    derbyrams:

Well.... that was different. That film was based on my grandma who died 2 years ago and I found it for myself quite up-setting at the time as it's a great tribute to her. You have your opinion like I do have mine but with Acceptance, I got upset that you didn't like it given it was a personal thing at the time.

If this is true...Fair enough. You have my apologies for assuming different on the matter.

    Thanks for the fun TMO!

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

But just because it's about your grandma doesn't mean we have to give it a rave review...I've lost so many family members in the past few years you won't believe, and if I wanted to make a movie about one of them, I would want honest reviews and not just 'oh thats great...unbelievable, five stars!' when it wasn't...This may be because I'm a emotionally strong person and cry very rarely at stuff and I'm not saying Acceptance is poor or rubbish because I've never seen it, but people like to give honest reviews to help you enhance your movie-making qualities and if you can't take it, well you're in the wrong community my friend...

Now, I'm off to watch Aspirations and give it an honest review and I hope it's G o o d [Good] because I know you've put a lot into this, so lets just hope you go out with a bang Wink [;)]

Why the hell are Lionhead blocking Norrie's posts?...have you got something to hide or is it what Norrie is saying is the truth, and you want to hide it?

If only you'd have put Aspirations into one movie, and on TMU. I would have watched, 2 minute parts, kind of breaks up the plot and flow of the story having to keep clicking on parts.

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

Hey there everyone....... 3 months and 12 days later. Sorry.... for the randomn disappearance, I've been busy and yes, I've decided to stop making films with The Movies. Thought it would be G o o d [Good] to drop by and say what's been up with what I've been doing since June 4th. Still..... I'll be about here now and again updating this thread saying what I've been up to. I don't believe in the whole "I'm back" thing people say, yes.... I'm back posting on this thread but I'm not making anything else with the Movies so.....

Since my departure [and still kinda is as I'm not doing anymore movies.... with the movies that is]  I have seen Terminator 4 four times [ironic, right? lol. Great movie, very different to number 3 which I was glad of as the 3rd movie was just a chase movie, it didn't have the heart that T1 and T2 had] I have been on holiday, went to Cornwall for a week. Made a holiday video of it but not uploading it on the internet as it's just for the family, you know, nothing personal, lol. I have written a few shorts to be done live action. I started work on shooting one of them 2 months ago but have been busy since so..... I haven't got back to it since. Last month, on the 20th August I got my A-level results. I got an A, a B for Media, a C for Film studies [AS- first year] and an E for English lit [still a pass at A-level, quite pleased with that grade and so is my teacher as she knew I found it hard. She's a very nice personSmily [:)]]. Very happy with my grades, didn't think I had a B in Media but hey, what do you know!Stick out tongue [:P] I have a B for it at GCSE level and at A-level, yay!Up []

Plus I recently got a place on a Uni course I really wanted to do, starting next week! YAY!Smily [:)]

I have done a live action music video. It expresses a condition I have, thought it would be neat to do through a music video. I was a bit surprised people got it, thought it was only one of those things you leave to yourself, lol, you know. Anyways, people who have watched [the slight few but still very nice to hear what people think] the music video have told me it's very G o o d [Good]. I'm pleased to hear that but wasn't really expecting people to like it, it's not like one of those music that has loads and loads of special effects. I personally find that a bit too much sometimes, most of the time I don't mind and see the justification to why there are so many special effects [transitions and so on] in music videos.

