Hey there everyone. Here's a new update about what's going on with Aspirations and Life.

 

At this moment and over a few days, I think i'll be finishing off Aspirations first and then Life next. One logical, reason for this is that it's been a year ago since I started work on Aspirations and it's really not all that far from being finished. All the music is done, finished it up almost a month ago. I also got to export a test edit of the movie which really helps as I know from watching it if I want to re-shoot a few scenes and all that. Talking of which, I re-shot a few scenes today. I'm pretty happy with what I got in AMM, I'll probably go back and re-shoot a few other scenes so it's completly sorted. All in all, it's really as I say not far from completion. The release date is still fixed for 31st August, I might release it before that at this rate. We'll just wait and see. 

I don't know when Life will be released but very soon. More news to come soon about this project and Life.

Hey there everyone. I have interesting news.

*Update*

Firstly, The CC shorts have been cancelled, but not all so bad news as me and a friend will be doing a CC game instead, which will fill in what the shorts were set out to do pretty much, which was tell the story. Secondly, Cancer Sticks has been cancelled too, I most likely will do it as a Live action some-day. Not to show off or anything, but 3 years ago I scripted a big action movie, over 4 scripts infact [which will most likely put into 2 movies with the first 2 scripts being rather short, lol] to be done live action [I think I mentioned it b4 once in another thread], a few TMO'ers know about it. It is a revenge tale, that's all I wanna say as I don't like to spoil things and this tale has a lot of twists and turns so.... yup. Best not to say what really happens as it could give it away.

Thirdly, Work on Aspirations is going very smoothly, still set for August 31st for release. All cast is casted, music is all done, camera-work is pretty much all done and overall, pretty much done, not very far to go at all now. I have some cool news on Life and Intelligence, I won't be doing them as TM movies, but as Live action movies instead. I have no idea when they will be made and all that but still, i'm very hesistant to get them done. Thus meaning, Aspirations is my last TM movie. I personally think it's justified, i've made 50 trailers and by the time Aspirations is made, 12 TM movies.

This includes: CC1, CC2, CC2: the re-make, CC3, CC4, SWALF 1, SWALF 2, SWALF 3, SWALF 4, Acceptance, Time and Aspirations.

It's been a great experience overall, I just feel as a director and all it's best to move on [been on here for over 2 and a half years] as I want to, especially after doing a little live action 2 minute opening sequence this year for College really opened my eyes, not to mention having very recent [3 weeks ago] work experience at a TV station, which was very .

Well, that was unexpected...

It is a shame that CC and Cancer Sticks have been cancelled. Though I guess now you will be able to concentrate on making Aspirations absolutely fantastic, and I still await it with great anticipation.

As someone who has greatly enjoyed being on a stage I wish you best of luck with your live action and hope you have a hell of a lot of fun!

Will Time be re-released on TMU?

No, it won't be re-released on TMU. With TMO back up, I don't see the point. Anyways, I have news. More work has been going on for Aspirations, i've been looking around on the net for sound-effects, very pleased with what I have found so far. Another thing is that I have released a last trailer as it's my last TM movie. I decided it was best to as it's my last TM movie, also I love to make trailers, one of the most exciting things to do with a movie you're making I think. So, yup, the release is still set for August 31st.

As I said I would list all the cast, here it is:

Hey there everyone. Just thought i'd update this thread as today was supposed to be the day this film was released, was on track for over a year but oh well..... best not to rush and make it the best as I want, not rush, etc. Which brings me onto saying something special, which will be said in the update.

*Update*

As I say, today was supposed to be the day this movie was released but my real-life has interrupted the end progress of this project, of which I don't regret. That reason being that this movie has been in the works for over a year, so to rush it now would be throwing away all the effort and time i've put into it so far, if that makes sense.

So, the movie is kinda on-hold as i'm not really working on it all atm, i'm kinda working on it and kinda not, reasons for this being:

*Got a busy week ahead of me, going away for a few days later on this week and do something important

*College starts again in 8 days today

*Lastly, In 9 days today it's my 18th Birthday

 

Given these reasons I will be very much delaying the project [I say very much as like I say, I will be kinda working on it for like a few weeks but that'll be it] for quite a while, don't know long that exactly is so I won't be putting an exact amount of time on that. Which brings me to the special news of this update, I will also be making another version of the movie, a drama version. So, in total: A documentary version and a drama version. You might think "Why is this so? 2 versions?!?!

Well.... the reason for this is that I do feel honestly that the documentary version is great but I thought of the idea of doing the movie as a drama opposed to a documentary about 2 weeks ago, I thought to myself "It would be really great to do another version, i'm gonna do this! The thing is, not spoiling anything about the movie when I say but there is a lot of character development in the documentary version. However, the drama version has more character development, not like taccy extra development with characters, extra character development. Of course, as you can imagine, the drama version will have all of the parts with the analyzers [the people who are analyzing the bullying scenes in the movie] removed, not in the drama version. Matter of the fact here about doing 2 versions is that with doing 2 versions you have decide wisely about what to have cut out of the original version, what to not cut out of the original version and it's no just thinking "Oh, I'm gonna do the drama version, stuff the things [like VA's, etc] removed from the original version, the documentary version!

I stand by this decision about doing 2 versions of this film as I think it's a great experience. The drama version will give the audience a bit more than the documentary version. I plan to release them around the same-time with the fact that the documentary version [the original version] is almost done.

