Awesome, I've always been a big fan of the Halo series and this takes the cake. Now especially since MS owns Halo its a great way to cross advertise and give the people who love both games a great treat! I can't wait to run down and pre-order

bungie was owned by microsoft, but they decided to leave microsoft.. and halos rights were kept by microsoft.

although its off topic yes they had an exclusive contract or something along those lines which bungie decided wasnt working out so they disbanded however they are still making games exclusively for MS but not every game... i think

Sorry, but that's wrong. MS owned Bungie ever since the original Xbox and Halo days. Bungie however wanted to be independent again so they reached an agreement with MS, in which MS kept the Halo IP. Bungie is still very close to them and possible still exclusive at least for a while.

the master chief armour? god this is rubbish, i though ninja armour in halo was bad enough. MS have no taste but lionhead should so why is this in fable 2.
i would love to believe this is fake but the guild seal(broach) and the graphic style, it looks too professional for someone to have rendered/photoshoped. i like the halo games, they're fun but fable is different. a chicken out fit here a pimp hat there, small nods at peter molynex and jack sparrow on tomb stones (a bit weird, but ok) now this! whats next? an assassins creed outfit (i bet people would love that actually), a statue of the "big daddy" from bioshock.

this is terrible and i would never wear this nor buy it in game. lionhead please get this out of your game your giving in to the Microsoft army. i love lionhead and all there games i just they didnt sell more than they wanted to Microsoft.

And Moon is right, you don't have to wear it nor buy it if it's actually in the game. I would love to hear the orgins on it though.

like seriously i dont think the MC armor is that big a deal i mean from what i can see all thats there is a helmet the rest looks like something you would find regularly like leather armor... its not like your going to become MC your just gonna have a helmet that resembles him... if thats even for real

i didnt notice that until you mentioned it but besides the metal pads on the gloves and boots they look almost like regular boots

1) Bungie made so much money of the halo franchise, they actually bought themselves out of microsoft. They are free to make games on any console they want now!

2) It looks real enough, and is quite possible.

a. DOA4 SPARTAN
b. HYABUSA ARMOUR in H3
c. Also during the making of Halo 2, one of their video documentaries showed one of the art directors at bungie playing Fable in the work place.

Needless to say, its very possible, and it might not be MS's doing, but a mutual agreement between Lionhead fanboys and Bungie fanboys. That also could very well mean that an upcomming BUNGIE title will have Fable reference in it

And I think its cool that they added it, whats the big f****ng deal? Its there for fun, its not like an armour you would get during a key turning point in the story! As far as Im concerned master chief can be there just as much as the frying pan, chick outfit, pimp hat, and the guns.

 

PS: It doesn't even look metalic or even futuristic, its just a green outfit that strangely resembles masterchief. Its not MC's head copied on or any gay crap like that, even the very first builds of the Master Chief long before Halo: CE came out didn't look that.

I'll be blunt, I think it is in fact, real... I believe it is probably part of the "extra content" then comes with the collectors edition... personally I dislike halo, but I dont mind this bieng in my game... it doesnt look *so* rediculous that it looks totally out of place, it is just green metal armor with a slightly odd helmet... I personally wont use it but if a friend of mine (though most friends of mine probably would just chuckle at its exsistence then promptly ignore said exsistence) was wearing it, I wouldnt care... I would just throw on the chicken suit.

If they try to implement a Halo armor like permutation im going to be writing Lionhead a very heart to heart email.

Loinhead claim to have some kind of "image" related to some kind of "game" in which a so-called "hero" is portrayed in astronaut-like "armor", reminiscent of another prominent "Microsoft" game occasionally referred to as "Halo".

Cool I surly hope you can be MasterChief then it would fit my Gamer tag and My hero would be the like really neet they might thank I am an alien. I love the thoughts of having that as my Armor. Plus it would make sense for them to put that as armor in Fable 2 cause MastherChief is like the Mario of microsoft.

No having a Master Chief armor permutation is a horrible idea, just even the thought of it being ingame is very dissatisfying, And if it is true, then Lionhead would not be doing Halo any justice by tossing it in there.