Also, I have seen the following at the cinema:

    1. The Proposal

    [10/10, hilarious movie]

    2. Transformers 2

    [10/10, suprisingly G o o d [Good] given bad reviews it got]

    3. 500 days of Summer

[10/10, not the average, dissapointing rom-com, very worth watching]

    4. The Ugly Truth

[10/10, very funny but not for the light-hearted, lots of sexual stuff]

    5. Bruno

[7/10, really funny but not on the level of how funny Borat was]

    6. Harry Potter 6

[7/10, G o o d [Good] movie, pretty G o o d [Good] but not a Harry fan anymore really, I need to catch up on No.5, the books put me off it at an early age, lol]

    7. Inglorious B*****ds

[10/10, really great movie but not QT's masterpiece, Kill bill]

I think that's all I have seen in the cinema in the last 3 months, sounds about right as I saw T4 four times, so... that pretty much sums it up, lol. I have also seen the following on DVD:

    1. Nick and Norah's infinite playlist [5/10, average, nothing amazing, was quite dissapointed by the 4 star ratings it had on the DVD]

    2. The Wrestler [8/10, very G o o d [Good] but not the masterpiece lots of people have said it is]

    3. Transporter 3 [7/10, very G o o d [Good] but a bit of the same old from the first two. I prefer the first two but I still it a lot, it was different]

    4. Tropic Thunder [9/10, very G o o d [Good] but it was a bit long. I then realised I was watching the extended version, so I think that's why this is getting a 9 and not a 10, some scenes dragged and shouldn't have been there]

    5. Vicky Christina Barcelona [1/10, terrible, utter rubbish. I was very shocked as I usually like films but it's really, really bad, not even  can save it]

    6. The Abyss [4/10, I only watched 40 mins of it and felt like that was a stretch, I don't see myself watching more of it really. It was ok, quite boring. If it had ended at the 40 min mark I would have been happy, it's just a boring film, not the quality James Cameron has shown he's capable of]

    7. The Life before her eyes [9/10, great movie. Uma excells in her role as usual, the movie is very entertaining but as G o o d [Good] as the ending was they could have explained stuff a bit better]

    8. St Trinians [4/10, quite G o o d [Good] in parts but overall a sore, really not worth it. Russell Brad's scene is the only amazing part of this movie, the rest of it is let's put Colin Firth in a scene or two where he's great and make out this film had more potential than the real thing]

    9. Superbad [10/10, hilarious! The funniest film I've ever seen and I'm completly honest there! It had so much I could relate to and laugh at being a teenager, loved it! Seen it 6 times now]

    10. Ned Kelly [8/10, pretty G o o d [Good] movie. Heath Ledger is amazing in it as Ned Kelly, very different role for him. Very G o o d [Good] overall]

    11. How to lose friends and Alienate people [10/10, very G o o d [Good], not the dissapoint everyone says it is. I found it funny but at the end of the day everyone is entitled to their opinion, Dance Flick looks awful, not funny at allBig Smile [:D]]

    12. Little Women [10/10, the young Christian Bale shines in this movie, great stuff, very, very G o o d [Good]. I loved it!]

    13. Fight Club [10/10, been waiting to see it for ages, haven't gotten around to it is all, it was amazing and oh my god, the ending! Wasn't expecting that, won't spoil it!]

    14. Half Light [6/10, Demi Moore excells but this movie doesn't, quite boring in places and very predictable ending which kinda kills it]

    15. G o o d [Good] luck Chuck [2/10, very dissapointing. It was quite G o o d [Good] at first, then it just did the same joke mostly again and again and I wasn't laughing. I was cringing at it. I'm fine with South park killing Kenny 100 times or whatever because I find that funny and not milked but this movie was pretty hard to sit through after it started off being quite G o o d [Good]]

    16. A G o o d [Good] year [7/10, very G o o d [Good] film Mr. Ridley Scott! Bit different to Alien, where's the Alien? LOL, just kidding. Very G o o d [Good], I enjoyed it and loved to see that it was a very, very different film to Alien, that he had done something different, look at Alien V.S. Predator, should be Terminated as Arnold would say, lol!]

