There was no official release date for the video diary, rather there was a rough estimate as to when it would release. Also, the diary has already been sent to the proper department of XBL and is just awaiting final approval, so it's out of Lionhead's hands. The video diary will get posted all in due time; please be patient.

Sam, So Dev Diary 4 is at Microsoft for Certification for xbox live.  Why can't you post the diary on Lionhead.com and XBOX live will get it a few days late?

Or does Live have Exclusive rights to the 4th Diary?

I could understand the Certification process if this was a Demo or ingame content but its not.

Another game I followed was Mass Effect and they would have trailers and Developer diary type videos and they would be released on the internet first and a few days to a week later they would show up on Live.  Mass Effect was published by Microsoft as well. 

I'm not sure if this Microsoft's doing or it's just that Sam wants the video to be available at the same time for PC Internet users and the live users.  But I can't imagine anyone who has XBOX Live not having access to the internet to browse.

what? why would they not work on Saturday or Sunday. I'm sorry, and I still love Lionhead, but that is very stupid. Say it takes 3 years to make a game. There are 52 weeks in a year. 52*2=104, 104*3=312. They are missing nearly a third of their possible development days.

What exactly is the equation to calculate their loss of life spent making the video game. Keep in mind, these guys have to live "outside" the world of the forums, fable, and even Lionhead.

Calm down everyone, patience, patience. Really the diary will be out soon. Lionhead can't post the video on here until Microsoft gives them the ok to do so. Microsoft is lionheads boss in many ways. this is one of them. It's not so much that we're waiting for it to go up on Live, as the fact LH is just waiting for the all clear. Remeber LH diary #3 it was almost a week before we seen it on Live after it was posted here.

I never thought I'd have to tell this to a mod but, read back a page or two. You obviously missed the whole part where I explained what happened and that it was all a misunderstanding. This is long over and I'd prefer if it wasn't brought back up again.

Mods are human too you know.  Don't worry about it, it was just a simple oversight.  So no worries, alright?

Also i doubt it is that difficult to put up a video on Live, how long could it take ? One hour ? Even that seems like an exaggeration actually
