Hey, TMOers!

Some of my friends and I working on a school project were we have to make a music video.  I recently got the idea of making the music video by using "the movies".

But the problem is, where can I find the guitar mod and some other musical instruments mods and perhaps scene mods?

I have seen the new music video by Andy_Inc (great job by the way) were he had credit the guy BudBundy'sMullet for the guitar prop, but I just don't know where it can be downloaded.

Please, a direct link for this would be really appreciated...

Not nice Andy. Passing people's mods around without permission. That is the very reason Bud and Six moved to more secure locations.

You NEVER pass around someone else's mods with asking them, IMHO.

This is why i am only going to release the enigma Pack 2; with new cars, slot machines, a church, a new ambualance and dozens of ships, to people i trust.

And after seeing that you'd gladly pass them around without asking bud, then i'll keep the recording studioS to myself for now.

So what's the point of uploading the mods to a site where everyone can still download them? If Bud wanted his mods to be available only to his friends, surely he wouldn't open a whole site where anyone can download them?
So what happened exactly with the whole "people passing them around" thing... Shouldn't the creator of the site expect something like that to happen if he's going to make a mod site? Also, why would people pass the mods on, if the site's up and available to the public? I wouldn't "pass it on"... I'd send him a link. The site's down; (was up like a week ago), so I'm assuming it may be down-time, who knows? Surely it would be the same as if I sent him the link to the prop.

The guy needs the guitar for a homework piece, and since I have the mod in my possession, I'm not gonna be greedy and keep it, and say no... why not share it to help out a fellow film-maker a little?
I also told Pio that if he uses it, to credit Bud for the mod, so I don't really see what the problem is...

Also, how the hell am I supposed to contact Bud when the site is down?

Note: I don't want the above post to seem arrogant (reading it back, LOL), I just want some clarification, because I'm a little confused...

Bud and Six took down their site because of the file sharing. When uploaded to 8EB and Skinshack, they were well known as site for mod whores to pick up mediocre mods left and right.

Bud and Six's philosophy was different. YOU download for YOU to use. NOT to share, and credit must always be given. But due to some people breaking the golden rules, he closed the mods and moved them to a secret location.

If its for your homework, do something else or contact Bud and/or Six. And until the PM system is back on line at the secret site, its a case of too bad, how sad for you.

You should know better, Andy. You already know how to contact Bud, as you are a member of the secret site. As you may or may not have permission to use the mods there, you'll have to ask the admin.

Personally, I couldn't care less if you keep mods to yourself. It's amusingly childish, degrading the TMO community to that of a school playground, but in the end the creator of the mod is the owner of the mod and they can do whatever they want with it.
Andy, it looks like they don't want to share it with normal people, so it's definitely not worth sending it to him without permission.

The worst thing is coming onto a public site, showing off a mod and then saying 'but you can't have it'. Grow up.

Yo Uber stop butt f****ng the bros. and don't get on your high horse that you're like their best friends. I have six's msn addy. I'd rather be friends with proper selfless modders like FraasMovies because they're are giving than keeping it to themselves. BTW Fraas's new mod is a shooting arcade machine. (Model by me)

yeah, i downloaded it. Just one thing, if you were gonna use someone else's mesh, cos i downloaded the very same model from some site i have forgoten, i thought you would have done a better job texturing it. But i guess that's the way you like it.

 

Besides, all i said was spreading them around without his permission. You must have conviently missed that part.  Has Fraas started used the blender scripts for exporting, or still using the awful MAX scripts still?

Guys, guys.... don't fight!

My take on this is: Bud and Sixy made these mods, and they have a right to keep them to themselves - or only give them to friends.
I'm in the happy position to have access to them - and I would never, ever give them to anybody else. This goes for every mod I've downloaded - either people can get them where I got them, or, in the case of Buds and Sixy's, they'll have to contact them. Would someone I know and trust for a long time ask me, I might even try to get this someone into contact with them, but I would never share them without permission.

It's that easy - trust has to be earned. Don't share mods (or music, or anything else really) which havn't been given to the general community without first asking permission of the creator.

And always, always credit everyone in your movie description.
