Im looking for both male and female voice actors for this story about existence. I dont want to publicly say too much about it yet, but to at least have a little idea of its genre I,ve posted a little bit of dialogue below. Thanks

 

MAN1

I have a photograph from 1955 in which you appear, You dont look a day older than you do today either. Can you explain that sir?

MAN2

I'm a very old being, I,ve been around history more than historians, Infact I'm probably walking history myself.

MAN 1

How old exactly are you?

MAN2

I stopped counting decades ago, but its over 800 years since death visited me, but he wouldn't take me.

MAN1

Lets say I believe you for arguments sake, why would death reject you. Are you saying you're existence is some kind of a gift from god.

MAN2

To live a forever existence is not an existence or a gift from god, Its a curse straight out of hell. You see love loses its meaning when you find you can no longer embrace it because of the pain that comes with losing it. The last time I got married was in 1926, That was my twenty seventh and last marriage. I have buried more wives than any man should have too, Cried more tears than any man would dare admit.

MAN1

And what is it you want exactly?

MAN2

I just......I.....just...wanna die.

Heres where I get hammered. I wont be using TMO because whilst I respect it I feel its too restrictive for editing and effects. However I will be abiding by the terms and conditions of TMO which I hope will allow me to continue to promote it here. The real plus to goin outside of TMO is an increase in resolution and general quality. Lionhead Studio's will of course get a credit.

I got a little clip I shot yesterday, Its more of a test than an actual scene. I'm trying to visualise death in a kind of surreal but not too much of surreal way. The test shot has helped me quite alot.

What I want now is that whenever death is about to turn up a few dozen skulls appear first. I also have an idea for a big hour glass to appear in the final shot, The idea being when that hour glass signifies you're last hour on earth.

EDIT 2 - The final product will not be uploaded to putfile. I have found a better site that does not reduce resolution quality.

Sounds like an interesting Story & idea.

NARRATION [Chris Jetuss]

The basic fact about human existence is not that it is a tragedy, but that it is a bore. It is not so much a war as an endless standing in line.

To exist is to change, to change is to mature and mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.

1888

The camera pans down from the capel/church to a WHISTLING MAN sat all alone. He is whistling away.

The sound of galloping can be heard, A unknown HORSE RIDER enters the town on horseback before coming to a halt near the WHISTLING MAN

HORSE RIDER: ride girl, ride.

The HORSE RIDER mounts off of the horse before turning straight towards the WHISTLING MAN.

WHISTLING MAN: You took you're time, Was starting to think those old Indians had got ya. Its not gonna matter though red.

WHISTLING MAN [CONT'D]: There aint nothin you can do to me thats not been done already, You see this existence of mine, Its forever.

The conversation is quickly interupted by an Undertaker who seems to know what is going to happen. He approaches the WHISTLING MAN before taking his measurements.

UNDERTAKER: Excuse me, Please please wait. Let me just uh...I,ll just be a second sir, then you can um..um..just a second.

RED looks on with amusement.

RED: Maybe he knows something you dont, huh.

The UNDERTAKER quickly leaves the gunslingers to it. The WHISTLING MAN draws his gun with super speed.

CUT TO BLACK:

Four or five gunshots ring out.

CUT TO:

The WHISTLING MAN riggles in agony on the the floor.

WHISTLING MAN: Oh god you ***, It never hurt like this before. God....Damn.

RED with his gun still pointed at the dying man reaches for the trigger one last deadly time.

WHISTLING MAN: Nooooooooooo.....

CUT TO BLACK:

One final gunshot rings out.

CUT TO:

The WHISTLING MAN lays dead in the background as RED calmly walks away, but a DEATHLY FIGURE appears from nowhere. It walks towards the dead WHISTLING MAN and crouches down.

Suddenly the dead WHISTLING MAN reanimates seemingly still alive. He looks up at the DEATHLY FIGURE.

WHISTLING MAN: Its me...you..you ***.

The DEATHLY FIGURE throws the dying WHISTLING MAN to the floor with much hast before screaming out loud.

FADE TO BLACK.

Patience Endo, you've got four responces from voice actors, two of which are VERY experienced at what they do. That's more than the typical responce, they all seem to like your script.

Give it time, I can't imagine why they need to get MSN to suit your needs, e-mails and forum PM's have served me well over the last 2 years.
