending on my luck, it can take anywhere from thursday to saturday in the next week before I respond. I could of course write a quick, crappy post, but I don't think that'd really be of any use. Furthermore, my mind wouldn't be into it, which would be a shame.
