*Update*

Got some more great news! I've been editing Aspirations for a bit this morning and I've just realised going through it there's hardly anything to be done at all. The sound levels are very audible, a lot of the vo's are on the same level and so is the music and sound-effects. So, this now makes my pethate of doing the sound for every movie really easy! YAY! Also, going through the movie today and looking for the errors, faults rather in the movie, I didn't really see anything alarmingly bad. I have cut down a bit of dialogue in one scene so you miss seeing a bad technical thing [you would be able to see Brad's brown hair and he isn't actually in that scene, the shot's on Judy [played by Lucindamc123] and you can slightly just see Brad's hair come into view, which is bad I think]. It doesn't matter in the end as I had to cut down the dialogue anyway [from "Yes, I do have a problem with you" to "Yes, I do"]. Anyways, the movie is pretty much complete. I just got to finish from where I left off 2 months ago putting all the vo's and sound-effects and music [which are all still there] in the right places. So, I know people can't stand release dates and you know, the whole thing of "It's coming out tomorrow" and so on but I'm deadly serious. There are a few vo's I'm missing from a friend of mine, who is on skype a lot [will ask him tomorrow about it] so if I had those now the movie would be out tomorrow. That's just to show you how serious I am. Not that I can't wait for his vo's or anything as I wasn't expecting this at all, that I would be this close so early on as it was supposed to come out July time. So, to conclude the movie [Aspirations] will be coming out 10th May [Sunday], next Sunday. See you on the 10th!

Hey there everyone. Just wanted to bump this thread again to tell you it's official! The movie [Aspirations] is coming out May 10th. Yesterday, I had a great session with Mollyrulz9999 recording his vo's for his part in the movie. It was a lot of fun directing him, telling him how I wanted it and he really delivered exactly what I wanted.

BTW, in terms of editing it's all looking . I cut down some dialogue just as it seemed a bit too much in places like "Yes, I do", instead of "I've got a problem with you Judy. Yes, I do". It just seemed to make more sense for Sally to say "Yes, I do" to Judy asking the question "Have you got a problem with me Sally? So, given all that, cutting down snippets of dialogue, the movie will be a tincy bit shorter than it was before. Yesterday, I got up to 23 minutes with all the footage, plus 2 minutes for the opening and ending credits so 25 minutes overall. To be honest, I have no idea where the hell 29 minutes came from last time editing it as I went through the whole script [yesterday] whilst editing it a bit as it's all done [cutting scenes wise] and noticed I wasn't missing a thing. So, yup, I'm pretty confused about that, how it was 29 minutes before. Very weird in my opinion. BTW, on the sound side of things. As I said yesterday, everything pretty much is on the same level but some music tracks are noticably louder than others over some vo's [making them hard to hear], so I'll sort that out today.

Anyways, yup, the movie is still set for May 10th. If it isn't out on May 10th, you have the right to hunt me down!

So, glad I got to finish it off now instead of Late June. To be honest with you, I looked through it yesterday really surprised that everything was on the same level sound wise. It was all [pretty much apart from a few bits of music and a few vo's] on the same level and very easy to hear, so I was very impressed by that, you know, not having worked on the sound at all and it was on the same level mostly anyways. Great stuff! It makes my job much easier as I said yesterday, which is why it's coming out next weekend opposed to Late June as I usually take a month on sound, it always takes me ages, not this time for a change though. YAY!

*Update*

I have now exported the whole movie as a big WMV file [376MB, omg!] without the opening and ending credits [as that would of have taken longer]. I decided in the end last night it would be better to edit the film in an outside editor. By that, I mean all the editing for the movie is done, it's just I thought it would be cool to put it together as a whole in an outside editor. I've never used this outside editor before, getting the grips of it so.... yup, I'll be fine, just need to experiment with it a bit to get a few things in it work. The movie I exported was 23 minutes and 31 seconds. So, when the credits [opening and ending] are all put in it'll be about 25 to 26 minutes. The release date is still on for Next Sunday but it could be out next Saturday [May 9th]. I'll keep you guys updated.

