    The Creation of Balverines

The creation of balverines started thousands of years before the guild was created. The balverine was a creature genetically created when a wolf and a wolverine fought each other, in the end both died and their bloods mixed causing a D.N.A. mixture. Hours later a wolf came by to finish the remains of the carcasses and since wolves travel in packs others came to eat the remains also. After the wolves finished eating they slept long and peacefully. In the morning they found themselves, creatures white as snow and fierce as fire. Other wolves rejected them as well as wolverines. When mating season arrived the bred and out came the second generation, but these where not white the dark brown, almost black. The offspring mated and they came up with white balverines and so this pattern went on forever until because of all the human activity they could no longer breed and only a few white balverines where left and a bit a regular balverines.

That's not how it happened, I don't remember the exact name of the beast but it was much more fearsome than a balverine, and it wounded a man creating the curse, it's explained by the oracle in F:TLC.

"But does on ever truly have a choice? One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate. And thus defy the tyrannous stars."

The Balvorn. I have a story on it. The Balvorn feasted on thousands at a time, only once did a human survive the bite, he transformed into the very first Balverine his curse lives to this day. Sleeping [:zleeping:]
