Well ofcourse they have been made.. Microsoft will mass produce so everyone will have a chance to purchase them more likely. Since they messed up selling LEs. But it cannot be confirmed. Thats not a reliable resource. So, it doesnt mean much.

All I know is this: if they're going to sell us the hobbe toy and the fate cards separately, the composite sum of both better be less than 7 USD because originally we were going to get the fate cards, hobbe toy and a premium game box for 10 USD more.

The first anyone has heard about there not being enough Hobbes and Cards for the Limited Collector's Edition was only several days ago and was less than 4 weeks before the product was to have been shipped.

I don't believe for a second that Microsoft was suddenly informed or suddenly noticed, only 4 weeks from the street date for a product, that they didn't have enough product.  Four weeks before the street date means probably no more than 3 weeks before the date when they have to package and ship the product for it to be in stores.  How can they ask us to believe that a mere 3 weeks before they have to ship the product they realized they didn't have enough product on a major game which will ship millions of units???

I think it is obvious that Microsoft merely wants to sell more "Limited Editions" and it can't do that if it only has a finite number of Hobbes and Cards.  Perhaps they decided to get rid of the Limited Collector's Edition extras because they want to sell the Hobbes separately.

Well if the boxes were already produced and I think they were I don't think they'll just throw them away although they could give them another paint job and use them for another game. Hard to say but I think there's a chance that we may be seeing a new edition of Fable 2 released within a year which will hopefully come in the right boxes.

Wait Wait, slow down. I am German and that's the blog of the German Xbox Platform Manager Boris Schneider Johne. He received the Hobbe figurine some weeks ago, when it was still planned to include it in the LE. In his current blog entry he mentioned that his figurine has increased in worth because others won't come.

But I also hope they sell them apart from the rest.

Microsoft is a bunch of greedy ______ in my opinion, as i know alot of people agree with me. Microsoft would probably downsize LE and then sell hobbe figurines and fate cards seperatly, although i don't know if i'd by them personally.

Fable 2 is a major game for Microsoft and will ship many millions of units initially and many more in the future.  There is more to the story than just some vaguely described "shortage".  A company who cared about the customer and who wasn't hiding anything would surely give a more descriptive explanation for why they are disappointing a lot of gamers.

Microsoft is greedy and I am sure they are hiding something.

Oh and On the subject of it being "Sold Seperately", since the market on the LE edition is having it's price adjusted by $10 then if the figure is released and is within that $10 range than I don't see how it could be considered an outrage

The Fate Cards are being/been(?) released as a .PDF file that you can download. With that .pdf file it doesn't take very much effort to bring them to a printing store to get a nice tangible version for yourself. As for the premium box, I don't know and my theory is purely speculation since nobody will really know about the price of the hobbe figure or if perhaps all three items will be released (The Tin, Cards, and Hobbe) together.

Can't really know for sure until the product itself is announced or released.

I personally think the extras that were "removed" from the LCE will be sold seperately. I accept that there may have been supply issues - although the cynic in me agrees with some of the other comments here, that someone realised they could make a lot more money if they discounted the LEs and sold the figures seperately.

If there were genuine supply issues, why not send the 'missing' extras on, when they are ready? Because it doesn't make anyone any extra money, that's why.

I'd still rather have MS publish/develop a game rather than EA, at least MS know what games are.