DRAKE - SEASON 1 - MAKING YOUR WAY TO TMU

*Update*

Hello everyone again. This is the latest update, since late August in this thread. The project has been progressing well again, I recently made 3 new trailers for the movie, 2 more for the documentary version and one for the drama version. Still no release date is set but I tell you right now, when this project does come out, i'll be very glad it's over, not that I wanna like rush it and get it out right now or anything like that. What I mean is that this movie has literally taken forever, in a really  way, I've never learnt so many new, cool ways to move the camera, how to create great starmakers [which I really sucked at in the past]. This has been a real journey making this movie and it's still not over. After 9 trailers, a lot of shooting and much more, it's not over but you know what, I'm still really enjoying it, I honestly am. It's been 15 months now since I started production, at that stage I had just started scripting the movie. A lot has happened in those 15 months with regards to the making of this film. I'm still wondering if I should release the original version before the alternate version as this other version will have different bits of music and just will be rather different to the original version. Just to make you all aware, I will be doing a "Making of" documentary on the making of this project after both version are done. I still would like to try and release them together on the same day as then it's easier for me and for the audience, the audience can tell me which version they prefer and all the rest. Personally, I love both versions but I slightly prefer the alternate version as it has quite a bit more depth. Whatever version you guys go for at the end of the day, even if it's both, I know deep down in my heart that it's gonna be a great day, releasing this movie, both versions, really can't wait for it.

By far, this has been the best experience making a movie and that's saying a lot as it's not finished yet. I will say I apologise for not releasing it on August 31st as I had said I would stick to for almost an entire year. It's just that new things came about and it wasn't ready. When I say new things came about, what I mean is I thought of new ideas for some scenes, like there's one bit in one of the new trailers which is what I'm on about, I shot a scene of Judy's character pushing someone, not literally but just threatening them to go over a bit of a conversation Sally and Judy have in a part of the film. Not to mention, the idea for a new version came about. It's really something special to do another version, especially for a movie that you've been working on for over a year long. I just think it tops the experience of making any movie I have ever made and I really have enjoyed making the previous films I have made a lot. I don't know how long there is to go now with making this film, I really have no idea, it could be early next year, maybe even before Christmas, who knows. I'll just see how things go.

I apologise for no new updates recently, it's just I haven't been working on this for quite some-time but I'm pleased to say that it's all starting again. Also, the movie, well.... the original version [the documentary version] will be out very, very soon, within the next month coming for sure. I have some other news, a cast member has backed out, Chris62 but it was very understandable and I do respect and like Chris a lot, so it's cool. I have re-casted the role and I will be playing the part, reason being I really wanted to play the part at first but wanted to give it to someone else but it's great to get this opportunity to play this role. As much as I would of have loved Chris's performance of it which I would of have it's so great to play this part but having said that Chris is a really, really actor. From working with him once previously, in "Time" it was really something very special working with him. A very talented actor there.

 

I don't have a set release date as of now but it'll be within in the next month, all the titles are done, the vo's are pretty much done, the music is all done and all the shooting is done. So..... yup. Not very long to go with this version of Aspirations at all.

I have no idea when the alternate version of Aspirations will be out but it'll be a while, I haven't added anything to the script for quite some-time. I improvised the ending of this version with one of the main actors of the film when was on skype quite a bit of time ago and I asked him his opinion of it, he said "It worked very well", so that's the ending of the movie for that version out of the way. I'm expecting this version to be a bit shorter than the documentary version but we'll see. More news to come soon. Stay tuned!

*Update*
Final tests are being done with Aspirations to sort out little issues, for example: before some vo's were not lip-synching and now I got them sorted out, they work! YAY! These little tests are bits of the film I have worked on and exported to see how they look and sound. Today for instance I was working on the rest of the bullying scenes in the movie for the original version. It's been going very , later on today I will move onto doing final tests of the analyzing scenes. Then we're pratically there! I'm very sure that it'll be out in a month's time or so.

So, thought i'd start a count-down now given the progress i'm making and have been making for over the last 16 months of production [OMG!].

Official countdown: 30 days or so to go!

 

As far as uploading this movie onto a site goes, with the site going down it won't be uploaded on there but i'll upload it on quite a few sites like TMU, Youtube and Motionbox.

Also, I have other great news. I have decided on the definite release date for the movie, 20th December. In all honest truth, I haven't got hardly anything to do with the movie, like today I quite a bit more [scoring up the last of the scenes and sorting out some little faults like lip-synching not working with some vo's and some others]. Overall, in regards with work on the movie I really haven't got anything really left to do, I'll be re-shooting a few little things from some shots I didn't really like in the test edit of the movie I did and just sorting out the few, final things, little flaws that are easily fixed like the vo's not lip-synching for example. Practically, all I really have to do now is edit up the real thing. Won't take long, still can't wait for it. I won't be doing any special previews before the movie is released as I have a busy month ahead of me, not just on doing the final touches on this movie [which honestly won't take hardly any time at all as it's very much done] but on some college work too. The college work won't interfere with the completion of this project though, sorry it seems like I'm waffling on but I just wanted to assure you that this is for real. Also, another reason for waffling on is I apologise I didn't get it on August 31st but it really wasn't ready back then, wish it was but it wasn't, it will be out on 20th December though.

 

So, there you have it, 20th December is the release of the movie [the original version], it's an early Christmas present on the behalf of me for the TMO community. More news to come! Stay tuned!
