Please... Please make CO-OP online. I dont wanna have to invite my friends over every time i want to play CO-OP. To be honest CO-OP is so where its at these days... I dothave time to play games single player....

 

SO PLEASE, make CO-OP online.....

Well, the game is pretty much complete... so if they are going to have Online co-op it will allready be done (and they will be testing / fixing it)

People asked in the video "(question time)" about Online play, and he said that he couldn;t talk about it... this lead me to believing that there will be online play !
The same with Player Vs Player....
Peter Actually said "And we can;t talk abotu PvP at this point either"...
This really must mean that we are getting online features... and with some sort of Player Vs Player things..

Someone asked "Co-op... does it work online?"
PM says "That would be FANTASTIC wouldn't it... what a shame I can;t talk about the whole Co-op at the moment"

I think it is very simple top be on-line

So we age in game, but do you age in co-op? Think about it, time goes by in the world as you play, so ofcourse your character ages. But what if you're in another's world for long stints of time, would you still age? Then, would your age carry back into your game? Let's say 6 months pass while playing co-op in another's world, when you go back to yours would the 6 months of aging carry over?

My line of thought is this, you spend so much time in other people's worlds, aging and what not, that you get so old that you can't complete the main quest-ish thing.

That, and i was just wondering if your loved ones would react accordingly to you being gone for an extended period of time.

Since Peter mentioned he wants people to feel rewarded for playing Co-Op it would seem like punishment to most people to age when doing it, so therefore I expect your main game is essentially on pause as would your characters simulated life cycle is when in someone elses game. You get to level, create new scars and body morphs and maybe 'Age from magic use' but no time has really passed. Meh, what do I know??

yea that's something to think about lol.like if you just start a game and dont do anything in your own world, and right away jump into your friend's world for (real life) hours. and you come back to your world older and experienced, yet you havent completed a thing.....now THATS freedom

if it is online (im pretty sure it will be), i think the screen will look exactly like co-op offline. just the veiw would be your perspective. it doesnt seem like it will be to hard to do.

Well, that definitly is freedom! Think of it like this though, you could end up being a 10 year old POWERHOUSE, just rocking the face off anything you come across! Taking it one step further, you could be the owner of Albion at an age where you're barely a few years into the ability to talk!

It's about freedom, man. If you invite someone into your world, it's your responsibility. If they do something wrong, boot them off your world (if possible)

well i think i remember peter saying that instead of getting scares u can pay money ... and take care of ur body .. so maybe u can do the same against aging ... like a youth potion  so u can live much longer than a normal person. so it wont matter if u age in co-op..

If you watch all the video's and stuff...

There is no radar...
I fact... when I last saw the HUD (recent update was The Keynote video)
There are only 4 small ball shaped things on the left hand side...
(probably showing what weapons you have...)

The HUD is gone... for

and Instead... you have a dog, who points out things, and tells you where enemies are my looking at them or sniffing near them..

People can move around still, and you can still interact with NPC's or Creatures
But Time itself would stop, so you wouldn't age

Or maybe when you're in / about to join co-op... you'd get an option for turning agin on or whatever

I think if it is co-op, then there would be no reson to do the camera thing... Players should be free to roam... why not...? For same console play, 2 players, i can see the need for the camera keeping both players in view... but online... no need..........

I think it will be online my question is will both players be on the same 360 or will you have to have  2 xbox 360s for co-op play hooked up at the same time to play co-op
