    Wink [;)] Thanks. I do like a bit of gore every now and again. I'm having problems with that map though. It'll load happily enough but now I need to write a script to spawn villigers/soldiers every time you click the idol. Ah well, it'll be fun to figure out. Here's another map I'm working on. A copy of one of the original skirmish maps. I'm gonna do all of them as bases for other people to md/script

    Is this map off Black and white 1, if i'm not corrected?

    I have questions, after you make a map in the editor how do you play it? And where does it install to when you've installed it.

    Finally I got me round to actually trying out the mod tools, after my first attempt showed what was really needed - patience... Ogre [:gre:] Anyhows! My first real effort (after a fair bit of practice Wink [;)])

    I'm not too happy about the line you can see in the rocks on the beach in that last picture but it's getting late, and I haven't eaten so I don't want to take another screenie just nowSmily [:)]. I'm going to try making lands from various lattitudes, as this is probably the only type of landscape I could do in that length of time at the moment - more practice!

    Will try to get this thread re-stickified now that I've posted in it Wink [;)]

    I made some more piccies. Still trying to make the colours a little more vibrant but this is what's there so far:

    The textures look a tad on the flat side; I think perhaps some haze would resolve the problem much like the final aztec land.

    No-one's here, so I hereby declare this my own private thread. Maybe I'll make a flag Smoker [:zmoker:]

    Incidentally Kays, or Daxter or anyone else; you wouldn't know what's happened to the land number registration on the modding wiki would you? It keeps redirecting me to the main page ORLY [orly]

    Try this link for the Land Registration. It's in a sub-domain and the server doesn't doesn't like to forward  requests to it.

    Well have been tinkering with the lighting (or rather, breaking it) on a version of the above map that I extended; thus:

    dawn - about 5am

    mid-morning, about 11am. Took a while before I felt it actually looked cold Stick out tongue [:P]

    This took the longest - 2pm, and I think it has a reasonable 'just snowed' look

    Sunset:

    And a late night moonscape to finish - not too happy with the night-time but still tinkering Wink [;)]

    When you enter light-editing mode, does anyone know what the sphere with the yellow and blue rotatable balls in it does exactly? ORLY [orly]

    How do I get the editor? I follows the link but it said 'Page could not be found' and the patches wouldn't work..
