This is a most excellent tutorial Tigereyes, detailed. I usually use DXT3 format, not 5, however, it still saves the alpha, but I'll try 5, maybe there's more colourdepth. You should not generate MIP maps on saving, unless another process restores it to normal, however... there's a screenshot indicating to do so in the tutorial.
I have a tutorial concerning overlays posted on the TMO Bar & Grill, but it lacks these great screenshots.
