    List of Scene Quality

googled, and searched the forum to no avail.
Does anyone know if there is a list of the scene quality for each scene for stunts and effects like in the prima guide for The Movies.

Um...if someone else understands what is meant by 'scene quality' then feel free to ignore my post and help out...
But I'm not entirely sure what you mean by scene quality. I believe there are lists of scenes dotting around...I remember someone making a thread listing them a while back. But I'm a little stumped here. Stick out tongue [:P] Then again, I never read the guide.

    Re: List of Scene Quality

Well Del, I believe that for each scene in Tycoon Mode there was a number attatched to it. The higher the number the better the "scene quality", but the only benefit I ever thought came fom it was getting higher stars for your movies quicker.

I don't think anyone has bothered to make a list of the scene quality for S & E scenes most likely because....scene quality...isn't that...important. Classic [:classic:]

If I recall correctly you are right on the mark. When you are scriptwriting in Tycoon Mode a few things happen:

-If you choose Hollywood or Basic mode there are always "Suggested" scenes. Those scenes are more valuable (in terms of Stars) than other scenes.

-If you choose "Freeform" mode there aren't "Suggested" scenes. So each scene scores almost the same amount.

-Scenes related to the movie's genre are more valuable than others.

This way, if you choose a Basic Romantic film and your ending scene is Proposal you'll have a higher Star rating than using Horror Enter as your ending scene.

But if you are looking for the exact amount of Stars, you should do a more comprehensive research.

Not that I know of, not entirely sure what you'd need it for.  Tongue Tied [:S]

Raven hit it on the dot, it’s not imperative or required more idle curiosity and knowledge seeking. In the Prima Guide For Movies Vanilla there is a point break down of the quality for each scene and set, such as Ain't over yet is worth 90 pts and available in all scenes (or just about) or Speech is 90 and only available on municipal building

So THAT'S why everybody uses it in their movies! Confused [*-)]

Hollywood is just a way to write your scripts in-game in Advanced Movie Maker. When choosing scenes it follows a story arc and into stages (Intro, buildup, skirmish, ending, etc). It's either that or freeform where there aren't any stages.
