    Re: The Normandy Breakout

The final planes and tanks moved through, and the city was finally handed over to the French, the allies work here was done. After a final goodbye party the troops went home, some crying, they'd miss the war and they'd miss thier buddies, some were so young that this was thier life, and it was over. Germany was still to be liberated, but everyone in France could go home happy, when they did the radio stations greeted them back and they returned home heroes of the war. Some Time Later... (March 3rd, 1950) It was a quiet day in South Boston, and Walter was looking at photos of friends he'd lost during the war, some were unburied, they were the real heroes, they gave thier lives for world freedom. Walter tried to call Brad's phone number and waited for someone to pick up the phone. Walter's wife was resting and his son was out playing baseball.

'Yeah, got married too! Killing a couple Germans sure helped on that front... Say you know where that Italian Restaraunt is? You know the one with the fancy writing and that chef on those new TVs?' Walter was releived to be talking to his old friend again.

    Re: The Normandy Breakout

'wanna go there?' Walter replied, of course they did, and thier lives carried on as usual, little did they know they'd soon be heading to another war in Vietnam in about a decade, they'd fight in the jungles of vietnam, against better opponents and with better weapons, they'd fight in another war older, and as veterans, but all that must be saved for the continuation of this RP...
    TO BE CONTINUED....

I had to end it as I'm headed to Rome in about... 30 hours but don't worry the Vietnam one will be long and I have a few twists up my sleeve.

    Re: The Normandy Breakout

It was a movie ending i guess you could say, one of those happy ones that always have nice endings where friends reunite hahaha, so are we gonna start off the new one with Brad and Walter hangin with their families at the resturant?

    Re: The Normandy Breakout

yeah, I thought about the ending and wanted it to be happy, like in the cinema, anyone that wasn't American will have to create a new character I'm afraid, but it'll start in the restaraunt and nine years later (I'll decide when nine years passes) the Vietnam war'll start and you'll get called in for your country and you jungle adventures begin. I'm going to research things and take a break (I'm going on vacation to Rome) when I get back I'll be fresh and ready to play again.
