I started up a new character on my friend's 360, played through childhood, grew up and set out for Bowerstone. My friend joined in with his character, and we both realised, wtf you can't be your own guy, and the camera sucks carpets. I enjoy playing Fable 2 single player, where I get to see my character and what he's doing. I don't enjoy playing a co-op game where the camera fucks the gameplay and one of the players is only some lame generic hencheman. If Lionhead don't fix this, I won't be doing any co-op. It's just not fun at all. It's just lame.

We never were to be our own characters. Most of us knew that, for a very long time. I am so surprised this is still coming up.
Maybe Fable 3, we can.

Although I agree that Co-op was quite disapointing, taking a dump on a manure field wont make it stink any more. Should you wish to understand why the co-op sucked than i suggest that we PM a Dev to explain why. Even though its not certain we will get an answer its better than posting in this thread how much hate you have.

I don't think the co-op sucks. I think it was designed so that two players could play at the same time in one game on one game console.

Yes it may not be what online gamers think, but those of us who do not play online like to sometimes play multiplayer games.

But, asking the x-box to import one hero from one saved game to another saved game on the same console is impossible with in the constraints of the game consoles programming.

I don't understand why people complain more about not being able to use their own hero in somebody else's game over the shared camera.

I honestly couldn't care less about being a pre-made henchman, they need to make the cameras separate - would make it a whole lot more fun .

I agree for the most part.
Co-op gets pretty lame and the only thing that'd make me want to play it is if
I could show off my unique heros...
The camera should defiantly be separated for online play and obviously stay
the way it is for play on one TV.

I doubt it'll be changed however because it's not broken,
it's functioning just as they intended it to.
