Just beat botg, want to turn the map into a huge city now but..

I have a question. Im 100% evil in botg and i want to rebuild the 3 city's in the game i destroyed and make it look cool. I want to become good tho, and no matter what i build taverns or hospitals it doesnt seem to make anyone happy lol. I also have another problem, about 100 or so people are standing in front of the food mill's and the food section of the store house and i cnt get emm to move even the farmers are just standing there. When i multi hand pick them up and move emm to a diff spot in my city they just stand there also and dont move. What do i do to solve this ? My total pop in that city in about 500 and i have enough houses for 600 so what gives ? I have a food shortage problem right now with this many people could this be why there just standing there ?

Dunno. Sounds like they're being lazy. I would use a life miracle on the storehouse, make sure u have a little bit of food and ore in it, and it'll be filled (its a useful bug) If that dont work, kill them. Kill them all. Then buy one man and one woman, make em breeders, and take it from there.

hehe. Well to make people happy but still have them all squished up is to build an (high) impressive builing and some mansions, Manores and villas by them and make around 200 worshippers so u can cast the life spell easy because with the expert mirecle mode it cost 4,500 manna so u caould use it alot to fend off the enemy and restore your storehouse. Dunno. Sounds like they're being lazy. That's whats so strange about its behavior which makes it sound even more like a glitch.

i dont think that isa bug, tree's can be regrown, ore cant. If you wanna make a huge city in the whole map you'll need tons of ore. I just beat the 2nd Japanese map on BW2 the one where you fight the 2nd japanese brother, and my city is so huge that it took all the mines on the map to make besides the one in there main base.

Yeah, but how can a life miracle make ore Ermm [:ermm:] Its supposed to ressurect the recently dead\instantly kill skeletons, it would mention it also refilling your storehouse if it wasn't a bug

Maybe villagers resource to spend it and the life miracle revives/restores/ the dead/spent resources.

But ore......isn't a living organism to begin with. I know its a bug because they would've said that it refilled the storehouse....Ermm [:ermm:]

Re: Just beat botg, want to turn the map into a huge city now but..

Is there a solution to this? I'm also having this problem.
After beating the game, I decided to go "sandbox" on the lands and once I reach around 1k pop, 30-40 villagers start to pile up at each of the storehouses and just keeps taking food.  I tried moving the villagers, but then they just get stuck there or go back to the storehouse. I tried killing off the villagers, but then more take their places. I tried deleting the storehouses and rebuilding them, but then they do the exact same thing.
I've been constantly filling the storehouses with life miracles and after 10-15 times, I thought it was just the life miracles, so I made dozens of farmers/refiners to fill up the village storehouse; they are able to fill up the storehouse faster then the villagers can take it, but the problem is still there...the villagers just stand outside the storehouse, farmer disciples and "non-employed," and just keeps taking food like they're having a how-much-can-you-eat competition.

Then I tried reinstalling the game and start a new one, but the "fun" just starts all over again.

There are no patches and this doesn't seem to be wide-spread glitch, since there are almost no threads about this, so I gave up trying to find an answer and just ask one.
    Any help will be appreciated

Re: Just beat botg, want to turn the map into a huge city now but..

It's not a bug. Food is a source of living energy and so life miracle works with it. Ore is a living mineral and so life miracle works with it. The planks that are put into the storehouse are not considered living nor dead because they are made from trees which are living and they are killed and choopped into planks so they balance eachother out. Trust me it's not a bug.
