You guys are turning this into a much bigger deal than it needs to be.  The video diary will come out when it comes out.  A difference of a couple of days (or even a week) shouldn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.  Like I've said a number of times now; have a little patience.

Did you read any of the past posts in this thread?  It was Sam's decision to have them be released at the same time, not MS.  He could've released the video on the Internet days ago but he said it was "cool" to have them release on Live and the internet at the same time.

I see nothing cool in getting the video a month later, and i doubt Sam would do see a benefit there as well IMO, probably MS said "do not post the video on the net, before it gets on Live"

Ok, it seems we aren't understanding each other.

 I've already said it doesn't make sense because everyone that has XBOX live most likely has a PC with the ability to browse the net.  I would prefer if they do it like most developers do and release it on the Net and let Microsoft certify the Live version and release it whenever it's ready. 

My point is though is that Sam already posted about the release decision and why he made it.  I don't agree with his reasoning at all but I'm not going to call him a liar.

Those people that are needed to put it up on Live took their vacation. and noone knows for sure when they will be back, so that video could well be delayed to fabruary, if they return 15 january, and until they put it up could take some more weeks

It is a bit crazy if you think it is ready for a week now

Where do you come up with this crap?  Either you have a very bad memory or your reading comprehension is very poor like I said earlier: "That is 100% Certain".

Show me where I called him a liar?  Show me the quotes.  Don't accuse me of this nonsense if you can't back it up.

Now when you call me a "bit crazy" for thinking "it is ready for a week now"; what are you talking about?  Are you talking about it passing Microsoft's Certification for XBOX Live?  I never once said the Certification process was finished.  Are you talking about the #4 Video Diary itself being completed?  It is completed and that's a fact.  What it I did say is that Sam could've released the Diary on the Internet days ago, just not on XBOX Live.

So in your opinion, how would this "well covered conspiracy" you speak of benefit Microsoft or Lionhead?  Please explain your thoughts on this.  I'm sure it's hilarious.

I believe it will be out early January. I also think it is cool to put it on XBL at the same time as the Web. (I'll be downloading it on both )
I want Lionhead and Microsoft to do what ever will generate the most buzz and having it out on both at the same time is more likely to do that. More Buzz More Success More Fable Games in the future (I hope)

I almost agree with Sam on this, releasing an anticipated dev diary in two locations at once seems nice and organized to me.  Not only does it help funnel the "buzz" around the video it also makes for keeping track of overall reception (i.e. hits, download stats, etc.) much easier.  But whatever the reasoning, I assure you there was no "conspiracy".

Having spoken with Sam quite often through my time here and having known him fairly well over the past two years, I can assure you Sam is a groovy guy that can be relied upon.  If Sam says it is such...then it is so. 

Anyway, let us move on shall we?  I'd hate to have to lock this thread up for some silly little dispute.

I imagine the problem is most of the Live crew is on Vacation so that is why the problem is persisting, and the fact live that Traffic on Live is probably highest this time of year with the Holidays.  Dissapointing considering a deal of us with Live don't have much time to play online with work and the time we get off live isn't even working.

Hope their vocations do not last until march !!! I would like to have that video in fabruary at least, but the more i think of it, the more it gets like a distant dream, could be weeks until they come back from holiday, and bother putting it up

I am loosing interest every single passing day TBH, in the end sometime will come out, and i may not even want to watch it anymore

I spoke with live support, and they said that they are hoping the problem will be fixed this upcoming week, so maybe that is when they are off break? atleast it hopefully won't be too long...
