I would have prefered for The UK to get it first but it is getting produced in the US. Why not releas it on the previous Friday to the UK and the following Friday to the rest of Europe.

You americans better make the most of it! i'll be sitting at home twiddleing my thumbs waiting for fable 2, while you lot are playing it!

I'm not going to even try to say I really know anything about this but what is probable is that even though the game was developed in the U.K., the DVDs the game is placed on may be at one of the Microsoft studios in the U.S.  This is simpler logic than to have 5 studios (1 per continent) to produce each game where one major studio can produce and have the developed software sent to the main studio.  Therefore since one studio produces it (likely here in the U.S.) the North American continent has quickest access whilst the rest have to wait for the game to ship over-seas.

I am NOT an expert or have inside knowledge, this is speculation, but is my best guess for this.  Personally, I work a lot, so all I care is that it comes out in October and don't care if it's world wide same release or staggered.  Just that the staggered seems to fit the idea that one studio is producing the game from the software Lionhead produced in the U.K.

I love the fact that no matter what publisher publishes any game, they create enemies, like EA. We should love MS, they are the ones who funded Fable 2, they are the ones publishing Fable 2, they were smart enough to acquire LH, so all there awesome games can becoem more awesome because if money was a company, It'd be MS.

Well my game place said he will if they had alot of preorders which I bet will. My recept says 2500 and somthing on me. SO that could mean theres that many already preordered there and PM did say at 12:01 so why would he say that if there is not going to be one. I think there will be a midnight release. My game place said  it depends on how many he gets so yea I think there is a mdnight which I am so going to. I am playing that game all mourning long and before I go there I rest ahead of time  too.

Wow the anticipation for this game is insane. I'm running out to pre order my limited adittion tommorow just to have the pub games. Fable the original was , though short it was a ground breaking game the enviroment, graphics and the way the world is shaped around you and you by it is uncomprehendable. The creators, developers, and publishers of the fable series are geniouses beyond any doubt. I find that although you have so many people congradulating you all around the world it isn't enough for what you have offered to the gaming world. A new era of gaming is upon us and fable is the first stone to be cast that will trigger a avalanche of gaming revolution. Thank you peter and all those at lionhead who made these games possible. Keep up the excellent work.

Hey all the websites selling Fable 2 in the UK dont have a release date on them so are we getting it at a different time

i wish this game would hurry up & come out already, all my other games have just lost there appeal to me.

ouch... US & canadian prices make me sick once again... $60 means about 37 euros. And Fable 2 in France will cost 70 euros. The only reason I will be the PAL version is for an hypothetic downloadable content to come later and the fact I do not know if the game will be region free. That is crazy to see that importing games (what I am doing most of the time) costs me between 40 and 45 euros each time (for PS3 and X360 "region free" games) where all the french prices are always set to 70 euros for new games. Crazy world.

About the release date, the only surprise is "Why US version is available 3 days before european?". When Ubisoft makes his game in his french studios, the release date is a worldwide date as far as I know (let's forget about Japan). So strange to have those 3 days.

I'm sure i'm not the only one extremely annoyed with the release dates of Fable 2. Why is it always the bladdy US first huh?

Im quite annoyed at them to, hopefully it will turn out like Mass effect release, no contracts signed so the retailer can start selling when they get em in, or unless Microsoft wanna kick u in the balls, will make them sign a contract making them hold them til the release date, Rofl after the first 12 hours Fable 2 story/quests will be out on the net and fellow Aussies, and euro counter parts wont be able to go on Youtube and for that matter the Internet ...Harry Potter all over again.....i can see myself finding out the ending to fable 2 before i have even played it...oh and America is first because Microsoft lives there. pretty sure ..Worst release dates ever,