*Update*

Hey there everyone. Aspirations is going fine. Only thing is the big file I exported on Sunday seems to have a bit of a sound delay near the end of it. So.... I'm going to export the other half of the movie [the sound delay seemed to be start around half way through] and put it together with the first half [which is fine, no sound delay] in a cool outside editor I'm using. BTW, I won't be around much on Saturday and Sunday, so I'm going to release the movie really early on Saturday, like 9am or 10am [before I go off to this run in Marlow I'm doing which I completly forgot about till today, lol]. So, just thought I'd update you guys on what's going on. The movie is still going ahead. To be honest, I was expecting that this movie would have a hard time exporting as it's 23 minutes long. So.... not surprised the Movies acted as it did. I've seen from my experiences of making each film [of the 12 as highlighted in the tribute as is this one] that only CC4 has encountered this sound delay problem [which was 1 second long]. So.... yup. It's all coming together nicely. The sound delay thing doesn't put me off finishing it, it's practice doing it early on, like last Sunday. I will say that the sound is really great. So proud with that, glad I don't have to sort anything out in that department as that always kind of puts me off finishing them, not in this case. YAY!

See you on Saturday, really early for the premiere. As they say, the early bird gets the worm, well.... in this case anyways.

Hey there everyone. I have some bad news. I don't see it coming out May 9th now. I've been exporting the movie and been having sound delay problems. I even cut the movie in two today and still I'm having sound delay problems. So.... unless I get this sorted out within the next 2 days the movie will be out. If not I'm going to have to postpone it till my exams are over [Late June]. I apologise for all the build up. To be honest, I thought this might happen but I hoped it wouldn't. I'll let you know if anything progresses.

Hey there everyone. Well.... it's been a week today since I released the tribute of my TMO career [2006-2009] and I must say I'm very happy with how the response has been in the first week. It's been very positive and very nice. So, if you've been a fan of my films and haven't seen it yet then do so right now [if you can or later when you've got some free-time]. Aspirations is still not coming out tomorrow, unless I figure something out tonight. I'll let you guys know what's going down. To be honest, I did get annoyed uploading my tribute last week with the problems I had uploading "This video is too long" and so forth so I'd rather I didn't run into the same issue when uploading Aspirations soon.

First off I loved the tribute very creative and well informative of years worth of projects.  In fact there's a few older films I've never seen of yours.  I'm going to checkout your youtube account to see if you uploaded them.

I'm sorry to hear about the sound bug it can be a real pain.  I remember there was a useful thread for the sound bug on the old forums.  Might want to perform a search..

Once Aspirations is done and your career is finished what are you going to do with all that free time?? LOL!

Talking of which, you can download the tribute on my filefront if you want to. I did upload CC2 on my filefront but it was taken down due to something silly like not enough views [which I thought was very weird]. Yeah, it is a pain, sound synch problems. Ah, yes, I saw a thread by Rik vargard which looked very helpful. However, I've got a solution about the sound synch problem. I'm going to cut up the movie into 6 parts, 4 minutes or so long and put them one after another in an outside editor. I've got the titles sorted as well, so we're all ready to go. Yeah, lol, true. I do have some very interesting news about that. There's this horror short story I wrote for an English assignment 4 years ago and I still have the book I wrote it in. So.... I'm going to do this horror short live action! Going to start work on it this August. It'll be fun casting people and getting all the blood effects [it's got zombies in it!]. Yup, I can't wait to getting it out either. I don't have a release date for definate as of yet. I will be post-poning it till my exams are over. I apologise again for this. I didn't intend this to happen, it's just I feel I've got too much pressure atm to finish it. If the movie hadn't had sound synch problems it would be out today. Honest truth. My exams finish on June 18th, that's my last one. So.... I'm thinking 2 weeks after that it'll be out. I think when you guys see it you'll take into consideration the amount of effort I've put into making it so polished and just making it so despite the countless delays [at first it was supposed to be out August of 2008]. From the exports I've done the sound is really as I thought it would be, so nothing to really do now. THE SHADOW OVER INNSMOUTH is now online

