Yes, its a great new technology and most likely the team of lionhead the employees who also have Black & White mana in their hearts must've realized that.
Although i still like Black & White on the PC.
I read a couple ideas but not all of them because there are soo many of them. Because the possibilities are really almost inifinite. However if i could make some suggestions then it would definetly be these:
Resources
Minor Miracles [stones, wood, food, water]
Major Miracles - (wild) animals [deers, wolves] (must be preformed over a forest) [fish, whales] (must be preformed over the sea) [cows, chicken, sheep, goats] (must be preformed near a farm)
I also thought about some other new miracles the ones that we humans all want when someone isn't amoung us anymore.
Major Miracle - revive the dead
This one should drain ALOT of mana but as you would figure out...it would have a massive impact on the people who witness that power / miracle.
There are so many things i could suggest but these last 2 are things i would really wish to be in the next game if it will be there:
# Major Miracle - take a human life form - and look through your own creations through the eyes of a mortal person.
Whether you still can preform miracles as a human (teleport) pretty much as a God in a human life form can be discussed but i think it would make the greatest miracle to see (perhaps through first person view) people actually bowing down to you after they realized that you (in flesh) preformed a miracle or miracles.
The only limitations the acting God would have are:
- Limited view (you can no longer see the entire world because you are stuck on the ground)
- You can die in human form. (And will automatically return in spiritual God form)
- You might and can definetly lose faith if the people worshipped you as a human and you died in front of them.
- Your animal, your pet might not reckoqnize you in human form and if trained incorrect he might eat you, hurt you or perhaps pick you up and drop you some place else (perhaps trying to make you a diciple)
As much as i would like God Mode in human life form to see there are tons of other suggestions you could add to it but hopefully we might trigger a move. Regardless of my ideas...Black & White 3 is and remains the best idea.

I'm new and I've been reading the thread and I have to say that there are some really ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) ideas but lets face it there obviously not planning to make another black and white anytime soon or ever for that matter.
I do like the ideas though more creatures really would be ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) . And in my opinion 1 was a lot better then 2. The impressiveness took all the fun out of it, they should have just stuck with the belief system and added the war element.
I also think that they should have kept all the old miracles from both 1 and 2 and add more effects to them, like the lava adding more land when it hardens in the water. And I also think that taking away the food and wood miracles was a bad idea, it made it a lot harder to fulfill the villagers requests.
There's more but I'll post it another time when I remember it.

mabye even an option to take the "tykes"from black and white 1
and seeing the return of the temple would be just...great
and a customisable heaven and hell would be ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) aswell ![Smily [:)]](/emoticons/emotion-1.gif) imagine a ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) god throwing a theif down a cliff
and multiplayer...
the tribute MUST go...
and the creature behaviour from b@w 1 must return...
and modling the landscape removing\adding cliffs using lava to expand the land etc...
also the ability to zoom out to the moon would be ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif)
and moving things between lands...

It would be awesome to let you choose what god you want to be, like aztec, or greek, or chinese god, and that when a god speeks, u can select out of like 2 - 5 lines of text to reply, such as: God: You're will be destroyed, without even having a army! You: -I do have an army! -You will need one! -I got bigger defenses that you! And ofcourse more creatures, and the ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) - ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) system should be expanded, more army types, like, ranged: bow, crossbow, spear, shield throwing, etc Melee: spear, sword, sword+shield , full armor, basic armor , etc Mutch more buildings would be great also

