Only thing I'm wondering ... this box, I assume contains the standard DVD case inside. Is the cover art for that the same as the regular edition (i.e. the red demon one) or will it be the same as the LE box? I thought the regular edition cover art look really great, but so does this. I wouldn't mind getting both to be honest.

Oh, that is cool. And I just noticed the shadow behind him. I think that looks better than the reflective pool. Kinda gives you that Episode I feel to it, or that's what it reminds me of.

I noticed that on the EB games website, it says the special edition comes with "Fate Cards." That's a funny name for an Xbox Live trial card making me think these are two different things. Does anyone think that these "Fate Cards" will replace the Xbox Live Trial card? If so, what do you think these Fate Cards are?

yea, I was confused about that too. The blog thing made it seem like if you pre-order Fable 2 you will also get the pub games. I have already pre-ordered Fable 2 so that would be very useful info for me.

There was a recent price jump on the LE of Fable 2, (now $79.99 (maybe more content, I do not know or cannot say))
EB was bought out by GameStop a few years ago and we are now one of the largest video game retailers in the nation (US)

my xbox doesnt have xbox live, and i was hopnig this came with a jack of blades mask, so a hobbe figurine and an xbox live thing that lets your character start off with the ability to buy everything in the game is very disapointing.

All you need is a DSL internet conection. Unfortunately you can't get on XBL through dialup. What's so hard about getting a DSL connection??? You don't have to pay for XBL since the LE of the game comes with a trial period of gold membership and after that you can just stick with a silver membership that costs nothing and still allows you access to a lot of cool stuff. I LOVE XBL. It's absolutely magnifficent.

So.... who thinks the LE was a Terrible idea? now 90% of gamers who buy Fable 2 won't be able to play the whole story because of this Etxra "In-Game Content"- which could range from.... a Chicken Hat to an Entire Dungeon with "Phat Lewts".

Personally i don't think the LE will be worth the Extra 20$+tax because these "Behind The Scenes Videos" will be on youtube/other Video Hosting Sites within Minutes after release ..... and the Hobb Figure would be neat but only if its Decent size (I'm Guessing its the Hobb Figure that you see in Dev Diary 6) now if it turns out to be a 2-inch little keychain Hobb, that would also not be worth 20$ but if it is the one you see in the video, then yah i could see if being worth 20$.

To be Honest.... i Think they Screwed up on the LE ..... BADDLY

Now all we can do is wait too see if Fable 2 is a bust or not.

firstly there are plenty  of other threads talking about the LE and such but im sure that the extra levels are gonna be on xbox live as downloadable content and  i guess we will find out if the LE is worth once we get more information about it

hey if you dont want it dont get it. At least where you live you CAN ORDER IT. In Australia I cant... plus we pay 20%-30% more.

I just checked theAustralian retailers and nope it still not registering for presale.

Ivge already left notes with my local store that as soon as it becomes availablt to pre-order to order but you never know.

I think, if they add extra in-game stuff in the LE, it will be available as DLC soon enough. Anyway, if the in-game content is nice, for me, this is a definite buy And yeah, if you don't like it, don't get it.

Hopefully i can buy Fable II LE at stores somday since i don't really trust pre-oredering from net. This extra content is really idea, but it is not fair thos people who buy "normal" fable II.  Now i have to find microsoft points somewhere and wait for when they upload extra content and pub games to xbox live