Hey there everyone. I've got some news. I have been working quite a bit on Aspirations over the last two days. So, I don't know when it'll be out but it looks like sooner than June time. It's quite a surprise when it'll be out. I want to release it and then announce it like 30 mins after or so here. I've cut a bit of dialogue out just to make it flow a bit better. I'll be exporting it in parts due to Youtube's time limits [nothing over ten minutes]. So, as the movie is 25 mins [not 27 as I said before] I will export 5 parts and upload them onto my youtube. Also, I've been working on the making of featurette for the movie. It's been going . I've been thinking it would be cool to have a little montage at the start to like start things up. Then, it goes to me talking about the movie. I'm also thinking of putting in a little interview I had with Userjosh on this movie last year. So, all in all it's looking swell. Making this movie has been weird. It's been delayed a lot more than CC4 [and oh yes, that was a pain delaying it like there was no tomorrow but I got it done in the end] but I feel this movie is my best piece of work. I mean it tops anything I've ever done, the camera-work, the script and so on. I'm not putting down a release date as that always gets a bit like "Got another problem with it, not today", you know. It's just nice I feel to end my career on a film which is a big epic [20+ mins]. It was cool doing the short and sweet movie "Time" last year. I just prefer to doing something that's got more to it even though "Time" was a great movie. From doing the tribute it's like the icing on the cake. Even more so that it got released 2 months earlier [in May instead of July] as it was originally planned.

Hey there everyone. I've been making progress. I have been cutting up the movie into parts [10 parts it will be alltogether]. I just finished exporting part 5. This part is the scene with Sailorknightwing's character [Cassandra]. I'm cutting it up scene-wise, so each part will vary with the length. I'm not putting a release date on this but it's all looking very . By that, I mean possibly a week at the most. We'll see. I'll keep you guys informed. I'm going to also sort out another poster for the movie and no, not another trailer. I think 12 trailers is enough [like almost 10 more than any other project I've done].

Hey there kit. Yes, I completely understand, it'll come out this time definetly. Talking of which my last touches of working on the movie has been going really , 2 parts out of 9 exported (with no sound bugs! YAY!). Another part is exporting as I speak (downstairs). BTW, I've polished up the movie in terms of dialogue, cutting bits out, making it flow better. I plan to finish exporting all these parts today (I'm serious). Hey there everyone. I have very news. Been working on the movie today like a machine, started work on it at 12 noon and finished at 7pm [I had two lessons in the morning at college today, thought I should work a lot on Aspirations to get it almost done]. I've exported 8 of the 11 parts so far. I haven't been hit by any sound-bugs as of yet. So, I can see that really works, cutting your movie up. Also, as a little treat. Given how long this project has taken and even so much so that one of the actresses in the film isn't around on TMO anymore [Sailorknightwing] I thought It'd be neato to release a final clip [well.... it's actually a part of the 11 parts but it's like a minute long, so.... yup]. She's really amazing in this movie, so I thought it'd be cool for you guys to see a glimpse of her great performance. Plus, it just adds a bit more to the hype. I'm going to upload it on my Motionbox account as I'm getting quite annoyed by Youtube [not allowing me to upload it in High res]. So.... yup. I won't be finishing up the last 3 parts tonight as I'm quite exhausted to be honest. I'll definetly finish up them tomorrow. After all that is done, I just have to put all the parts into an outside editor [cut out the movies icon bit at the end of each part] and slot in the opening and ending credits. Then, I'll export it as a big WMV file and upload it onto my Motionbox or my Youtube account. BTW, I'll update this thread when the clip is uploaded. I'll keep you guys posted!

DRAKE - SEASON 1 - MAKING YOUR WAY TO TMU

Hey there everyone. The final editing [outside editing] is going fine for Aspirations. A few days ago I thought up the idea of doing a music video to the full CC film which couldn't get finished. So, I did. I incorporated some other footage in the film [some you may have seen, some not] to make it different to the short movie I did for it. Of which I finished up 4 months ago. This is like a tribute in terms of a music video. I cut it down quite a bit in the end as the song went on for a bit longer and I just thought it would be very to cut it there then go on from there.
