Couldn't pick up the sound, but being able to move everything, in that house, is cool.

Re: Dimitri - Fact or Fiction?

I hope this question hasn't been asked yet, but does anyone remember an interview where Mr Molyneux said that he was looking at the concept of games talking to each other? A concept everyone had found confusing. Did I read that or am I remembering it wrong? If I am remembering it correctly do you think he was referring to this project when he talked about it? Hmm [^o)]

Hopes to work with Lionhead one day...

Re: Dimitri - Fact or Fiction?

I believe that was at GDC 2008.  He was introducing the Xbox Live arcade games for Fable 2.  Molyneux mentions it at about 2:09 in this video.

    Who's to say that it'll be exclusive to Fable 2 though.Huh? [:^)]

Was that thread back in 2005? So maybe it'll be released, soon after Fable 2. I acknowledge you're genius, even when others thought you should be in a straight jacket, back then.Stick out tongue [:P]

Re: Dimitri - Fact or Fiction?

Ok this is pure speculation and me half believing it half admiting that I am crazy...

But Peter M. is famous by his talk on emotions. Now, is it possible that the Dimitri project is related to AI actually feeling emotions, not just portraying or acting emotions?! I mean, that would be something everybody believed to be impossible and something that when released, would feature in magazine covers.

Also Dimitri, very much like B&W would be more of a tech game. One where they explore the possibilities of a certain engine rather than a compeling gamestory (I really like B&W, don't take me wrong).

Anyway my compliments to Mort and Giffdud (checking your thread next) this is, if anything else very entertaining.

Re: Dimitri - Fact or Fiction?

The one thing I'm really feeling is maybe a 50's feel. I keep looking at the pictures, and wondering what exactly this game is about? Everything in the game seems to be movable. I wonder if we make our own storyline, or do they have one? It's all pretty impressive, just wish I knew more about it. The one picture where Demitri, appears huge, towering, over the whole place.

Re: Dimitri - Fact or Fiction?

I had the same feeling when I saw the art work. However, if the room demo is in anything related (I think it isIndifferent [:|]) ... time would be, to an extent, not an issue. I mean I heard Peter M. talking about how you could manipulate things, not only in space but also in time.

The picture with "Dimitri"Ninja [:ninja:] bigger than the buildings (there is a second one like that, but you only see is feet on someone's garage front) could be the portal/mirror effectParanoid [:aranoid:], that he demonstrated with the orange.

I am guessing you saw the video already, but for anyone who hasn't, here is the linkClassic [:classic:]:

Re: Dimitri - Fact or Fiction?

while the room is an awesome tech demonstration and all, i'm fairly certain it's not related to any of their games right now

Well E3 is soon, perhaps we will finally be given a glimps of a new upcoming Lionhead game?

Fable 2 took me by surprise,2 years ago. Gosh, been two years already. Well i am sure it was two years ago.Paranoid [:aranoid:]