    17. The Women [6/10, ok but I quite enjoyed it, not amazingly G o o d [Good] though, the cast are the best they've probably all been, giving amazing performances, not to say they didn't before but it's just a bit pedestrian at the center]

    18. Changelling [10/10, amazing film, different one for Clint to do but I enjoyed it immensely!]

    19. Gran Torino [10/10, bit slow but it makes up for it, really enjoyed it]

    20. The Patriot [10/10, another new DVD I bought starring the late great Heath Ledger. The movie was amazing, I would have liked it if his character didn't die in the end. I got quite depressed by that as he's actually dead in real life "No, please, don't go! [Mel Gibson] [he dies quickly] "God, help me, help me! I liked the ending when   Mel Gibson killed the *** [excuse my language, lol but that's what I called him throughout it, he was a real guy to hate, he played it well so he did his job!Big Smile [:D]]

I think that's all I can remember at this moment of time, I've seen more than that but can't remember all of them. Majority of them were very G o o d [Good], a few were average and one was terrible [VCB, short hand for Vicky Christina Barcelona]. I usually like films, which is why I want to be very much apart of it in the future, getting there to do it myself. It's all so inspiring to me, but nothing on that. I could go on for hours but not the right time to.Big Smile [:D]

Anyways, I've been up to a lot on other cases really. Oh, just remembered I went to see Oliver at the Westend. Had been waiting for ages, was great to see Jodie Prenger after so long, she was amazing in it, she didn't dissapoint at all. Got a bit annoyed what happenned to her at the end, won't spoil but I found it disturbing. I get why it happenned as Bill Sikes is a nasty guy and some was going to..... you know [I think I've spoiled it now, lol, my badBig Smile [:D]]. I've made another tribute and today I made a 3rd to await the documentary I'm making on my time as a member of the Movies online. I just thought it would be a nice way to go like full circle on my time [3 years] here.

I love all 3 tributes, don't get me wrong, it's just they were very subtle, they don't cover everything I would like to show and say about them all. So... what's why I'm doing a documentary and I thought it would neat to do it for myself as I like completing things anyways. You can find my new stuff on my Youtube account [66633] here:

    http://www.youtube.com/user/66633

    and

    http://www.motionbox.com/videos/7a99d4bc191de6c5f5

[for new tribute, didn't upload it on Youtube]

there ya go. BTW, not imposing on GO WATCH THEM RIGHT NOW as I used to be like, when I was like 15, I was a different person then, lol.Big Smile [:D]

So.... yup, that's all..... for now.Big Smile [:D]

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

Been editing the documentary [TMO documentary] a bit more recently, so far it's out of sequence. I'll be doing an export then upload it into the editing program I'm using [I-movie] and put it into sequence when it's all done. We're about 15% done atm, so.... yup... a while to go, down only 6 mins something, edging 7 mins. Still, it's a project I decided to commit to for about a month so.... we're not going up 100 floors yet.Big Smile [:D]

Watched Pineapple Express again. Been almost a year since I saw it at the cinema. It's a G o o d [Good] movie. I remember liking it very much at the cinema but it's not something I'd watch 50 times. I'd watch it now and again. Seth Rogen is great. I'm thinking of checking out his other work as I love his character in Superbad, hands down the funniest character he's ever played. James Franco is hilarious in this movie as a druggie, it kills me [not literally]. It's weird watching something again a year on, silly me, just haven't gotten around to buying it. Bought it for 3.99 so I think I did the right thing in the end, lol.Big Smile [:D]It's fun watching it again as I didn't know Superbad wasn't any G o o d [Good] last year and I noticed yesterday watching it some people from Superbad are in Pineapple, sweet. Overall, it's a very funny movie and it was fun seeing it again. I would give it a 9/10.

I also saw Wall-E, for the first time ever yesterday morning. It's amazing. I feel like just an idiot being like a year late seeing it, just like with Superbad, just bit different, 2 years late.Big Smile [:D] Both Superbad and Wall-E are really great. I don't want to spoil the ending of Wall-E, it had me in tears at first then it made me smile but after it had finished I was still crying as it that lovely!Smily [:)]

Going on a little holiday today to Snowdon, so.... won't be back until Sunday. Will be back to working on the documentary and stuff related to my life   [oh yeah, I have a real-life! JK, I really do have a real-life and do lots of stuff, I was just messing aboutBig Smile [:D]]. Starting University on Wendesday [is that how you spell that? I can never remember how to spell that, lol.Stick out tongue [:P]].