I would like the new Black & white game to have a creature that you can raise as a pet. "What are you talking about?" I hear you ask... "It was the core concept for the previous two games!" Well, for Black & White, certainly.... but in B&W2 your pet became more of a tool than an actual creature. In BnW you would spend ages trying to get your dumnass tiger to learn a fireball spell and just when you think he understands what you want him to do, he runs off to pick up a nearby pig and stroke it before looking up at you quizzically. ![WTF [:wtf:]](/emoticons/wtf.gif) - At which point you would slap the absolute sh!t out of it until it was black & blue. I recall my creature going for long strolls around the land when left unleashed... I am still unclear about what it's objectives were - perhaps it was simply exploring. Once, being the melicious ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) god that I am, decided to block my creatures in its own pen for kicks... After bit of stumbling around and whining my pet tiger thought it would be best to blast away the obstruction - along with my temple ![Surprise [:O]](/emoticons/emotion-3.gif) From time to time my creature would get angry at me... Pick up a nearby object and throw it.... AT ME. By which point i gave it a black eye ![^^ [^^]](/emoticons/^^.gif) Or there would be a time where my creature would just stand there and watch me throw a villager at a rock... Thinking this was the right thing to do, my tiger ran into the town picked up a villager and began to toss villagers at that rock. I never noticed this, but after a while I saw a rather large pile of bodies scattered around that same rock. It took me a while to figure out what had happend. But by the end of playing Black & white I had gotten used to my creatures various quirks and eccentricities... And tamed what was once a curious messed up little sh!t to a great companion that would try to make freinds with other creatures... *SLAP*.... That would set out to kill other creatures, Impress towns and take care of the villagers. In BnW2 there wasn't the same attatchment, or commitment toward raising your creature... It went right from puppy/cub/fawn to tool. You bought their spells&attributes instead of taking the time to teach them yourself. And you basically moved the sliders about indicating what you wanted it to do. It really sucked actually. Lionhead....Pandering to the casual gamer and those complaining that their game is too hard... I miss the critters from the original. Did they use neural networks? Is that what instilled the illusion of life & personality into my pet? Was the same technique used in BnW2?

First of all I loved Black and White and Black and White 2, but I felt that both games were missing something that the other game had, so I think in order to make a really 3rd game I will list the really ideas from game one and game two, then list potential new ideas.
Black and White: To start off this list I think I should say I was very disappointed that there were only 6 creatures to choose from in black and white 2. What happened to the almost absurd amount of creatures from the original black and white? What happened to the bear, the horse, the zebra, the gorilla, the chimpanze, the crocodile, the rhino, the chicken, the leopard, the sheep, the polar bear, and the mandrill? I know alot of them were basically clones of another creature with a slightly different appearence, but the were still awesome, I remember debating in my head "Should I get the polar bear or the brown bear?". I think Black and white 3 should have even more creatures then black and white, I wanna see elephants, hyenas, snakes (don't ask me how), wolverines, geckos, lizards, porcupines and bunnys whatever you can think of. Second I want to be able to enter my temple again! I don't know about you guys, but I was happy when I was able to enter my temple save from the inside, look at my creature, etc. I loved my temple. I also want to be able to get my creature monumentally huge like it the first one.
Black and white 2: Armies, impressiveness, tribute, epic miracles, toys for the creature, god building, creature building, specific tasks with the leash, better interactions with villagers. The reason I didn't go into great detail with this one is everything pretty much speaks for itself as to why it's a idea.
Black and White 3 (New Ideas): I would like even better interactions with villagers and in perticular with armies, everyone remembers (or at least I do) how you could tattoo your creatures in the first game I say we make it so that from the inside of the temple you can customize your army's appearence, think about it, you could turn your armies into gladiators or celts or spartans. Vastly improved creature fights would be the next place to go, I don't know how you would go about doing it just figure it out.
I can't think of anything else if I do I'll tell ya, tell me what ya think of what I've got so far.
Where's the bear in BW2?

Oh I really like that idea about creating your custom creature..... Like cross-breeding a lion with a cow and get some crazy messed up mix of the two.... Haha... Oh that would be awesome. Creating a real f**ked up monstrosity or an uber cute bunny-chicken....
Ofcourse merging creatures would alter stats.... And you could merge a lion and a tiger to get an awesome fighter, but the intellegence stats of your resultant creature would be pretty low.... Or combining a tiger and a chimp to get some mediocre creature that can handle itself in a fight aswell as have some brains.
But, as I say i much prefer BnW1 over BnW2... I enjoyed BnW2 - for a while... It's visuals were fantastic, aswell as the miracles, but the battles, the creature all started to show signs that they were lacking.
In BnW1 I could teach my creature to do anything with enough patience... I taught it to catch fireballs that enemy gods would throw at it by hurling fireballs & rocks at it myself... Cruel? Perhaps... but it taught it to be a better fighter. I felt my creature had a real personality in the original where you would devote time to teach it new tricks and spells... As I've said before the pet you have in BnW2 is more like a tool than anything

