i dont really like metal casing, i mean, they look cool, but no matter how hard you try, they always seem to get scratched, now a leather case would be sweet... with a plastic spot where the disc goes... and possibly a cutout where the guildseal necklace could go.

I work at a Major Retailer lets call it "Buy More" ala the TV show Chuck. I did some digging and I believe it's real because I found the Manufacturer's Part Number 9CS-00001 While Fable 2 regular is 9CS-00002.

I would like a cloth map and a metal guild seal asuming that there is a guild. A pre-printed fortune teller with instructions on how to fold it would be cool too. Maybe some exclusive video that Sam is working on that won't be in the Video Diaries. It could also include some of those XBLA games that you can earn Fable money by playing. I thought I heard that one was going to available in the regular version of Fable so maybe more than one for the limited edition. I don't care about a figurine. I seriously doubt that there would be seperate editions of the game or exclusive content. I hope that doesn't come to pass, that would be unfair to those who pay $60 for the non limited edition which will be the majority of gamers.

Eh, I think that's going a little to far. I like the idea and all but...no. I don't see somebody going and spending $120 for both versions just so they can have the content that comes in both. As long as the  version got the version contents later in a download, then I wouldn't have a problem with it.

No that is not the point. If you wanted all the items from the edition but you only had the edition, you would trade with people over Xbox Live.

Having and collector edition is a cool idea, but simple is not practical from a stores view point.  Collector edition is risky enough as it is, because they are likely to just set of the selves collecting dust and losing value. Asking stores to buy two styles is simple asking to much of them.  Plus F2 is going to be so much more then just /, and the box covers and collector editions should show that.

How is it not practical? Stores wouldnt buy twice as much Limited Editions as they normally would, they would only order the reserves (which obviously would be different in the computer to tell them apart) plus a few more. That's what they do for normal LE's. Normally they don't make that many LE's, so most of the time they're all gone after the first one or two shipments.

It would be sweet to have a or edition, but I don't like the idea of different content within them. Especially if people don't have Xbox Live or any friends that have Fable 2 or a 360. How would they trade items or whatever? I think the difference should be purely aesthetic.

they should include rare armour and weopens and maybe a diffrent type of dog with a shiny cover case but not a metal case with a map and gamer pics and themes that would be worth an extra 5 pound i just hope they are planing a limited edition lets just hope for the best

As did Red and Blue and Sahphire and gold and loads of them. But yes I understand your point. Maybe if the / editions were the only editions you could get and there was no 'normal' editions.

And the point about not having XBL, well you could say the same thing about Pokemon, if you didn't have a connecting wire or and friends that played Pokemon. Also, you wouldn't miss out on much, just some weapons and armour but you would still have the weapons and armour that came with whatever edition you purchased.

Amazon is also claiming that there is a Fable 2 Limited Edition box for $70 and that the game is rated M. id be disappointed if they didnt make a fable three for the xbox 1000 when it comes out in three or four years... i mean, it would be like a perfect game for the perfect system... or at least a remake of fable one, graphics and everything all revamped would be awesome...

i dont think they would use real leather, maybe plastic with pleather over it, that wouldnt be so expensive.

i like the case idea, with the four corners and the corrupt noble and thing... i dont really like the leather case idea, only if it were a black leather. id prefer a metalic case even though someone mentioned earlier that they can get scratched, but thats only if you dont take care of it. a metalic case showing a hero divided into four parts, corrupt noble and .. but hey where do rich and poor come in?

Leaves fall off the trees in october, they brown in late august through late setember.

There'll be a Fable 3 most likely, Microsoft would have a hissy fit if there wasn't a Fable 3. Obviously you aren't a big fan of Fable lol. Indeed though LH will probably focus on DLC and expansions for F2 for a while and probably a new game but they'll make a third installment, most series run in threes especially the highly anticipated ones but after the third one thats the one that decides if there'll be anymore.

ok, one, i am ocd about taking care of things, i completely and utterly tried as hard as i could to take care of the final fantasy 12 special edition which had a metal case, and it got scratch and the paint chipped off, i hate metal cases, and i hate it when i pick it up and its freezing cold because of the air conditioning, i would love a leather/pleather case, i dont think it should be black or brown, kind of a thrashed look on a choice of black or brown leather would be awesome, and it could fold out wallet style and have the game disc, an art book, and the guild seal pendant, and some sort of box thing that comes over the leather could have the extreme morphs in a sort of cross style.

Perhaps there could be a revesable cover for the game and packaging would put either the or the cover on alternating boxes it could be as easy as a velcro attachment and you could switch the cover to to suit you. Lots of games have come out with different covers for the same game so I don't see it as unlikely that they would do it if they deemed it a idea. Two different games on the otherhand would defeat the whole choose your destiny bit.

Hey everyone here at Lionhead forums, I have somewhat of a solution to the Limited Edition problems. I had the Idea to take the Silver chest from fable and make it the case the limited edition shwag comes in, among other ies the treasure chest would contain the game, and upon purchase recieve a silver key for your preorder, then again this would create a bundle of other problems for Lionhead, But I think this would be the coolest limited edition ever.
