This is no joke. Aparment complexes in England can range anywhere around 2200 pounds (or dollars, not quite sure) per month for rent, if I remember correctly. Tongue Tied [:S]

Or is that not G o o d [Good] enough for you?  Hmm [^o)]

    Not really.

I suppose if some of you want to be angry you will be, if only out of principal.

Frankly I thought they announced some pretty interesting things:

    • Co-op is now going to be included in Fable 2 allowing a second player to jump in or out of the game at any time, without the visual annoyance of split screen.
    • These guest players can take with them any gold and experience they acquire in their friend's game world.
    • Guest players can kill the host players family if they so desire.
    • The host can decide how much of a split the guest recieves in gold and experience.
    • You can turn off the "safety" in your world allowing your guest to attack things in your world.
    • It's possible to attack your dog in the game.
    • Peter was able to accidentally kill his guest in the last demo which suggests PvP combat.
    • A gambling mini-game in the Fable 2 universe can be played in advance via XBL.
    • Money acquired in this mini-game can then be imported for use in Fable 2.
    • You'll get more experience for a G o o d [Good] "style" of fighting and less experience for "button mashing".
    • Instead of picking up gold from dead enemies you'll have to rely on getting gold through gambling (as previously mentioned) or acquiring different jobs in the game world.
    • Confirmed jobs are blacksmith, assassin, and henchmen.
    • Fable 2 screenshots have been released.
    • We've seen, for the first time, Fable 2 hobbes in the actual game world.
    • Shops in villages will offer you free items if you've happened to save that village from an E v i l [Evil] of some kind.
    • When you marry somebody you become a part of that community.
    • You can have a dowry during marriage.
    • You can have a father-in-law due to marriage.
    • Six hours into the game you will have to sacrifice something precious.  As Molyneux states, "You will put down the controller and ask, what am I going to do?"
    • Instead of mini-maps there's a new breadcrumb system.
    • Albion is 10 times larger this time around.
    • There are 11 fully free-roaming regions.
    • There are roughly 30 dungeons to explore.
    • There's 100 augmentable weapons.
    • There's 70 augmentable clothes.
    • There are 20 different tattoos and haircuts.
    • There are 8 different spell types allowing for 80 different spells in total.
    • There are more than 150 unique quests.
    • More than half a dozen mini-games.
    • Over 160,000 recorded lines of AI dialogue.
    • Each tree in Fable 2 has roughly 120,000 leaves each.

You're right.  Lionhead didn't reveal anything interesting at all at GDC.  What was I thinking?  Huh? [:^)]

    Re: Fable 2 @ GDC 2008

    sCM redruM:

    Peter Molyneux From GDC:
He said, "I was really disappointed in you lot. I expected more of you to be E v i l [Evil]. 70 percent were pure G o o d [Good]y G o o d [Good]ies, and only 5 percent managed to play all the way through the game as E v i l [Evil]. So this time, I'm going to make it really, really tough being G o o d [Good]."

Man, that is fcking bullsh*t...goD damn that fcking irritates me...

WTF do you expect when you give us G o o d [Good] Points for killing Baddies?? Are you expecting us not to kill the Baddies who attack us?? We should just have run away every time a Bandit shot his Crossbow at us, boy you guys are brilliant...

So, apparently it's OUR FAULT because you put a trash mechanic in the game...Hell, we practically became Saints by walking from Bowerstone to Oakvale because of the enemies on the roads...

Obviously it's our fault, it's not your fault, it's us...Because we told you to give us G o o d [Good] Points for gaining experience, that's it, you've pin pointed it...

Man, they had that same bullsh*t statistic like a year ago and I got mad back then, and this didn't help...You people at Lionhead do not understand that concept...

We had NO WAY of becoming E v i l [Evil] without doing ridiculously stupid things...We had to go out of our way to be E v i l [Evil]...We had to fight guards for like 10 minutes to offset the G o o d [Good] Points we got while just traveling and fighting...

So you're blaming us for not fighting guards and killing villagers every other second?? Being E v i l [Evil] means you have to be a moron and attack innocent NPCs?? That's your definition of E v i l [Evil]??

You might as well blame us for not being overweight in the game either...I guess it's our fault we didn't want to go out of our way to constantly eat and keep up with the fact that, you automatically start getting thinner within minutes after getting fat...

Yeah, I don't hear you people at Lionhead bringing up that little fact...I don't see you people at Lionhead doing background checks on "fat/skinny" Heroes, yet the same rules apply there...

You made it abundantly clear you wanted us to be G o o d [Good]...Then you turn around and blame us for that, because you guys fcked up?? You people just don't get it, it's fcking ridiculous...My goD, no fcking way are we getting blamed for your mechanics, you messed up, then told us we did something wrong, that is utter bullsh*t...

    So true Disappointed [:isappoin]

Context sensitivity is a whole other problem. Especially for a mage since will is all about having control.

But Fable 2 is all about accessability. As is said time and time again, you can button mash through it or you can learn the system to find the situations that earn you the most experience. I don't see how Will should be immune from this.

Are there any videos that can better illustrate the 3 big features for me? Were they asked to keep cameras off?

I wouldn't read too much into that Porta. I know it came from PM, but they did say they were basic and that you could have 80 spells, which is pretty G o o d [Good]

Yeah but its is still only 8. Those variation could be very minor. It like games that claim to have a 100 different armor but there is really only 10 but in different colors.

I highly doubt that there is a list of 80 spells as it would be way too hard for a mage to navigate though in real time.

Yes they could, but we don't know anything about how magic will work......unless I'm missing something.Tongue Tied [:S]

Anyways I hope that there will be more tats and haircuts along with more dungeons. 30 seems too little, there should be 40-50.

Hopefully in the final version we'll all have plenty to choose from in everything. And hopefully these 30 dungeons are pretty big.

But yeah Albion does sound really expensive. Should be a challenge thoughWink [;)]

EDIT: Murren I think you hit goldStick out tongue [:P]

No it's not, it's the Microsoft ketnoteSad [:(] Ahh well, hopefully soon.

Yes they could, but we don't know anything about how magic will work......unless I'm missing something.Tongue Tied [:S]

Well we know that you only have one button for it, that there are 8 of them, and they can be charged up. I really hope that will isn't a step down from Fable 2.

Well, I think LH are possibly forcing peopel not to post video's (at least for a while)

Or maybe people weren't allowed to film ?

    Re: Fable 2 @ GDC 2008

    Portarock-

There are 8 spell types but all can be upgraded so a total of 80 spells in all. I think that is quite alot. Or maybe not. How many were in the Fable 1?

I am worried about there being only 30 dungeons. While I didn't like Oblivion that much, one thing it had in its favour was that there was so much to do. I am hoping that Fable 2 has the same amount of content as Oblivion.
