also you may not need the 3 heroes to help you, but visit them and mayb they train you in w/e theyve been up to, like hammer can teach you figting skills, garth can teach you magic and reaver can teach you trick shots or w/e and doing this would add more places and utlimately make the game longer and let players refer back to the second game without confusing new ones, also many people are still sour about the last boss fight, but battling the hero from fable 1 and theresa who is a immortal, that would satisfy some people
we should send this to lionhead lol, all of this together would make a hell of a game, voice of the players rules, and if they make the effort to look through forums and make changes to their original idea, they could make one of the biggest games in a rlly long time since fable 2 had flaws but it was still very successful

ok i think we should keep jack dead or his son or daughter that was a stupid idea because it would kinda be the same thing over. i think the spell's should be able to max out like to lvl 8 and at lvl 8 with say vortex you can summon a really big vortex and it can destroy building's and if you get like fire ball at lvl 8 you look like you got all this fire running through your skin.and i think you should have like ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) spell and ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) spell i mean like because in fable 2 if you wont a ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) mage you get a few spell's and you got blue all over you skin and i dont think someone ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) wont's blue on them so what im trying to say is you get lots of ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) spell and you have like red going through you and if you use ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) spell's then you get blue going through you it simple really. and i think when you get you really ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) you get a choice to become like a demond with flame around you wings horns and all that but you get to pick and if your ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) you can pick to get a halo and angel wings when your really ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) . i hope this was a ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) idea what do you think??

ok fable 3...
its probably set after fable 2 judging on the "see the future" dlc...which is a shame the time of archon sounds interesting.
so heres what should be in from fable 1:
the general attention to detail of the first fable, it took them a long time but at least it didnt seem rushed.
the more complex tatoos
the ranged weapon system from fable 1
the depth of albion law they added in.
being able to be a boxer.
showing you drink beer (small detail but realy adds to the beliveablility.
from fable 2
the melee system
the dyes
changing npcs names
having children.
now some stuff that should be new...
the ageing system,
not as the story progresses or as you "level up" but in actual time so if you spend 40 hours playing... you notice wrinkles on your face.
i think it would be interesting if it no longer faded to black when you grow up but you actually live as a child...it should be just as interesting just in a different way, (maybe there could be a skip time button for people who want to grow up fast.) so if one hour acted as a game year you would have sixty hours game time before reaching old age.
more...just generaly more stuff...not necessaryly scale wise but just more depth, even if there were less areas but each was more detailed and took a long time to find everything in. more of the albion law, more diversity between towns, more small missions and more skills to master.
oh and less comedy...i appreciate it, in fable 1 it was funny and serious in fable TLC and fable 2...there were too many gimics...the halo armour for example, it was fun...but some decent clothing instead would have been more appreciated.
i dont mind the fable 2 death system...its weird but ok.
i think more interaction between villagers would be ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) , so instead of a fact sheet saying:
Garry likes: ham
dislikes: everone without ham
you would take some time getting to know the npc's...PM got rid of the mini map so you had to learn the landscape and that was a ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) move so i think that direction on npcs would also be more rewarding...well that all for now.

Umm i have a few things things that i would love for fable 3 to have.
Story: pleeease make it longer and more interesting. the fable 2 plot bored the hell out of me.
Melee+Range: How about being able to customize your own weapons. for example like change colors, make some sort of unique mark on it etc. Also to bring back fist fighting, idk it just makes things more interesting. and put an end to experience orbs :/ just make upgrades go by levels. its annoying to pick up experience after every battle. It would be pretty awesome to fight with two swords or a gun with a sword or sword with a dagger or however. and how about making different kind of techniques of fighting. for example have a normal stance or power stance or some sort of kung fu stance or something like that.
Magic= Ughh the magic in fable 2 is annoying boring. they should bring back how magic was done in fable 1. and maybe make a magic meter and when you fill it up (by using magic) you can do some sort of ultimate magic move. and that move depends on if you are ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) / ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) /or in the middle
Visuals= Make some ground breaking effects come on let me see huge dragons that i have to fight. Also to add more features to when your really ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) or really bad (wings, tails, etc.)
Pets= The dog was a great idea but try to make it more important. make it learn a few fight moves or even maybe a little bit of will. Also to make pet shops where you can trade your animal for a tiger, lion, cougar, and a bird would probably be kick ass too. Horses!!!!
Clothes= Make alot more clothes and please make them stylish.
fitness= I dont think you should grow stregnth by experience but by how active you are. and also make the muscels look defined in fable 2 he always looks fat.
Thats all i can think of at once right now but itll be the greatest game ever if they make these features

