This is the continuation of the successful series "This is Oki Tawanaka, FOX News" now in production of episode 4.
Come join Oki Tawanaka and the squad of the Third Infantry Division of the U.S. Army on their adventures into lands and sights unknown to them. This project is based off of a concurrently running year long Neverwinter Nights roleplaying campaign where the dungeon master is the true director of our series, the NWN players are real-time scriptwriters/actors for each episode and the TMO community brings the film series alive.
WorldPictures informed me that TMO TV wants to show the first two episodes in September and October.
The first three episodes can be found here:

Episode Three
Although I’ve downloaded a lot, what I find myself scrounging for well... almost everything medieval/fantasy era *grins* over the next twelve months... tutorials, more downloads and leads to people that I can go bug in PM’s
- costumes (male, female, monsters (orcs, orogs, ...), etc) of all types (fancy clothes, simple clothes too, armor, latex masks for ordinary monsters, bone meshes for complex monsters (I wouldn’t rule out the DM throwing a dragon or any other creature of legend at us after 12 months of play)
- props of types I haven’t found or haven’t even imagined yet.
- Sets (although the Medieval Modders did a fantastic job, there’s still scenes I’m having trouble filming) I’ll keep trying to experiment with the blue screen sets.
- Magic – I’m trying to make transparent animated overlays in conjunction with scenes that make them look like magic is taking place
- Combat - I’m still trying to figure out ways to get guns/grenades and fantasy weapons in combat at the same time... that might require transplanting actors again like I did with Karen’s transparent animated overlay in On the Ledge.
- I’m not very proficient with the tools mentioned, so I had trouble understanding the animated actor props tutorial by Gleem at DCMF if someone wants to explain it in simpler terms, I’d appreciate a “Tutorial for Dummies”. I’m looking to set up merchants, peasants and other background characters for shots.
Keep in mind these are long-term goals over the course of twelve months or so of this project rather short-term. Many issues will be down-n-dirty at first, some will simply be scrounged imports; but, some of the more advanced stuff will be custom work and pure research. Any help from the TMO community would be greatly appreciated over the course of the year. I intend to make several dozen episodes to this series.
Thank you those that taught me directly or indirectly how to do costume editing, importing & composite building, including: judyann88, MBStudios, catfisherman, The_Medieval_Modders, BusStopWilly and the many fine costume builders at 8Eyed Baby, SkinShack and DCMF along with the makers of MED and DeadSane’s Costume Editor. Oh and course, The United States Army IET Manual and Wikipedia.org.
I would also like to thank NWVault’s Thorsten Willert’s Great Old Black Dragon, who accepted the huge bribe of gold and did not breath acid on me while I free hand drew his portrait in a separate window in Paintshop Pro, instead of me tracing or copy/pasting him. *grins* (see below)
