Bowerstone is actually split into 4 regions, each of these bigger than the entirety of the city in Fable 1 (South, North, Lady grey's Castle and Quay).

And then there are the many places you can explore under the city (no not the Guild before you get all speculative).

That doesn't mean anything, that's just saying that each section of Bowerstone is larger than the entire city was in Fable/TLC. We have no way of knowing the exact size of each district, we don't have a city map or anything to go by. We can only speculate how many times larger the new Bowerstone is compared to the old one.

It is not speculation it is math. If it has 4 sections and each is bigger then the city in Fable 1 then it has to be at least 4 times bigger.

gradius was saying that the grey mansion was a reigion of the OLD bowerstone, you dont know if it is for the new bowerstone. the new one has 4 reigions, each of which are bigger than all of the bowerstone reigions combined. So there you go...

No he wasn't, he just stated the names of the four regions for the new Bowerstone. There was no "Grey Castle" in the first Fable, and there definatly were no explorable parts under the city in Fable 1.

you are misunderstanding what I meant, first of all, TLC had the grey mansion- sorry if i called it castle- and gradius was including waht TLC and Fable had in reigions of Bowerstone, you guys all thoguht the Grey mannor was still around but he was just sayng the old reigions of bowerstone and that each of the 4 new ones are bigger than all of those put together.

Yes the Bowerstone Manor was in Fable/TLC but not "Lady Grey's Castle". And I know that each new region of Bowerstone is larger than the entire old city since I already stated this in a above post, it's only impossible to tell their exact numeral size. Sometimes things are much easier to understand if you read the above posts.

either way, it looks like from the videos (so far), that there are AT LEAST a hundred or so buildings in bowerstone, and since you can buy each of them, there are going to be alot of things to do in the new bowerstone.

also, it looks like there are some houses on the cliff in the background of the video, that could mean that bowerstone has expanded even past the rivers that isolated it in the previous games.

these cities are probably one of the big reasons that the game took so long to make, this and (i believe its called) bloodstone. they look like huge cities probably with populations in the hundreds if not thousands each.

 all I know is that if there are other cities(i'm talkin more than just 5 from the original), even if they arent as big, then Fable 2 is going to be a game that you can never be completely finished with. (god I cant wait.......)

ohh, and i think i remember hearing that oakvale was no more, I dont know if it has a new name or if it was overrun by pirates or what, but I dont think its there anymore. (dont hold me to that, I heard it a while back somewhere)

Yes... when he said this I became quite speculative. I believe that this is a clue. PM said some familiar faces would show up. Maybe Lady Gray secretly had kids or even found a way to live forever and has taken over Bowerstone. She always was a sneaky B**ch.

You might be onto something there. We never did find out what she wanted those stones from Orchard Farm for... And whichever way you played she ended up with them, either through corrupt guards or the bandits she'd hired.

Sweetest moment in the game? My dog came back from the dead to help me open the Rookridge Demon Door. I fed him a snack and he followed me to see what the treasure was. When I left, he disappeared, having helped his master out one final time.

Oakvale and Bowerstone are in, then... but what about Knothole Glade? As far as I can tell, it's location wasn't that... desirable. I wonder if it still exists, or if it was wiped out just due to location and the plentiful presence of monsters.

Indeed. it could've be any new place in Fable 2 transforming. Question is, i wander if Bowerstone will increase in size a bit over the years because PM said that if help a small gypsy camp, over the years it will turn into a thriving city. But wouldn't you think that Bowerstone has increased in size too considering a small camp can turn into something big.

definately a huge possibility, the idea is that every action in the game causes something different, even if it is a subtle as a farmer deciding to put in a pig pen or something. I think that bowerstone will grow and change durring gameplay. there are just so many ways that you could affect the ecconomy of the city, that its impossible for it NOT to change.

at least thats what I believe, and i'd bet on it too.

okay bowerstone probably spread outside its island like someone said earlier and has like subburbs. Oakvale has to be in the game it was like the only other city in Mainland Albion and since Twinblade was killed they seemed to be in a position for growth. Knothole Glade is a desirable location due to its proximity to the Arena and temple of Avo plus there tough people they will survive awhile. Now the hook coast is isolated but they survived for awhile and there a strategic port. Snowspire probably did fine and now that there not isolated same with Hook Coast they will prosper. So I think all the cities in the original will be in the sequel Im going to try not to go into new cities but I do know that Barrow Fields will probably expand like a subburb of oakvale and twinblades former camp turned into a traders outpost I believe so I think it will be a perfect site for a new city. Darkwood camp and the bordello/womens refuge (If you played ) will merge into one city. Porbably like and city due to its proximity to the temple of SKorm or whatever. Orchard farm probably turn into a small agircultural community Fisher creek small fishing community and Rose cottage turned into a small vacation town for rich nobles. Windmill hill probably turn into another subburb of Bowerstone and Bargate who knows probably becomes a town aswell.

Ill stop there. We do know Brightwood is a seperate wood from Greatwood and Bloodstone is like a pirate heaven.

true but bandits have been quite weakened since then and I doubt they will start up near oakvale they probably have to stick to real rural areas now and will never attempt to attack towns anymore due to the time.

I would be happy to see Bowerstone to have bigger houses too. This has an effect on how big the city is because you could just walk in and explore an house in  about 15 seconds on the original. I'm sure they've increased in size as well has the city. (I have to watch another video of Bowerstone to refresh my memory.

Hopefully much bigger. That was my only real gripe with Fable when I played the game. The cities/towns tended to be on the small side (seeming more like villages than actual towns) and this lended to the game being shorter. As well as the very small environments. They were beautifully conceived, but generally far too small to support an experience over 8 hours long.

Really? Would that mean that the area around the camp would be expanded outwards and open up some of that free, open area around the camp, or would that not make sense?
