No offense, but you took your sweet time coming to that conclusion.
I think this mod will have to wait for the official mod tools [plus some more] since the whole game needs to be reworked. Cinematics in Lionhead's games are in-game actions, camera's will be going ballastics if you try to fix them on villagers without the appropriate tools. Cameras will need to be fixed constantly and I'm
guessing this will
ALL need to be done by high-end experienced modders since this is not original supported in the game's engine. Keyword:
