    Custom Backdrops

I have a 1024x250 .dds image that I've put into the "Data-->textures-->backdrops" folder under program files.  I would like to apply this as the backdrop on the blue screen set, but The Movies does not seem to recognize it.  What am I doing wrong??

    Thank you!

You're off by six. Big Smile [:D]

The dimensions for the backdrop dds need to be 1024x256. Fix that and let us know if it works.

Still not working...  Sad [:(]  Am I putting the file in the right place?

    Re: Custom Backdrops

Hey, DrawmaQueen.  I just got my first home-made backdrop working.  First couple of times, just like you, it didn't work.  But here's what fixed it for me.  If you haven't already, start the name of the backdrop with bd_ -

eg - I changed the name of mine to: bd_silverdancing.dds

I then put that in data/textures/backdrops and it worked.   (I went with 1024x256).

also, remember when putting ANY mods in, that you have to restart the game in order for them to appear. that drove me mad for a while, til i figured it out. i'd just alt-tab back into the game and there was nothing there! so keep that in mind.