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

Back from short holiday. Was fun. Had a lot of it.

I'm thinking of starting to work on something only I thought of doing a day ago, a condensed version of Aspirations. It'll probably be 13 mins long, maybe 14. I haven't figured it out yet. I'm basically taking out the analyzing bits. It's a very long film anyways, 25 mins. I did cut down stuff a lot in the analyzing parts, as a lot of the original stuff had to be cut down in my opinion, it went on too long. However,as this film had a sign you can't be finished hence when the virus hit my computer I could only export films under 5 mins long with them having no lipsynch problems. So.... that's why I originally released it in parts. I'm thinking of maybe starting it tonight, the condensed verison of Aspirations. It'll basically be the same film but the analyzing parts will be taken out. I thought it deserved to be in the film, don't get me wrong, I cut those bits down a lot compared to what they ran like originally but I think it's G o o d [Good] to condense a film like this. Will update you guys on the progress. I thought of some amusing ideas to add in the documentary on my career, don't want to spoil.

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

Finished editing the new ending. Going to upload it as a bit of preview viewing before it's in the actual condensed version of the film. I think it's very G o o d [Good], short and sweet. I could have gone on a little bit but hey, I don't like to go on, lol.Big Smile [:D] I like to keep things short and sweet when they need to be, like here.

Basically, the ending goes like this [bit of background info]:

Brad and Sally don't get on originally. Then, Brad sees the G o o d [Good] in Sally that she's abandoned Judy and her other false friends. They bump into each-other [near the end of the film] in which they seem to have a bond just as friends, nothing serious. That's that covered. Then, the alternate ending for this version kicks in showing them bumping into each-other which you see in the film before at this stage and I show a montage which expands over weeks and months in terms of what is going on. I could have used more but I wanted to keep it short and sweet, not go on, you know.Smily [:)]

More news to come on this condensed version of Aspirations.

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

Hey there. Work on the condensed version of Aspirations is going very G o o d [Good]. I was thinking of doing another film, one I wrote recently, SWALF 5 [she will always live forever 5] but I've decided no for quite a few reasons.

No.1= bit late for it now

No.2= The series finale had a very G o o d [Good] response and no need to maybe possibly mess it up now [Big Smile [:D]]

No.3= Done 3 tributes since saying I'm done with the Movies, making animated films with the Movies.

    So..... there you have it.

I will be uploading the series trailer of SWALF I made last year on TMU or Youtube. Will update you on that soon. Just as a way of remembering it, it's not like dead or anything [of course!Big Smile [:D]]. You can still download it on my Filefront and watch it, you know.Smily [:)]

I might hand over the script for someone to make it themselves as a spin-off, you know but we'll have to wait and see. The script was very G o o d [Good], it didn't involve any of the previous characters as they're all dead by this point. So.... I think you can see what I mean when I had to end it where I did in 2006, 3 years ago, lol.Stick out tongue [:P]

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

Just finished editing the re-cap to open SWALF 5.  I won't be directing the film. I will be quite involved in it but I'm not directing it. I'm going to hand over the film to a TMO director of my choice. Of which I've already decided on and have sent that person a PM on the matter. I do have a back-up if the person I have asked feels they've got too much on their plate. I will be up for credits in the movie as an actor in it and for "Written by Derbyrams" credit as I wrote it. I typed it this morning and changed bits to make it stronger. It's a very G o o d [Good] script.

Short but still great imo. I think it had to be short though as the idea of another SWALF was put in the bin [not literally, lol] because all the main characters are dead and yup.... hard to follow on from that. So.... what I did is write a very G o o d [Good] little film that references the last two massively and just how it all started. It's a very clever, little script. Can't wait to see it all put together and finished.Smily [:)]

    More news to come soon.

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

Finished editing the condensed version of Aspirations. It will be coming out today, later on today that is. In a few hours it'll be out.

