Britain has 3 posts to comply before a prescission missle is shot up and will comestraight back down and obliterate the forces stationed within the plaza of the Basillica, this will result in minimal to no damage to the Vatican itself, save for the plaza.

And likewise, as the British claim, the Vatican is now a British colony, so attacking would not be declaring war on a neutral, independant nation.

We advise that the British comply, we do not want to start world war 3 as this will most certainly do if the UAE fires within the Vatican.  We would also like to state that there are italain troops stationed within the Vatican who will not be pulled out as they were stationed in the vatican before the Saudis took over and will remain there. The Scottish military has surged over the border into the two northern most English regions (shown on theI's map a few posts back as being under scottish control). Though the King has officialy confirmed that they are under Scottish Control, Harsh fighting still exists between Scottish soldiers and loyalists and British Soldiers and loyalists, the fighting is expected to continue for some time.

The missile "shield" is nearing completion, and will be fully installed within the next post. And hearing of the UAE's offer of "peace" to the other ally of Canada their forces are in, King Simon urges the English government to give a fairer counter offer, in that in return for all British land being abandoned by their forces half the nuclear weaponry of the country will be gifted to the UAE. And, in return for the return of all Italian land, King Simon will reward the UAE in some way of their choice (which will be negotiated). If this offer is declined, however, their presence in Italy and England will not go forgotten.

 

Following the recent start of the mass exportation of oil, Canada's economy has spiralled upwards and the people are now receiving the benefits of it. Quality of schooling has risen sharply, and a new program is being launched to cut unemployment - as the country is always in need of new skills, the most skilled university graduates with the correct qualifications will be offered free further tuition, and then a job working as a scientist/doctor of some description. Not only will this project help[ young minds reach their full potential, but with more jobs on offer that the earlier mentioned students would have taken people who don't receive this further tuition can move a further step up the employment ladder themselves, leaving more jobs open further down for newcomers to get in and head upwards.

SPIOMA CAPTURED!
Earlier today Bosnian police, in conjunction with UMC and Italian officials captured the wanted assassin Paulo Spioma outside of Sarajevo. Spioma is currently en route to Mecca to await trial and punishment. As many people know, this means that North Italy will be receiving the bulk of the peninsula upon All British troops on the on the peninsula surrendering, save for the regions of Lazio and Sicily, which will remain under UAE authority. Although when discussing the possible return of Lazio, Tjai has made it clear that it is a possibility, although not likely to happen at the present time.

Canada has recently made an offer of peace, mixed in with an ultimatum. Wishing to maintain peaceful relations with Canada, Tjai had this to say:

"We understand what you have to say, however, Britain attacked innocent civilians in our nation without provocation, that is an act of war and oppression. We will not tolerate it, and we will do what we have to to ensure it does not happen ever again, to anyone. This war may seem contemporary, but you must understand the deep roots of this war. Nearly every former colony of the British empire has given us their support, be it in money, weapons, economic backing, or just a word of support. Unwarranted attacks such as theirs are signs of imperialism, and no one will tolerate the restoration of the British empire.

 They believed they had a right and a responsibility to attack us(illegally under UN law) due to an issue that was none of their concern. They were not in any alliance with North Italy... We will not risk it happening again at any cost, and if that means the decimation of Great Britain, then so be it. Citizens in Northern Italy were overjoyed today, to hear the news of the capture of Spioma, meaning Italy will soon be nearly fully restored. Although there is still some turmoil over the delayed, if even, return of Lazio, but the president has assured the people that in time everyhting shall be restored. We now only wait for the British to pull out of the rest of Italy and espaecially evacuate the Vatican immediatly.

 

In Military news, We are designing a new style of war ship that will blow away anyhting we have ever seen before, according to the engineers working on the project, but president Usfaldo mentioned that our engineers can get a little over dramatic when they are working on new machines.

In addition to that our tanks have been upgraded to semi-automatic fiireing technology. and their top speeds have been increased from 45 mph to 65

 

In economics, our gas prices have dropped dramatically due to our new oil trades with Canada and the average city living citizen is now saving an estimated 4,000 dollars a year.

