I don't care about the rest of the ordering, but Members Only should be on top Paranoid [:aranoid:]

The more astute observers among us, will have noticed this going on for a while now, albeit on a much smaller scale. I know for certain the boards in The Movies forum change places seemingly at random. Never seen the whole forums change though. Stick out tongue [:P]

Keeps you on your toes though, eh? Cheeky [:cheeky:]
My guess is - the software is being buggy. I doubt somebody is maniacally switching the forum positions at the most inconvenient times like some sort of serial odd sock planter in our bedrooms.

I dunno what you're all talking about - for me, TM is still always on top - as it should be. Cheeky [:cheeky:]

Well, for me, it was in alphabetical order for a bit and when I came home from work, The Movies was on top again.  I asked one of the members in the Lionhead Pub if The Movies was on top for them, and he said that it was in alphabetical order, which, I thought, was VERY weird.  It's easier if The Movies was one top anyways.  I hate looking for The Movies on the bottom.

Just out of interest, is there any news about the new message update? I'm sure it was mentioned a while back that a system would be put in place that would tell us if we got a new PM instead of just having to keep checking the inbox.

Sorry for wasting anyone's time if I just imagined it though, even though it would be nice to have Wink [;)]. Still, it wouldn't be necessary if people checked their inboxes Ogre [:gre:]!

There is... in fact, if you select it, then you receive an email every time you get a PM....so whoever you're PMing either has that option off or is intentionally ignoring you Stick out tongue [:P]

My problem is that I can't turn it off Ogre [:gre:] I mean, I check my PM inbox regularly anyway, and it's filling up my email inbox... any reason why turning it off isn't working for me? Tongue Tied [:S]

Re: The New Community Site: Feedback

Oh, I know about that, I mean something like on the old forums that told us if we had any unread messages and how many. It's just that if someone doesn't check their inbox, they're probably not the sort of person who'd check emails a lot either Stick out tongue [:P].

I've heard that programming with the new forum can be more difficult though, so I understand why it's not made an appearance (plus the business with Fable 2 Wink [;)]).

Re: The New Community Site: Feedback

I do check my mail everyday but never my PM inbox and as i could only use crappy hotmail for a live ID i had to sign up for that which i never check or use for anything... Would be so nice with a pop up everytime you got a pm or just something showing it.

It's because of missing features like that the 'new' forums just arent nearly as G o o d [Good] as the old one... No change is not always G o o d [Good].

I did have that problem yesterday, when I was panicking for some unknown reason. But I re-booted my computer and somehow it logged me in.

Hmm...strange. Having my fingers crossed might have given me luck...Hmm [^o)]

Does it to me as well.... Doesn't seem to want to load beyond that person's sig thinggi. His profile doesn't seem to load, either.

I just thought I'd pop in here and make myself look like one of the cool kids by saying 'it happens to me too'.

Sometimes refreshing the thread works, or closing down the site and loading it up again. And sometimes it doesn't.

Needless to say, it is annoying.

This happened before with another user who had a signature similar to his.  I tried copying the code for that signature and posted it in one of my private messages and it messed everything up.  Crazy []

    Suggestion:

I think it would be nice to see if a thread has had a developer reply aka the red guys. I know this is coming from the blizzard forums whereby it tells you a member of the blizzard of staff has replied to this post by having it blue.

I like to see what the developers write and are up to when roaming the boards even if it is a "lol", Is this the alpha stage of my plan to stalk the lionhead developers?!? of course not...Hmm [^o)]

At the moment you can see them if they have the latest reply or started the topic but other than that you do not know if there is a developer reply.

The BioWare forums have this as well! Would be a nice addition to this forum too indeed. Right now you can only say if a dev started a thread, not if he has answered in a normal one as well.

Everyone should boycott Ubisoft and their new Online DRM for PC games. This has gone too far in the reduction of the rights of users and I am sick of it! It is not made to fight piracy, but to control the customer.

Re: The New Community Site: Feedback

(about the weird thread not fully loading thing a couple of posts up)

this thread does the same for me on 3 different PCs

    http://allboards.lionhead.com/forums/thread/2962242.aspx

in that it refuses to load past the same user's sig. Also, if you trie to look at his (petey445's) userprofile, it's completely blank. Not blank as in none of the fields are filled in, but blank as in empty space...