Going to upload it onto Motionbox at first, possibly Youtube later on, maybe later on today for Youtube as there's a 10 minute limit. The movie is 15 mins long. So.... yup.

Also, been working on SWALF 5. I will now also be the editor and an actor in it. Making G o o d [Good] progress so far.

Made a teaser trailer yesterday for it:

    http://www.motionbox.com/videos/4c96d2b71e1ee6c5c3

there ya go. It's a G o o d [Good] trailer. Showing past events of the last two films and showing a glimpse of what's about to come, the new film.Smily [:)]

More news to come on SWALF 5 later.Up []

BTW, I will be re-releasing CC5 in it's full way it was supposed to be. I did a 5 minute version in July, which I'm going to piece together as a full 5 minute video of what I worked on in July [one just gone]. So... look out for that. It's a better version compared to the original in my honest opinion. Reasons being: Me and my cousin's last performances [given we lost the voices for those characters as our voices matured] as the Jamaican and Steve's wife are in it briefly. I put together a little scene to lead up to the montage as you saw in the original cut. I think it's pretty fantastic, the way I put it together, will be nice to have it in it's full version [5 mins] instead of in parts.

One last thing, it's quite something looking back at this old thread. Just had a look at my first post on the first page from Late 2007. Quote myself "Aspirations is one of my last 6 TMO movies".

So.... guess I was kinda right:

    1. Acceptance [Feb 2008]

    2. Time [July 2008]

    3. CC5 [January 2009]

    4. Aspirations [June/September 2009]

    5. SWALF 5 [Coming soon- October 2009]

Freaky how you past self can tell the truth for the future to come! LOL!Stick out tongue [:P]Big Smile [:D]

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

Just decided I will be releasing 3 versions of Aspirations very soon.

I will be releasing the condensed version [which is coming out later on today], the extended version [with the deleted scenes and an extended scene I made, will be about 20/21 mins] and the original cut [25 mins, with no deleted scenes added in, no extended scenes or anything like that]. Just thought it makes sense given it's my last big TMO movie, you know.Smily [:)]

All of which have 3 different endings. The original cut's ending is that bullying happens, analyzing lady talking about it briefly, G o o d [Good] ending. The condensed version's ending shows more of what happenned to Sally and Brad after they finish talking, what happens weeks and months later after the conversation. The extended version's ending will be showing a scene I did cut out originally for the condensed version and the original version but will be perfect for the extended version. It involves Brad walking by the school corridor one day and Judy is in his path. He ignores her but she takes notice. There's no dialogue used in it but the music brings across that so.... no need for dialogue.

    More news to come soon.

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

I've been thinking long and hard about doing SWALF 5, if it's the right choice and I've come to the verdict that I don't want to do it. Reasons being:

    1. Been like 3 years since the franchise finished and the franchise finale was very well received

    2. I don't personally see my computer taking it anymore [my computer is like really trippy, crashing quite a bit, more than it used to]

    3. Done 12 TMO films

    4. It's been like 4 months almost since I originally said this is the end and I'm starting University so..... I want to get my teeth into it [not literally of course].

    5. I think I finished on a high note with Aspirations

Don't get me wrong, it was a very G o o d [Good] script. It's just given all these reasons above it's not for me to do really. Just my honest feelings on the matter. Plus, I don't think I'll be doing that TMO documentary as I also feel that's too much. Done 3 TMO tributes of my work over the past 3 years, I feel that that's enough. Yes, they were subtle in what they were covering, 3 years of work but they were still all great.

I will still be working on the DVD's for Aspirations and Comedy corner. So... that's still going ahead.

    *Update*

I still stand by my decision to not make SWALF 5 myself but I have come to the decision to still let a TMO director of my choice [who is very interested by the project] to direct it and we'll see where that goes.