I would really love BW3 to be a mixt between the original BW and "Spore" the game.
It would make an amazing game, instead of a single island, it would make continents, zooming out would show the entire planet. You could send your armies to attack other villages in other continents by building a dock, and creating transport ships (sea battle wouldn't be a bad ideea also) That way the game would last longer.
Another cool thing Spore have is the Creature Creator, you can customize your own creature from head to toes... Who hasn't played the game should atleast look it up on YouTube to get a general opinion.

i think costumization is the key heare
abilety to chose a tribe at the start or create a entirely new one whit attributes like hardend warriors + side better warriors - side poor farmers or silly ones like karma sutra masters + side loads of ofspring - die at a yunger age engeniers + better buildings sooner and better eficiency of the building - the building cost is higher .....
the abilety to chose more of these traits or none at all witch makes them average in evrything.
the abbilety to create the staritng traits of your creature and the species like srt, int, cha, wis, .... sred an amount of staritng points on them like giving them a high int would enable the creature to learn spells faster and cast more of them, str to land blows whit more damage lift hevier stuff... after the creation the abileties would get higher depending on the ammount of work the creature does on them if the creature casts loads of spells its int will get higher, if it entertains loads of villigers its cha would rise.
a temple dedicated to you and costumisable at the start and trough out the game, rooms like the creatur pen the libery .... and whit the evolvment of the ppl new rooms become availible.
somthing like a bible for your peapole that enables you to tell them what makes you happy and what makes you mad so they focus on the tasks that make you happy more ore if their faight is dwindeling more on the oposite tasks witch makes you want to punish them.
a dynamic and chanigng world where you can be atacked on a previusly concoured land by a rival god. the abilety to appoint sargents on these lands to oversee them for you.
the abilety to have other gods work for you marry you, giving you more power and abileties like creating beasts monsters .... ant they can evan turne on you...
more miracles and getting stronger whit the more ppl you have, (if a fireball has enough power to destroy 1 house at the start of the game, it would have enough power to destroy a medium sized village at the end of the game. ) comulative power from all the villiges from all of the world.
the abilety to manipulate the land itself at a relativly high cost of mana sinking the land to the botom of the sea and raising itfrom the bottom .... only in youer influence area ofcourse
and loads of other stuff i dint think of would be grate.
and ofcourse if you would anounce the development of bw3 would be fantastick

I would think it would be great if there was a skirmish in it, because it is need ed in Black and white 2 i would say, and that you can like research up in time, but still it will be in the theme theme, like spears and magic, it would be odd, if suddenly you were in the future with airplanes and that.

I have a few ideas as well:
1. Get to chosse what corlor you want to be.
2. you first start of at your homeland and if you want to go battle anoter god you go to them or they come to you.
3. Defitly what tribe you want to be here is a few ideas of tribes: Egyptian, Roamans, Greek.
4. Get to make your own mircals only on your land of corse not on another homeland.
5. Get to go into you temple aging.
6. No tribut that just rund the game.
7. Get to chosse weather you want to be or and if so then you can get specaiul bargins.
8. Boats on it so you can travel around just the island you are on.
9. Vortexts aging the sam size that we can now open up if we have aerf pryer power.
10. No levels!.
11. You can make a alliance with a god if he comes on to your island or you go on to his. And he dose not get destroy by anthor god and dose not give you a chance to help!
12. Your creatar is the alliment as you.
get bigger better mircals: plague, volcano, mage storm. super mega mega blast. That mircal would need so much pryre power that it would take ages to get it destrose a hole land!

you get to cruse a land as well like nemis did in BW1 on land you get to do them you can cruse of ness or ness.
13.If you start and land and you are not doing you can go back to your homland throght a vortex but if you want to come back a acculy your vilage was not that tron down. but you left you may come back to someone else vilage another gods village!
14. Get to make you homelands landscape the way you want it!
14a. You could say that is to much but go on to You Tube and type "Milo Lionhead" Then tell me they can do 14!

