This is a somewhat different release for me - its quite serious for starters. Hated is a socially focused piece delivered by the all so eloquent 'Skid' who, as you will see, has his own views on the subject.

Very - he reminds me of classic British low-lifes from the 90s and early 00s like in Trainspotting, Lock Stock and Football Factory. Scumbags who are somehow very articulate about their situation and what they think. This makes them more scary than the stereotype because it's clear they actually have a brain.

Excellent acting - although it should have been "[play nice now!]" and not "[be polite!]" (he doesn't look like the sort who would pander to American tourists who entered his pub - he's proud to be British I reckon!).

The final "Oi!" and the freeze frame were a great ending! - music too in this film.

Anyway this was made with the original the movie not the expansion so yeah i would have make it better but the expansion is sold out lol and you might get a bit confuse as i said before this was made for me and my friends

I liked that alot - great performance from Officer Darren as he goes around killing scumbags. He had that seen-it-all-before tired cop voice down pat.

Very well put together, it leaves you wanting to see more of Officer Darren Cole in action - well, there's something very appealing about a no-nonsense cop who believes in bullets more than ASBOs (Anti Social Behaviour Orders). use of lighting in this film too as day turned to dusk. Music also did its job well. The locations were well used too.

A very tidy film with a classy central performance.

A thoughtful piece of work about the consequences of domestic abuse, but also about the power of friendship as well.

In the end, we see how - with the arrangement of certain objects in his flat, and the unwashed clothes - Robert is in a very dark place emotionally, leaving the ending open. Will his friend be enough to help lift him out of the depression that has consumed him?

Superb use of the camera in this film - the first-person violence against young Robert was truly disturbing. The grainy shots representing horrible events in the past worked well.

Very acting by all concerned, with suitable music which never drew attention to itself. The only minor nitpick was with young Robert's hyper-ventilating, that sound effect didn't really work for me, but that really was the only flaw in this film.

Excellent movie.
