Those weather effects are awesome, real useful for a wide variety of people, they'll definitely add a layer of ambience to the game. Problems installing it though, where do you put the .ini file included in the download?

    Drop it here:   C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies\Data

No other folder needed... Wink [;)]

Here's some examples of a FEW of the new effects inside:  Mustard Gas, explosions with metal debris(one in  outer space) & falling glass!  Confused [*-)]

Incredible mod, Rysto! You should put aYoutube movie up showing the different effects this thing can achieve!

The "E v i l [Evil] Founder" part of the mod doesn't work, however.

UPDATE---I forgot to include a file from E v i l [Evil]Founder's original mod!  So that's why it wasn't working for those who didn't have it to begin with.  My two menu's would work and his wouldn't.  Huh? [:^)]

I've reuploaded the MOD with the missing file.

    Bad Rysto!  Mad []

First we had Sherlock Holmes, then Perry Mason and then Matlock. Now we have Kwistufa-Action Detective! Heh, never even noticed it all the times I looked.  Nice find Kwis! Hmmm, Kwistufa-Action Detective sounds like a movie...thinking...thinking..yeah, but there would be no "Thats notta a crime...Now thats a crime' kinda thing. I see an All Aussie film in my future.

    Love this mod Rysto!!!!

I made this pic for those having trouble installing the MORE weather mod.  It's a picture of where you need to place the weather.ini file and the fx folder.

    Re: Rysto's Modding Workshop

I downloaded the weather effects a while ago, actually, before I saw this forum thread. I got them off of 8 eyed baby, and they both worked and looked great! But, I originally downloaded them to find a Snow weather effect in the combination. -Cough-

None the less, it is a great addition to any movie that has use for one of the many effects, and credits you many thanks to come.

    Re: Rysto's Modding Workshop (Zombies)

    Rysto,

Have you heard of anyone having what I can only describe as a clipping problem with the animated zombies? I was able to put them in some scenes early in my movie but after that any attempts to place them would result in what looked to be a clipping effect. When I got to PP all scenes with the animated Zombies were effected by this problem. It could just be my semi-crappy video card but I was wondering if anyone else experienced it and found a resolution.

    Thanks,

    Nahton