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

I have come down to the final decision that SWALF 5 will be made but [big but] it will be made as a collaborative project in that quite a few people will be credited for having directed the film. I will be in the list there as well. It will list as this: Directed by Josephkw, Lucindamc123 and Derbyrams. Also, I will be adding another credit for a special guest director, who of which will be Mollyrulz9999. I just feel this is necessary as we all have paved the way for the direction this movie is going on from the script and seeing as they will be very much involved in the movie I think it would be very pointless to not recognise their help in making this all possible. So.... there you have it. I won't be making another tribute even though technically [in a way] this is my film as I'm shooting it, editing it and I've written it.

Adding it all up together though, I haven't made it on my own, it's a collaborative project. One of which will take some time as I've been busy with my University course. I'm coping ok at the moment.

    More news to come soon.

    *Update*

Made G o o d [Good] progress on SWALF 5 today. I have finished the opening and ending credits. I have recently shot all the action sequences [from 2 weeks ago]. So.... that's all done. I have also shot a bit of other bits of the movie, out of sequence, you know. I'm looking to make another trailer soon. In other news, I will be releasing a re-release of CC5. One of which is very special as it features our last performances as The Jamaican and Steve's wife. We did a session in August 2007. Of which can be seen from the live action video I uploaded a while back. I think it's really important to show our last performances, before we lost the voices and they matured. That's what aging does to you, lolBig Smile [:D]. It doesn't really matter on the plus side though, I think this is the right version of the film I wanted to make in the end and I think the longer version wouldn't have been as G o o d [Good]. I thought it was too long and it seemed like we didn't need to go there, all the depth thing. I think the condensed version I've done is short and sweet. All in all, it adds up to being 6 mins long, compared to the shorter cut which is 2 mins and 40 secs. More news to come on this and the condensed version of Aspirations soon!Up []Smily [:)]

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

Hi there everyone. I've decided to cut down the special features for the DVD of Aspirations. Reason being, me and a friend [who starred in the film] will be doing a commentary for the film [which you can turn on or off] which will cover a lot in the making of the movie and so on. So... no need to go crazy.Big Smile [:D]

Basically, it'll run basically like this:

    Disc 1: [12 certificate overall]

    Feature film:

    1. Original cut [25 mins] [12 certificate]

    2. Condensed version [15 mins] [12 certificate]

    3. Extended version [21 minutes] [12 certificate]

    *Commentary [for original cut]

    Plus:

    *Music video [3:37]

*Trailers [21 minutes] [trailers of my past films and more recent]

    Disc 2: [12 certicate overall]

    *Inspirations featurette [16 mins]

*Deleted scenes and extended scene [5:32]

    *Production schedule timeline [2:43]

    *Aspirations tribute [2:31]

    Disc 3: [12 certificate overall]

    *TMO career tribute 1 [11:08] [May 2009] [12]

    *TMO career tribute 2 [5:27] [July 2009] [12]

    *TMO career tribute 3 [6:12] [September 2009] [12]

    Plus other features:

*Acceptance [9:02] [PG certificate] [Feb 2008]

*Time [5:03] [PG certificate] [July 2008]

    *SWALF 3 [12:50] [12 certificate] [Oct 2006]

    *SWALF 4 [12:28] [12 certificate] [Nov 2006]

As I said before on those dvd's, they will be free and they are limited.... so.... I'm only sending a few out to fans of my work. The Comedy corner series dvd is still a working process. I plan to do commentaries over the 5 films [with a G o o d [Good] friend of mine, who is also a big fan of the series tooSmily [:)]] and possibly call that it. I don't know, we'll see.Smily [:)]

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

Hi everyone. Saw the imaginarium of doctor parnassus today. I thought it was very G o o d [Good], it would get a 7/10 from me. It was great to see Heath ledger one last time, me and my friend who went to see it as well both got rather sad watching it, weird watching someone when they're actually gone. He's in the movie a lot so I don't think Heath ledger fans will be dissapointed. I loved the whole fantasy part to it, i love those type of films, stuff you can escape into, escapism. there was also quite a lot of humour in the film which i enjoyed very much.