I agree with everything cocoxx1 wrote on the last post (expecally that phisyc makes you look fat) execpt that while it would be interestion to have a dragon(s) in the game, I personally think they should be as the book in Fable 1 said, extremly rare. And killing them should be extremly challenging and rewarding (like the ability to take his hide and have forged dragon hide armor or somthing.) Also I think that if this is added, it shouldn't be part of the main campian.
Everyone I've seen on here seems to love boss battles. I personally am don't love or hate boss battles, however I think it would be nice to have the boss battles different that just really powerful and hard to kill enemys. But at the same time I hate confusing battles when you have to run around switching switchs to turn off the boss's sheilds just to hit him once (Or that type of thing).
I noticed a lot of people wrote about Elder Scrolls Oblivion on here. Now I don't know I Elder Scrolls are like your arch rivals or something, but I think if you took a look at Oblivion and used a lot of the elements that made that game great, and put some of those ideas into Fable 3, then that right there would be a legendary game. And I'd love to see my dog running around my horse while i'm ridding it shootin' some hobbes! PS don't do the horse movement like they did in oblivion, maybe more like the Assassin's Creed horses.
Also I saw someone talking about the ageing system. My views are that you should be able to get old, but it also should be avoidable. It was odd in fable one that you started as a boy and grew older than the guildmaster, even though Thunder, Brier Rose and everyone else stayed the same age. I can't expect you to make everone age, but I just think you shouldn't 'over age' them. Really the best thing I can think to do is add a ageing and youth potion
I must say, over everything else, I would love to see a obivion sized (or bigger ![Smily [:)]](/emoticons/emotion-1.gif) ) huge loading timeless world, with Fable's great scenery (Just simple things like bridges) and the rest of the things that made the last two Fables great.
Thanks as always

You know how, in the history of the Temple of Shadows, the cult tried to summon the ultimate shadow? When I started on part III of my fan fiction, I wondered about that. Where do these shadows come from in the first place? If summoned, what would the ultimate shadow do?
And what about the sacrificial shrine in Snowspire? Was Jack of Blades the only demon behind it? I know about the Queen and King of Blades, but was that really it? That was the court. What if the court was made up of a selected few from a body of entities that live beyond the portal? In my fan fiction, I'm going to take care of all of these answers(I'm still on the second chapter of part III).
That also brings up what the Temple of Light is all about. It is said, in TLC, that Skorm and Avo were deities made up because people who went to their respective shrines felt either violent, " ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) " tendencies pulling at them, or benevolent, kind instincts whispering to their consciences. If the aforementioned questions are worth answering, then what about the same for the Temple of Light?
I sure hope the administrators are watching this forum. This could be a source of creativity for them.

I feel the stress to dig your post. It makes me wonder, though. Would this character's name be selected from many different choices? Would you choose the name yourself, render the person to be referred to as "friend" or "partner" or "henchman"? They couldn't be a Hero as well, that distracts a bit from your own finess. When they fight, would you have to keep their health in mind? Would you share potions? How would they evolve with you?
What is his opinion of your actions? It can't be that your Hero becomes ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) , and then starts to be ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) . Your henchman would have to be come the same alignment. We know in real life that people are morally hard to sway. He can't be morally aligned with just one side, either. He will be ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) , you'll be ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) , and in a real life situation, you would part ways.
If there's any human companion in the game, there'd have to be different friends, at least two to start out with(one ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) , the other bad, purity/corruption aside). Or, you could meet different companions along your travels, like in the Fallout games.
These companions, would they have pets as well? Maybe there'd be bonuses with having another dog. If you and the friend have different morality, your dogs wouldn't get along, it would be harder for them to sniff out non-quest treasure. However, adversely in a fight, they'd try to one up each other, without teamwork.
If you and the friend's moralities agree, the dogs could work as a team in combat, sniff out treasure more, but be more prone to attacks. If one of them is limping, the other will cease to fight with you.
I don't know if anyone wants other pets besides dogs, but these are only suggestions for the idea.
We all know what dog does at the end. Not going to spoil it, but would your friend be caught in the same situation? What if you and your friend get into disagreements from time to time due to moral dissagreements?
At key moments, when you make a moral decision, your friend may send the message across that he would have done it differently, IF he is of an opposing moral standing.
Fighting fire with fire burns the whole world.
