UPDATES!
Some added scenes; release format; and medical emergency! So, production has been going along smoothly. I'm all set up with the new adobe premiere pro, and its quite overwhelming; I definitely have a lot to learn. Due to my lack of knowledge with Adobe, Sony Vegas will still be the editor I use to pre-edit all scenes before doing the final cut with Adobe. This helps me get through the compositing scenes more efficiently and quickly, due to Sony Vegas' powerful and simple keyer.
Anyways, as I was putting some of the scenes together, I noticed some pot holes so, I went in and smoothed those out by adding some scenes. I've even filmed an add-on to the opening which hadn't been initially designed for the film, but with it added, draws the film closer to Nick Blacketer's (co-director) original short story.
I've added some screenshots below for you enjoyment.

And its official, The Grey People will be released in 15 minute episodes over a span of a month or so. The episodes, however, will not follow the traditional episodic outline, but rather just end unexpectedly where the next segment will begin. This is to capitalize on the release while also giving me the chance to promote each episode where we hope to bring in more viewers then a standard long-running release. It keeps it fresh and going. The other benefit is that it will give me the opportunity and the time to dedicate myself fully to the DVD so by the time the last episode airs, the DVD will be ready for people to download or to have shipped to them.
A BIT ON MY PERSONAL LIFE:Last Saturday, I woke up without the ability to move my foot or my leg while having extreme shooting pain. I went in for a MRI and the diagnosis is a severe disk budge in my lower back that's grinding my sciatic nerve (the biggest nerve in your body that pretty much gives you your leg functions).
Right now, I'm trying to figure out my options and what I can do regarding surgery. I hope you guys can wish me some luck but I assure you, this will not further delay the release of the film. I promise.