I had it my way PM's original idea with simplicity and straight-out vs.
would prevail over everything. I think that we should take a step in
the other direction and instead of creating new military units, making things more
realistic etc. We should focus upon making the game structure more advanced
with a better game engine instead of a recycled B&W I & II engine.
If you look at Black and Whites' basic foundations what do we have? There’s
a creature whose image reflects you (god) whether that be or ,
there is an island from which you cannot travel to other lands (during game
play), there is an opposing god whose religion is trying to overtake yours and
finally there are free people who can be influenced by either side. To me
these fundamental basic foundations make B&W what it is. Sure we can
make the game in the "21st century" or make new siege weapons and
battle ships, but what would happen to those basic foundations? They would
probably be still there but not very fundamental. Would we have another Age of
Empires or Total War game on our hands? I mean seriously where would the
originality be?
I think that instead of changing the game we should make its foundations
better. I think that the freedom from which the game already has is perfect...
there is no population limit like other games (exceptions for when your PC
slows right down) and best of all your only restriction for building is
your influence ring which can go anywhere anyway. The island size should
be substantially greater and the AI should be far more in-depth. lace>Readinglace> over some
of the other posts, people seem to like the idea of the creature being able to
grow larger and more powerful, however where does it stop...
I think the game should be structured around the ideas based in the first game
with the Norse's involvement being far more intricate; however I do like
playing the Greeks. Perhaps if you could go any civilization or if there was a
random map generator where you could play as anyone instead of the standard 10
maps which were issued in the second B&W which took me two days to beat and
three and a half years to wait for the game to be released.
B&W II was a let down nonetheless hopefully if and when PM decides to start
creating the game he doesn’t go overboard and destroy what had the potential to
be, in what my opinion is the best game ever to be made.

better. I think that the freedom from which the game already has is perfect...
there is no population limit like other games (exceptions for when your PC
slows right down) and best of all your only restriction for building is
your influence ring which can go anywhere anyway. The island size should
be substantially greater and the AI should be far more in-depth. lace>Readinglace> over some
of the other posts, people seem to like the idea of the creature being able to
grow larger and more powerful, however where does it stop...
I think the game should be structured around the ideas based in the first game
with the Norse's involvement being far more intricate; however I do like
playing the Greeks. Perhaps if you could go any civilization or if there was a
random map generator where you could play as anyone instead of the standard 10
maps which were issued in the second B&W which took me two days to beat and
three and a half years to wait for the game to be released.
B&W II was a let down nonetheless hopefully if and when PM decides to start
creating the game he doesn’t go overboard and destroy what had the potential to
be, in what my opinion is the best game ever to be made.

bringing khazar back from the void is a must...
and also that playing as a human idea is very
mabye even an option to take the "tykes"from black and white 1
and seeing the return of the temple would be just...great
and a customisable heaven and hell would be aswellimagine a god throwing a theif down a cliff
and multiplayer...
the tribute MUST go...
and the creature behaviour from b@w 1 must return...
and modling the landscape removing\adding cliffs using lava to expand the land etc...
also the ability to zoom out to the moon would be
and moving things between lands...

Black would be needed & White 3 on 2 epic miracles stronger, better miracle these would be Genesis or Eden Wonders.
The 1. Heaven Wonder: -this miracle would be able to perform the act of Heaven summons it on an area with a certain size and the heavenly plants bloom there peace and happiness are inherited by the people_nation the sky changes the trees but, this miracle would be time constraint.
The 2. Hell Wonder: -this magic would summons the hell, demons they climb out from the land soaked with the blood skeletons and souls plead this miracle would affect a certain area so for calming down, than the former one but, with so many differences that the suffering is the torment consists in the centre.
onto equal one these it you are Genesis on Eden miracles. even more miracles are needed into the game like this, than Muttering stone -this would be able to do it , that the divine hand would be able to pull the stone or rock continuously with the left egérgom lasting continuously. could be special with this to form formations of the single piece of the continent and when made onto 2 minutes turns into dust. oh what you say to these ideas?

I have sent Lionhead a message why they said there would be a Balck and White 3 and now thyey have taken the back so I should have a message back soon to find out if there is everm going to be a Black and White 3 and did you know that Black and white 1 was acully in the guinis book of records for most complex game back then now we are wanting a balck and white 3 I am still thinking of a few ideas but they should all be on soon!
I really would like a BW3

some suggestions: I have read and noticed that Black and white lacked alot of the true "god" aspects that the origional had. I think more godly things should be implimented. Such things: pandemics, more mericals, etc...
Also, a sort of "sand box" mode that has multiple "tribes", ofwhich are not allied and sort of run themselfs so you can watch them grow and fight amongst themselvs and just help them or wreak havok on one them if you want.