I saw Crank 2 yesterday, it was very G o o d [Good] but a bit un-even in quite a few places [5 scenes in the movie weren't very G o o d [Good]]. i liked it but i would give it a 3.7/5.0. Whereas the first movie would get 4.4/5.0. I found the movie a lot more original and found the sequel to copy quite a few things. Having said that, i did enjoy the movie as a whole, just found it more farfetched than it needed to be in places and that's saying a lot given the whole concept of the first crank.Stick out tongue [:P] About 5 scenes I didn't like, the bit at the end with the preserved brain was beyond the point of being stupid. I enjoy ridiculous movies like Crank but i thought that was really stupid, the whole thing of him talking to Chevlios, it was really silly. The ending was pretty crap, a dissapointment. Chevlios was on fire and didn't seem to care, i thought he'd burn off himself in the big pool, guess he couldn't be bothered to take a dip.Big Smile [:D]

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

In terms of where i am with other things in my life, the uni course is going very well. i'm enjoying it and like what we're doing. it's fun. The only thing i don't like is we watched a terrible film recently. Manhattan by Woody allen. Thankgod we don't have to do an assignment on it, i couldn't wait for it to bloody finish. I think it's just me, i don't like woody allen's material, don't think i'll watch another one of his films. seen 2 he's done and they were hard enough for me.Stick out tongue [:P]

SWALF 5 is going well. I haven't made new progress as yet as i'm busy with real-life commitments but i'm happy with where i am with the project at the moment. I would say a December release date sounds about right given where i am now with the project. so.... yup.

Me and a friend of mine did the commentary for aspirations [the original cut] and i started editing it up today. I've done the first bit but only really just started editing it. it's going G o o d [Good] so far. Will let you know when that's done.

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

    *Update*

The other night i thought up a very clever extended ending for the extended version of aspirations. I have recently written up everything into the original version of the script for this extended cut. Having said that, to be completly frank this version is more than the condensed version. Both in terms of story and content. In terms of content, this cut will be receiving a 15 certificate. This is due to some more strong language which is included in this cut and some quite sexual stuff going on [in montages] and yup..... the ending is pretty brutal as well. Don't want to spoil it, so.... there ya go.

The original cut and the condensed version are still staying as 12's as the content is fine for a 12 cut. I just feeling that looking over the extended cut there is extra stuff in it [which isn't in the original and condensed cuts] that isn't appropiate for a 12 certificate. I hope you respect my decision, people can still see it. I'm just warning you that it's going to be a bit you know, the extended version.

It's due out in Late November, the extended version. So..... yup, i will update the progress of it from now till then.Up []Smily [:)]

Re: ~Aspirations~ *New Official production thread*

Hey there everyone. I have recently finished the CC series boxset special edition dvd, which will include all as stated above in previous posts. I will say that I understand that I released aspirations in not the best way I could have but to be honest I just use the in-game editor and then since I hit that virus in Late Feb [was shut-down for 2 months, felt like it was the end]. I understand it's very frustrating but at the end of the day that's not my fault, that I hit a virus and because that, that really pushed me behind schedule. Which is why now, a year on i'm still where I was last year. Anyways, given that some were dissapointed it wasn't released in a full piece [which i completly understand] I have done a big special feature package for the dvd totalling 84 mins. So.... I think that makes up for it in a way.

    Anyways, it will contain this:
    Disc 1:
    *Condensed cut [15 mins]
    *Original cut [if i'm lucky]

    Disc 2:
    *Making of featurette
    *Execution of certain scenes
    *Aspirations tribute 2
    *TMO Career tributes 1, 2 and 3

    Disc 3:
    *Deleted scenes
    *One extended scene
    *Production timeline
    *Aspirations tribute 1
    *Inspirations featurette