We have also begun restoring our fishing market, a strong part of Italy's income in addition to many other exports.

I have greater status than you and so does Iwy.Also Iwy took your lands fairly but from now on make sure to consult GM for the results of battles and war, both of you. Aside from this we have successfully upgraded our nuclear weapons and we now have fully functioning satellites and launch systems. We have prepared multiple nukes to be launched and our status in the world has increases considerably because of this achievement. We are now part of the list of countries with nuclear weapons. We are now beginning research on nuclear power and building nuclear power plants.

We have partially reconstructed most of the Pakistani region of British India. We also ask help from the UMC to help us rebuild Pakistan. We won the war but it came at the price of great damage, damage we wanted to avoid. However we estimate that in the next year Pakistan will be completely reconstructed. Also we are building many new cities to accommodate our large population.

We have formed a greater alliance with China and we are considering forming a greater alliance with them. This would include sharing our military and economy. The border between us would be open to travel as well. We will benefit from this greatly and it may open doors for the future...

15,000 Reinforcements have arrived by plane in England and are now occupying the counties of Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Sussex, Surrey, and Monmouthshire. This means UMC forces are now within 20 miles of London


I am also proposing that from now on that a defender in any attack must state the outcome of the battle in their next post, or it will be assumed that the attacker won (exception will be given to a defenders post posted just seconds after the attackers, as the defender did not have time to read the attackers post.) if the defender claims that they have won, remaining troops must be in proportion to the attackers forces, and the attacker have the chance to withdraw a portion of the troops.

Edit: Figgy, I dont think GM's should be able to determine the outcomes of wars, as they will be biased towards themselves if they are in one. as I said, I recomend a next post oppertunity for the defender to decide, if they fail to do so,it should be assumed the attacker has won.

I agree, British Indian forces have arrived in Vietnam to help the county fight off rebel forces. The civil war currently going on in the country reminds many of the Vietnam War.

Didn't I say Wii was one ? Sorry, my mistake. This isn't anything to do with recent events by the way, I sent a PM asking him if he wanted to be one before the first page was through.

The point of GMs very rarely has anything to do with wars. I can't remember how much detail I went into in the OP, but GMs are people who are going to be making a decision if someone's going too quickly or not. Obviously, in the event of a war especially, a GM could be biased, which is the main flaw in the idea. GMs only decide the outcome of a war (but really not even that) if someone's been advancing too quickly through their territory, having too powerful a military, etc. The whole point of them is that I don't need to make a decision on my own in which I could be biased.

Now, even though he was wrong in saying that he could have you kicked from the game (that'll probably never happen that anyone's removed, but if it does all the info's in the OP and I don't think I need to go over it again), he does have a point in that you moved very quickly through his territories. It's partly his own fault (Sorry wii, specifically this past night [night for me anyway]), but in the interest of fairness I think it would be best and easiest for everyone if we just said that you've invaded a smaller part of the country. The southern coast heading north a mile or two, for example.

But you're a RPer. Chances are, you'll be back to your current position relatively soon, so it shouldn't be much bother (sorry again Wii, but TheI just has a lot more experience in this RP).

 

And as for the information about attacks and who decides the outcome, Iwy's hit the nail on the head. Someone attacks, the defender then decides the damage done. If they post but don't mention the attack before the attackers posts again, the attacker wins that battle, though obviously sustaining casualties. But like figgy mentioned, the defender could easily jut say the attack was unsucessful all the time, which is why we have the GMs to keep it fair, to decide if someone keeps doing this unfairly.

King Simon has announced that the Canadians will not be getting involved in the war between the UAE and England, but also urges that other countries - whatever side they're fighting for - do the same, for the sake of preventing a massive war, one which the Canadians would eventually and regrettably be dragged into.

The US surrounds England and sends in Marines to capture the coasts. Nuclear subs are in the area.

The Scottish Military is still encountering fierce resistence from British troops in Cumbria and Northumberland, but it is reported that the Army is making progress. King Thomas has offered King Louis a "seperate peace" detailing peace with Scotland in return for the counties of Cumbria and Northumberland in return King Thomas will try and persuade President Tjal to accept a peace treaty with England.
