How many people can join your world?

Is there a limit to how many people you can have in your world?

Re: How many people can join your world?

For off-line or what we call "couch co-op" one person can join your world as a henchman, on-line is unknown.  May I suggest you check out the “Fable 2 Feature List” thread at the top of the forum, it is loaded with great info. Smily [:)]

As far as I know, 1.

Just a little advice don't start a thread for each of your question, do one with all of them or search a little and you'll found many answer, I'm sure.

You should check this thread: Fable 2 Feature List

Re: How many people can join your world?

Unlikely WOW is a MMORPG and fable world is not big enough to be one, but it may be a MORPG like D&D online. Where players could come to your world or you can go to there world that is on their Xbox and not some server LH has.

Also keep in mind they're not "joining" your world.  They're simply visiting.  Wink [;)]

Re: How many people can join your world?

I believe PM said in a recent interview that the framerate would be completely insane if your henchman's dog would be in the game too (meaning two dogs within one world). I wonder if this also means that more than 2 people, plus a dog and everything else is simply impossible. Of course, boundaries need to be set when it comes to framerate.

Also, remember that being a henchman is a job for the other player; a way of earning money in Albion. The amount of henchman you have possibly depends on how much money you have, I guess.

That would be kinda cool. Hmm [^o)]

Re: How many people can join your world?

Actually my theory as to the second half of co-op is that there will be worlds on the Xbox live servers that we can go to. So after you have done everything in your and your king of your world you can go off and explore new lands and bring back treasures to you world. I think that would make Fable 2 the first multi and/or solo player online role playing game.

Re: How many people can join your world?

I can see maybe three or four players off adventuring together on Xbox Live, but then again combat would get kind of hectic. But hey who knows what the other fifty percent of co-op might be. I'm just glad that we're going to be among the first to find out and discuss new features!Cheeky [:cheeky:]

    co-op question

ok i just read in the features section that the guest will get an hourly rate for helping the host....heres the question who paying them? is the game automatically goin to or does it come out of the host's pocket?

    Re: co-op question

Every hour, the exp/gold/renown gained in that hour by both is divied up how the host set it up when the henchman joined.  That's how I understood it, at least.

It costs the host money, (correct me if I'm wrong Hmm [^o)]) just as if you hired a henchman in "real life" to protect you.  Wink [;)]

As for the amount of money the host pays, it depends on how the host set it up.  Wink [;)]

    Re: co-op question

If you want to play with a friend? If you need help with a quest/boss? So they can kill your nagging wife/husband so you don't take the rap? So both of you can prance through the flowers/slaughter whole villages together and have a nice cold one at the end of it? The list goes on...

    Re: co-op question

Co-op is going to be brilliant. If they haven't bought one by the time this game comes out (although a couple are very tempted and GTA IV should push them over the edge) the ability to co-op on this game, especially if it's online, should get my mates to buy 360s!

I believe that the gold is payed by the game. It would make sense if you think about it: If I join my friend from the very beginning where he is still extremely poor (note that you start out as a kid from the gutter) he would probably not be able to come up with enough money for anything worth "working" for. Additionally I think the gold is devided by the players for doing assignments and work together (the host decides how big of a percentage).

Wow, building up that friend list early, eh?Stick out tongue [:P]

If LIVE co-op is announced (we all know it will be though Wink [;)] ), Im sure threads such as this will be ten-a-penny, so congrats on being the first of many!

In a related note Im still interested in how our Live IDs/linked Gamertags will be used to interact with the game. Didn't Molyneux say that in Fable 2 you will bring together a band of Heroes like the magnificent 7 or something? What if that band of heroes was...online friends?Ninja [:ninja:]

Maybe we could create groups for our 'Band of Heroes' to swap/merge game data or something?

I don't know. Im think Im obsessed with the gamertag linking thing (Curse you Bungie! *shakes fist*), and Im over tired. Forgive my rambling and G o o d [Good]-night. Sleeping [:zleeping:]
