    Mahna:
This game just sounds like the Sims so far though.

But the Sims with an AI so G o o d [Good] that it would be on Scientific America or Nature?

Those are two huge science journals, and if the breakthrough is that profound then I do wonder what his band of merry men have managed to achieve ...

    Speculation:

You are born and then you go about "educating" yourself as you grow, teaching yourself how to interact, how to behave. The AI learns this ... I mean an AI that learns for real would be something that would get in a science magazine for sure ...

It does sound like it's a The Sims type affair, but after the creature in Black & White and the Dog in Fable 2, then I really think this is going to be focused about a more Tamagochi esque idea but with the AI to rope you in and give you a connection to the creature/person you create ...

Mind you that said, I am just wondering what the next thing PM has been working on is, wont be dissapointed by anything as I think I own every game he's ever sold commercially ... lol Stick out tongue [:P]

    Sam:
Fable 2 delayed because of GTA IV's release! Big Smile [:D]

The name for the next game is called "Secret Project:Confidential". Not the best of names but i suppose it could be cool.

Probably some sought of a spy game with a name like that.

It is in the top right corner-- > http://www.lionhead.com/AllProjects.aspx

Yes,I know. It is not a game...

If you can't do the time then don't do the crime. Then again you can just post in here i suppose ->

Looks like a physics engine to me, more than a game, as they used Havoc for Fable 2 I wouldn't be too surprised to find that they were building Porject X around a physics engine based on The Room ...

Probably totally wrong though Wink [;)]

What I'd love to see is people from companies like Lionhead using XNA Game Studio for prototyping some interesting demos and then putting them up on Community Games for everyone to play with.

Re: Dimitri - Fact or Fiction?

Well F2 is out now ... and the community will be buzzing for comments on the new project.

I mean, project confidential is just there to juice up everybody's attention anyway.

So I expect small clues or hints in the coming months but we'll have to wait for the F2 aftermath before we get an official comment or announcement.

Whatever they are doing on the Blue room is going to remain hush hush for a couple of weeks more.

My guess on what they are doing on the F2 floor is still F2 related ... eventually some DLC, maybe patches ... they need to make an evaluation of the game's success (or not) and decide how they will proceed ...

Will there be a TLC or will they make a PC version ... what improvements do we carry on to F3, etc, ...

Underneath it talks about "Lionhead Created the earth. An AI experiment gone wrong but it'll have to do."

Perhaps a further nod in the direction of AI controlled characters, As suggested by Teucer:
You could interact with somebodys character, see them and their world, without the necessity of them being online. It would be something like Second Life with a more persistant world. AI characters taking over for real people would allow people to 'relive their life.' Imagine something as ubiquitous as facebook or myspace and then everyone was on an MMO, all the time.

This would indeed be a massive leap but doesn't really link in the tech demo "The Room", perhaps this really was just a technical demonstration or maybe it has been in planning to take advantage of the new PhysX cards available?