There ya go. I wouldn't bet on me getting out the original, 25 minute cut, especially given I think the 15 mins version works fine for the DVD, cut down version if you like. Not to say the original version was rubbish because it honestly was very G o o d [Good] I think. It's just, I don't think there's a safe gamble on me getting the original cut out. Perhaps it was meant to be, that aspirations took forever, my final biggest TMO movie. Having just finished an extended cut of CC5 [for the dvd] that also felt the same way.
I'm very pleased with how the extended cut turned out, it may be a different kind of comedy corner you would expect but the response from some people who have seen it [yes, i've previewed it to a few Comedy corner fans who of which I still have G o o d [Good] contact with] is very positive so far. I think that movie was meant to be because when you see it all cut up together perhaps it was supposed to be our last session doing those two characters that were larger than life to us and are one of the many reasons Comedy corner was successful in the first place. That's why I put together this dvd, so I can showcase the extended cut with the other movies [including the original cut of CC5 which isn't as G o o d [Good] as what is the extended cut now].

Yet again, this brings me onto my next piece of news. I will be making another SWALF, SWALF 5. I don't see it as a new movie because 1 it's a collaborative project [our movie together] and also it's not really a sequel or a prequel technically. Given none of the previous characters make an appearance [given by this point in the story all the backstory and everything with their characters has been told and most of the main characters are dead, 6/8 main characters are dead. The only two which aren't dead are Kent and The reverend [played by MGMkid in SWALF 4]. The thing is I really want to make this movie, I personally love the script and people have been very positive [those i've shown the script to so far]. It may not be the longest movie in the franchise [to be honest I don't know how long a film will be until it's all edited in post], I know it won't be but what I like is that it's very short and to the point. Of which in a way my last few movies have been like [apart from Aspirations of course, which is longer].

*Acceptance [director, actor, producer and editor]
    [Feb 2008] [PG]

    *Time [director, producer and editor]
    [July 2008] [PG]

*CC5 [director, actor, producer, editor and
    mollyrulz9999- external editor]
[original cut- january 2009, extended cut- november 2009]
    [15- both cuts]

*Aspirations [director, actor, producer, editor and
    mollyrulz9999-external editor]
[original cut- June 2009, condensed cut- coming soon]
    [12- both cuts]

*SWALF 5 [collaborator, actor, producer, editor
    and external editor-mollyrulz9999]
    [coming soon- March 2010]
    [Rating To be announced]

From that list it shows a lot of my last few TMO films in my TMO filmography [if you will] have been worked on a lot by me. The last one is the definate last one, SWALF 5. I'm technically not directing it as the idea is a few of my TMO fans/friends will be working on it for the course of the next 4 months. To be honest, I have done a lot of the movie already so.... I may being optimistic there. As of yet I have done the 3 minute re-cap, I have done the opening and end credits [with music]. On top of that I have shot all the action sequences in the movie. All I need to do is just shoot the dialogue pieces and we're half way closer. I will preview the movie when it comes out in March 2010 or before that but like I say I'm being optimistic for the moment.

Anyways, that's about it. I just know quite a few SWALF fans got a bit like "shame there's no more SWALF". I understand but I was stumped for ages as I thought to myself "How can I bring back a franchise in such a way that gives it a new perspective and relates to what's happenned before without it being boring?
What I came up with in the end I think is very clever and I really like it. This will be a fun last movie to work on.

BTW, Uni course is going fine, I'm passing atm. It's hard to adjustment to the new equipment which I've never used before but I'm doing fine. I have a set date for Aspirations [the live action version- 40 mins alternate cut], which is 2014. I'm just being optimistic yet again. I want to concerntrate on my uni course for the moment and really settle in more. Last year I knew I had to rise my game and do less work on TM because the end of my A-levels were approaching and I knew I couldn't be a lazy *** like I was back in 2007 [I got G o o d [Good] grades and passed mostly everything but I could have done better if I put my mind to it]. I learnt from my mistake in 2007 and I think I did very well in the last year attaining 1 A, 1 B, 1 C and an E at A-level [which are all passes, yay].

I think that's the longest post I've ever written or at least second longest compared to that first one in September I did.
